OSCAR AWARDS..... can be very political

I  READ  AN  ARTICLE  SOME  YEARS  AGO  ABOUT  THE  BEHIND  THE  SCENES  MOVES [KINDA POLITICAL]  THAT  GOES  ON  TO  THE  LEAD  UP  OF  THE  HOLLYWOOD OSCARS.

NOW  REMEMBER  THIS  IS  HOLLYWOOD;  THEY  DO  NOT  TAKE  A  PUBLIC  VOTE  FROM  PEOPLE,  THEN  KEEP  IT  A  SECRET  UNTIL  OSCAR  NIGHT  TO  TELL  YOU  HOW  THE  PUBLIC  VOTED.

SO  SOMETIMES  THEY  GET  IT  RIGHT  IN  SOME  PLACES  AND  GET  IT  WRONG IN  OTHER  PLACES.

I  FULLY  AGREE  WITH  WHO  SHOULD  HAVE  GOT  THE  "BEST  ACTOR"  -  EDIE REDMAYNE......  JUST  A  FABULOUS  ACTING  JOB  AS  STEPHEN  HAWKING  IN  "THE   THEORY  OF  EVERYTHING."  THAT'S   HIM  ON  THE  RIGHT  OF  THE  PICTURE.

AS  FOR  THE  BEST  PICTURE......  WAY  WAY  OFF..... "BIRD  MAN"  YOU  HAVE  TO  BE  JOKING;  I  MEAN  THAT  IS  THE  BIGGEST  JOKE  AND  POLITICAL  WHATEVER  IN  A  LONG  TIME;  BEHIND  THE  SCENE  POLITICS  OF  HOLLYWOOD  WAS  OBVIOUSLY  BUZZING  LIKE  A  BEE  HIVE.

MY  VIEW..... PROBABLY  SHOULD  HAVE  GONE  TO  "THE  THEORY  OF  EVERYTHING"..... BEST  ACTOR  AND  BEST  PICTURE;  MAY  HAVE  BEEN  SOME  OTHER  CLOSE  CONTENDERS  FOR  BEST  PICTURE,  BUT  "BIRD  MAN"  SHOULD NEVER  HAVE  BEEN  IN  THE  PICTURE  AT  ALL  -  PUN  INTENDED -  SHOULD  HAVE  FLOWN  AWAY  TO  PLACES  UNKOWN  -  ANOTHER  PUN  INTENDED.

Eddie Redmayne
