The Lucky One - movie
Just seen the movie "The Lucky One' - very nice love story.
Yes touching in many ways.
Zac Efron is one of my favorite young actors.
Teens and adults, should like this movie if you like a love drama, that I guess could really happen.
A nice change from the science fiction and all those special "effects" they have, though I have enjoyed the recent science fiction movies, but it is nice to have a complete change with a good love drama movie.

New Format it seems
Today it seems the "blog" people have introduced a new format kinda.
I had to go to "options" and click on "press enter" to get line breaks.
So with that I'll see it this comes through the way I want it.
..........
Ya that worked! :-)

Book of Colossians
I'm going through at present the book of Colossians on my youtube (1horsesrcool)
Chapter two is a very important chapter, as it is the chapter that has been twisted and NOT understood correctly by the many theology guys/gals - even those with PhD after their name.
The Christian theology of the world is mostly very bad on the basics of law and grace and salvation. They are as Paul wrote, "Ever learning (Paul had tongue in cheek) but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth."
Christian Theology today is a miss-noma for most will not read the Gospels and simply follow Christ....they follow man-made traditions that have come through the Roman Catholic church.
If you want the truth of the matter, on Bible topics, you need to go to my website - keithhunt.com and find the answers in your Bible.
Paul also said once "the simplicity that is in Christ" - and it is indeed so - read the Gospels, see what Jesus taught, and how He lived and the customs He observed, and he never did one animal sacrifice.
Peter was also inspired to say Jesus set us an example who did no sin. Yes look that up in the epistles of Peter.
The Bible defines sin - 1 John 3:4 and Romans chapter 7. The Bible defines itself, one of the most important keys to Bible understanding.

"Mr.Guitar" - Bert Weedon dies
Yes, for most of you in the USA, this was REALLY the "Mr.Guitar" man - forget about Les Paul, Chet Akins, Roy Clark, Eric Clapton, ACDC, and ALL the other guitar players, BERT was the most versatile guitar player this world has ever known.
He was the FIRST Super-star rock'n roll guitar player. He played just about anything right down to smooth love songs to classical. He made the guitar sing with his love songs.
But to the SHAME of the USA they never heard of him, never played his music, and was never mentioned in any of the USA "guitar personality" books I've seen over the last two decades.
SHAME ON YOU USA....SHAME ON YOU. BUT NOW BERT IS ON YOUTUBE AND ON MY YOUTUBE - 1horsesrcool
NOW THE WORLD CAN HEAR BERT PLAY....GOOD FOR YOUTUBE.
Bert died April 20th 2012 - he was 91. Born the same year as my Dad - 1920. My Dad is still alive. Bert had a long life and a wonderful career.
He was the ONLY guitarist to have his own weekly TV show, that ran for 5 years. Now you have to be some magic versatile guitar player to be given a TV show.....yes mighty talented and just a real nice guy.
Yes now you can type in BERT WEEDON on your search engines and you can read about him.

Multi-tasking/Tech. addiction
A very interesting documentary I've just watched on cbc.ca/doczone
You think MULTI-tasking is a fact, especially if you are a female.
You have it dead wrong, and DEAD is what can happen to you if you falsely think you are a good multi-task person.
Then there is the addict to Technology.... like Computer games and whatever else gets you sitting in front of that screen, for hours and hours and more hours. We are raising a generation of "technology geeks" who do not know how to make a conversation, look someone in the eye and simply talk. How to actually write or print with a pencil or pen. And with it all far too many who can not concentrate but for a few minutes.
We are in danger of learning how NOT to think or express ourselves.
We are in danger of learning how NOT to think for ourselves, or that it is way too much work to have to solve things. Hence to put it in the context of the Bible person.... how not to be able to study, research, put Scripture with Scripture, collect all the verses on a particular Bible topic. In other words "be lazy" in learning how not to be lazy in our mind.
Yes modern technology can be helpful, IF you know how to use it in a wise way, otherwise it can be your down-fall and even a drug, yes becoming an addict to modern technology.
Parents - you have a great responsibility to guide your children in the correct use of modern technology, and how much of it is used, and for how long. Make sure your child is not addicted to the cell phone, texting, computer games, facebooking, and whatever else may come along with modern technology. For such today can be a blessing or a curse.

India's rocket - Secret Service shame
North Korea failed to send a rocket into space but INDIA sure did not; they have sent a rocket that can go 3,000 miles successfully launched today.
......
The USA Secret Service "sex scandal" continues to some resigning and still others that probably will....I mean you talk about STUPID, RASH, IRRESPONSIBLE, guys that were part of the USA "secret service" - a very LARGE embarrassment to the Government of the USA.
......
Warm weather toasting the USA......record breaking records in the USA, and so they say it could be for most of the United States an oven inside an oven of a summer.
......
Some guy of some band (a drummer singer...well not sure if I should call him "singing") in the USA, died today.....Helm was his name ... NEVER HEARD OF THE FELLOW. Give me a break.....rock bands are a dime a dozen, and most of them aren't worth a dime. And this guy gets on ABC National news.....you have to be joking. Give me a break.
Now Dick Clark I do know of and he just died also. But being on TV as much as Dick Clark was I
guess a fellow would know of him.
......
Some Roman Catholic Bishop likens Obama to Hitler and Stalin.......well that is a little off the wall, but it's to do with abortion and birth-control. Abortion is a sin and a horrible fact of life (death really) for any President to have hang over him while in the White House. The birth-control bit is to do with some law that would say an employer is to be provide in a health deal with their employees birth-control pills or whatever. And for a Christian company .... yes such would have a problem providing birth-control pills etc. It would of course be saying I sanction your adultery or fornication life style.
We here in Canada don't even have that law (well as yet) but we do have the law of National "same sex marriage" with legal rights as "normal" married men and women. And we do have the law of NO DEATH SENTENCE, even for serial killers, child killers, cop killers .... ya we tax payers feed them for 25 years, that is our life sentence up here, so it isn't even for life.
As Jesus said, in the last days, EVIL will abound.... (Matt.24) and some of our laws are evil.
Yep we're heading under water to the scum at the bottom of the barrel.

Life of Sir Winston Churchill
I'm close to finishing uploading a short book on the life of Sir Winston Churchill, under the heading "miscellaneous" on my website.
I HOPE YOU WILL READ IT.
MR. CHURCHILL was an EXTRA-ORDINARY MAN. HE HAD MANY NATURAL TALENTS FROM PAINTING, TO WRITING, TO BRICKWORK, TO ORATORY, TO HUMOR AND WIT.
HE HAD A WAY OF INSPIRING, AND THOSE WHO MANAGED TO ENDURE THROUGH HIS FOIBLS AND LONG OURS OF WORK, NOT ONLY RESPECTED HIM BUT GENUINELY LOVED HIM.
AS ON OLD MAN HE SAW AND APPRECIATED BEAUTY. HE WAS HAPPILY MARRIED TO HIS DEAR WIFE, BUT WAS DELIGHTED TO HAVE FOR ONE LUNCHEON (ALONG WITH OTHER PARLIAMENT WHO-EVERS) MARILYN MONROE ON HIS RIGHT HAND SIDE. HE WOULD NOW AND AGAIN LOOK AT HER AND SAY, "OH MY DEAR YOU ARE SO BEAUTIFUL."
Maybe Winston knew what in many ways was a tragic childhood Marilyn had; maybe he realized she was fighting a hard personal battle, with her mother being mentally ill; maybe he knew Marilyn wanted so much to be free from Hollywood making her into a "sex godess." Maybe Winston was trying in his way to support her, while still realizing she was most beautiful. And Winston probably knew Marilyn was a truly kind and gentle natured person to people and to animals, and that was also a part of her beauty; Winston probably knew Marilyn was often treated by others in an unkind way and selfish way by many. Winston always appreciated and was kind to his female staff, and that was one reason he was so dearly loved by them. Winston was a soft-hearted soul. He was an emotional man - emotional against Hitler in a tough way, then it is recorded that when the troops would march in line passed him, tears would roll down his cheeks, for the sacrifice they were
willing to do to beat the Hitler monster.
IT IS ALSO SAID THAT HITLER FEARED NO MAN.....BUT.....ONLY....WINSTON CHURCHILL. IT TURNED OUT HE INDEED NEEDED TO FEAR HIM.
IN MY MIND AND TO MY ESTIMATION, THOUGH THERE WERE SOME GREAT MEN OF THE 20TH CENTURY, WINSTON CHURCHILL WAS THE GREATEST OF THEM ALL.
THE BRITISH COMMONWEALTH AND THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA WERE NOT TO BE DEFEATED IN THE SECOND SWORD BLOW TO BE RAISED AGAINST THEM. GOD WOULD HAVE A MAN TO INSPIRE AND LEAD THEM AGAINST THE MOST BRUTAL WAR MACHINE TO RISE ON THIS EARTH - HITLER AND THE NAZIS. THE MAN OF THE HOUR WOULD BE WINSTON CHURCHILL.
THE NEXT TIME AROUND, AND THE FINAL THIRD WORLD WAR, THERE WILL BE NO SUCH MAN AS A CHURCHILL, TO LEAD AND DEFEAT TYRANY. ONLY THE COMING OF JESUS WILL PUT AN END TO THE BARBARIC DEMON INFLUENCED KILLING OF MANKIND.
WINSTON CHURCHILL WAS USED BY GOD TO TELL THE WESTERN WORLD OF THE COMING OF THE EVIL OF HITLER AND HIS WAR MACHINE. THEY PAID NO ATTENTION TO HIM TILL IT WAS TOO LATE. THEN THE ETERNAL USED CHURCHILL TO RALLY THE TROOPS AND DEFEAT HITLER AND THE NAZIS.
THERE WILL BE NO CHURCHILL NEXT TIME, BUT THE PEOPLE WILL BE WARNED. "BEHOLD YOU AMONG THE HEATHEN, AND REGARD, AND WONDER MARVELLOUSLY: FOR I WILL WORK A WORK IN YOUR DAYS, WHICH YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE, THOUGH IT BE TOLD YOU" (HABAKKUK 1:5).
LAST TIME IT WAS A SECULAR MAN THAT WORKED A WORK THAT WAS UNREGARDED TILL DESTRUCTION RAINED DOWN. NOW IT WILL BE GOD'S WORD BROADCAST ALOUD, BUT WHICH WILL NOT BE BELIEVED, BUT IT WILL BE TOLD TO THE WORLD.
TAKE THE TIME TO BE INSPIRED BY THE LIFE OF SIR WINSTON CHURCHILL. IT'S A SHORT BUT TO THE POINT BOOK, EASY TO READ. IT'S UNDER "MISCELLANEOUS" ON MY WEBSITE.

The COW industry
Mercola.com today has the HORRIBLE truth about part of the milk cow industry.
It is SICK what do we to produce certain food and drink for human consumption.
SICK is indeed the word, for out of it all maybe it is part of our sick Western world that is caused by our sick practices in the cow (milk and beef) industry that helps along our physical sicknesses.
Also the amount of caffeine we consume in out daily diet (coffee, teas, pops) is WAY too much. What most of us do not realize is that caffeine is put into more things than we ever realize.
It is the same for the "sugar" business - put into more things than we realize to get us hooked onto foods we eat too much of.
It is all a diabolical plan to make us drugged onto foods and drinks we should be eating less of and should not contain sugars and caffein.
We live in a Western world that is far too much driven by the greedy dollar so the heads of these companies can live in million dollar mansions and drive the expensive cars and have homes here and there, while they play the expensive game of golf.

Did Jesus try to SAVE the world?
In some parts of Christian theology, we have the teaching that Christians must try to save the world; get out there; get out there; get to the lost souls for if we do not they are off to hell-fire, or if you are Roman Catholic, you may say they are off to purgatory. And at least a purgatory chance to "get to heaven from there" is better than no chance at all, as many Protestants teach.
I have just finished listening to a presentation of the "Faith of the Canaanite woman" in Matthew 15:21-28 and Mark 7. It is one of the course studies put out by "Great Courses."
The lady presenting these series of studies of New Testament figures, has given a most interesting half hour study on this part of Jesus' ministry. She talked about it being on face value something that does not seem to flatter Jesus, and she discusses all the various interpretations by "church fathers" down through the centuries, to explain with a "softer" understanding of this incident.
Some give shades of Greek word meaning to give Jesus a softer approach; some parable type meanings; and some just various human reasoning meanings - just about everything to try and "soften" Jesus' somewhat blunt talk to this lady, whom he ignored or just would not help.
The lady presenter of this lecture comes back to state that although all these explanations may have a little merit in them, there really is no need to explain it in any other way that what is plainly stated.
Jesus told the lady who came to Him for help, that He really was not sent to serve Gentiles but the lost sheep of the House of Israel - yes a nationalistic service He was doing. This lady them came and worshipped before His feet. The lady just was not going to give up that easily, even to the point of getting in front of Jesus' feet. Christ would certainly know she was there and He had to walk around her if He wanted nothing to do with her. She asked again for help for her daughter who had a demon bothering her. Jesus says, "It is not fitting to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs." Not a very flattering way to say "no." There is no need to give fancy explanations on the word "dogs" for it was a commonly used expression even by Gentiles of the time. A dog can be any dog, but can be a nice household dog. The main thing Jesus was saying is that "children" of the Master come first.....the lost sheep of the House of Israel, and everyone else is later.....the children come first. And so Jesus is telling us that He was NOT trying to serve or help or "save" the world.
Now the lady was still not going to give up that easily. With some fine wisdom, she takes the children/dog analogy and turns it back to Jesus....."I understand Lord, but the dogs eat the crumbs which fall from the master's table." You see the dogs could be very nice household pet dogs. She was not offended.
WOW...WHAT AN ANSWER SHE GAVE! And with that answer of pure wisdom in humility towards THE Master, Jesus said, "O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt." And the healing was done.
BUT THE FACT: JESUS WAS NOT DOING A MINISTRY THAT WAS OUT TO SAVE THE WORLD. There is no talk in the Gospels about Jesus saying, "Now look disciples of mine, we have to get out there and save and save and save just as many far and wide as possible, otherwise they are off to hell-fire."
We see also earlier in Matthew 13 as to why Jesus gave parables - Matthew 13:10-17. And it was so people would NOT understand with their hearts, and be converted, and be healed." Yes there it is in plain language in verse 15.
But on the other hand God inspired Peter to write that God wishes ALL to come to repentance and that none should perish - 2 Peter 3:9.
Then you need to read Romans chapter 9 through to chapter 11. And note some very clear verses, that mean what they say and say what they mean.
The Eternal God is working out a PLAN of salvation on this earth with ALL humans that have ever lived or been conceived.
You need to go to my website and study the study called "The Great White Throne Judgment" and learn the basic outline of God's plan of salvation for everyone, past, present, and future.

North Korea BLOWUP!
So for the third time the vain pompous North Koreans tried to send a rocket into space.
Their aim was off and the rocket blew up and fell into the sea.
Not to worry or be concerned with North Korea, they are NOT slated by God to be any kind of major player in end time Bible prophecy.
But they will meet the end of their dictatorial communist ideology, and will, with all nations have to submit to the rule of Jesus Christ, when He comes back as a waring King, to put down those who will be destroying the earth at that time. He will come with justice, and righteousness, and with a rod of iron. Then North Korea will KNOW their is an Eternal God whom they will have to acknowledge does live, and is Supreme in the universe.
......
So we have this sling throwing of women who haven't worked outside the home, a jab by some gal from the Democratic Party to Romney's wife.
It is sickening.....politics is dirty and vain and nasty. Can God be in politics as we present it..... I dogmatic say He's NOT!
All women with families WORK!! To imply they have not is crazy. Oh no doubt mud will be thrown more from BOTH sides before the voting day. A sign of the deterioration of the USA nation.
Oh yes a few days later President Obama and his wife did come out in support of Moms that stay at home with their children. Of course any common logic will tell anyone that Moms work very hard to be "stay at home Moms."
Politics .... then whoever gets in, they go to church, but like most church goers, they probably have not a clue about what is in the Bible they carry, and if they do they find it impossible to turn the country back to following the Bible.
......
The next few day could be a HUGE BLAST for the USA with Tornados; last year at this time 350 or so killed and tens of millions in damage. They are predicting it could all happen again.
......

ONE HUNDRED YEARS
If you have been watching the news you'll know what the "One Hundred Years" is all about.
Yes, the mighty unsinkable ship, the one that even God could not sink.....well it SANK!!
It is exactly 100 years to the day (April 14th 1912) that the Titanic went to the bottom of the ocean, and all those lives were lost.
You will not know but I have a connection.....well kinda.....with the history of that event.
Most will not know that Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, was the sea-port town where most of the bodies of the dead (those that died in the sea, frozen to death, and some that surfaced from the Titanic, like two of the band members) came to rest in the grave yard of Halifax. Many have been visiting this grave-yard and Titanic museum (many of the now recovered Titanic memorabilia).
The full sadness as one young lady said to the TV news interviewer while wiping away her tears, "I did not expect to read on a head stone about a mother and her 4 children who died."
You all know the facts; hitting an iceberg; not enough life-boats for all the people.
Many things came into being after Titanic went down. USA/Canadian Ice-berg watching network set up. Enough life-boats to accommodate all passengers and crew.
Oh my "connection" .... not really that kind of connection you may be thinking. I was raised in a town in England called Halifax.
So you have this big cruise ship that set out from Halifax, Nova Scotia and will this day - 14th - be right over the top of the Titanic. Some of the passengers are descendants of some who lost their lives on the Titanic. One lady descendant said "I'll be able to say hello and goodbye at the same time," then wiped the tears away.
I did go back to see the redone 3D movie out recently on the movie Titanic. I had not seen it since it came out 15 years ago. The 3D was nothing exceptional, but the movie was moving, and how they did it all so realistically blows me away.
When I came over to Canada in 1961 at age 18, I had not even heard or read about the Titanic. Never came up (a bad pun) in school. But I did decide to come to Canada by ship. I came in May not April. I still have my original Passport (doesn't look a day older than when issued) - landed as a Canadian immigrant May 23rd 1961.
But my experience of 7 days on the sea, was as smooth as a baby's bottom as they say. The sea for 7 days was as calm and as smooth as a ping-pong table, not a cloud in the sky - sunny and warm for 7 full days. The food was out of this world (and back then I could eat a full good 3 meals a day and not gain an ounce). Oh the ships back then did not have all the many fancy things as they do now. There was a movie theater, but do not remember a swimming pool (if there was I did not use it). There was one band and one dance floor.
Yes, all went well for me, met some nice people on the ship, and on the 3 days train ride from Montreal to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. I arrived in Saskatoon, out West, in hot sunny weather, turned out to be a draught year, in the 90 F all summer long. I felt like I had arrived home - out West, to sing, yodel, play my guitar and ride horses. I had set my goal, was making my way to bring it to pass. I had no idea God had other plans for me. Plans that actually took a long time to come to reality, but all along the way I was learning and being prepared. And at the age of 40 I finally knew what the Lord had decided. The full reality of it all is my website and now my youtube (1horsesrcool).
We never know what life will come our way. For those many on the Titanic they never knew death was coming their way.
So one big lesson for all of us is enjoy each and ever day you are given. Wow come this next Feast of Tabernacles it will be 30 years since I was ordained a minister of Jesus Christ - 30 whole years - how time flies along. If I'm granted another 30 years in the flesh, I'll be 100 years old. But Lord we'd sure like you to come before another 30 years goes by.

Question for the Bible Commentaries
From: The Association of the Covenant People, Burnaby, B.C.
QUESTIONS FOR THE COMMENTARIES:
CONCERNING THE BIRTHRIGHT OF ISRAEL
by Pastor Jory Steven Brooks, CBIA
A Forgotten Birthright
It is truly amazing how easily Bible expositors ignore, or worse
yet distort, one of the most important of the patriarchal
promises: the birthright. The key passage concerning this
birthright is in First Chronicles chapter 5, verses 1 and 2. It
reads: "Now the sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel, (for he
was the firstborn; but, forasmuch as he defiled his father's bed,
his birthright was given unto the sons of Joseph the son of
Israel: and the genealogy is not to be reckoned after the
birthright. For Judah prevailed above his brethren, and of him
came the chief ruler; but the birthright was Joseph's.)"
Why was the genealogy, the sacred line, in this case "not
reckoned after the birthright"? Simply because Reuben had
disqualified himself due to sin (Genesis 35:22). You might assume
that the second-oldest son, Simeon, or the third oldest, Levi,
would then inherit the birthright. (Gen.39:33-34) Yet that was
not to be, again on account of sin, for we read Jacob's
pronouncement that "Simeon and Levi are brethren; instruments of
cruelty are in their habitations." (Gen.49:5).
Some commentaries imply that Judah, the fourth in line, then
inherited the birthright. Bar nes Commentary, in contrast,
correctly observes that the "birthright ...the right of the
firstborn to a double inheritance (Deut.21:17) was conferred on
Joseph, both by the expressed will of Jacob (Gen. 48:22) and in
the actual partition of Canaan (Josh.16:17)." In other words,
Joseph's birthright was not given to Judah, but to Joseph, as
verified by its fulfillment in Biblical history. However, what
none of the commentaries mention is that this birthright
realization continued on through time down the centuries to our
own day. We know this because the birthright was a key part of
the unconditional Patriarchal Covenants, which have never been
abolished, having been based upon Abraham's prior faith alone.
It is interesting to see the commentaries also gloss over another
important point. Barnes says, "...the birthright, as respecting
its material privileges, passed to Joseph..." We should therefore
be able to find the descendants of Joseph by identifying the
people who retain the greatest blessings of "material privileges"
in the world today. God does not make a promise and then only
fulfill it half-way! Deuteronomy 28:13 foretold, "And the LORD
shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be
above only, and thou shalt not be beneath..." The people who were
to be "the head and not the tail" must truly have been revealed
in history as the head of the nations in material (and Spiritual)
blessings.
Barnes further states concerning the birth right, "its other
rights, those of dignity and pre-eminence, fell to Judah; of whom
came the chief ruler, an allusion especially to David, though it
may reach further, and include a glance at the Messiah, the true
'Ruler' of Israel (Micah 5:2)." Christian commentaries rightly
see the "Messianic" importance of Judah's line bringing forth the
"chief ruler" Jesus, but ignore the fact that the birthright with
its material privileges remained with the line of Joseph, his
sons Ephraim-Manasseh, and their descendants. This birthright has
never been voided, passed away, or given away! How has it been
implemented in our world today? This is an important question
that is totally ignored by the commentaries.
The eighteenth-century theologian, John Wesley, had this to say
concerning Joseph and Judah: "the order of their genealogy was
not to be ruled by the birthright, but by an higher privilege,
which was given to Judah." Really? Is the "rulership" a higher
privilege than the birthright? Or are they both important in the
plan of God? If "higher" in imporbirthright unimporextinct? There
is little among theologians to the fulfillment of the
one is truly tance, is the tant or interest explore
birthright promise, as if it did not extend beyond Joseph's
immediate sons and their land grant in Canaan. Even centuries
later in the Assyrian exile, wherever Joseph's descendants went,
God had ordained that the unconditional Abrahamic covenant and
its attendant patriarchal promises would continue unabated.
The Preacher's Commentary makes a very important admission:
"There is a stress on geography because in the Old Testament it
is part of theology! The basic theology of the Old Testament is a
triangle with three points: God, Israel, and the land... They
[the House of Israel] suffered a crushing defeat at the hands of
the Assyrian army, actually in 734 B.C.. They lost the land and,
attests the Chronicler, they have never come back." This is all
very true! In fact, this commentary has substantiated what may be
considered the bed-rock of the British-Israel message. The
Abrahamic Covenant included the promise of land, yet the bulk of
God's people from all twelve tribes were exiled from Canaan and
"they have never come back." So where are they today? Where is
the land that was promised? The commentaries claim that there was
a "hiatus," gap or break of nearly two millennia in the efficacy
of the Abrahamic Covenant, but how can that be if it was
"unconditional?"
The Pulpit Commentary, in sad contrast, makes a rather strange
claim. They state, "Joseph had really the birthright... but
everything yielded to the special call for precedence on the part
of Judah." In other words, Joseph "really" had the birthright,
but they "really" did not, because "everything" was given to
Judah! Are we therefore to assume either that Judah obtained
possession of the birthright, or that the birthright no longer
figured in God's plan and purpose? Both assumptions would be
wrong! Nowhere does the Bible state that the birthright was
cancelled or that Judah inherited "everything."
The same commentary continues, "the superior honour and privilege
had been previously conferred on Judah. This tribe had the
pre-eminence over all the tribes, not on account of Judah
himself, but because Christ, 'the chief Ruler', was to come out
of it." While it is certainly true that the Messiah came from the
tribe of Judah, this same Christ made a startling pronouncement
to the Judeans that "The kingdom of God shall be taken from you,
and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof."
(Matthew 21:43) Since "fruits" is the meaning of the Hebrew word,
"Ephraim," it would seem obvious that anything Judah had previ-
ously obtained was at that point returned to the line of
JosephEphraim.
In contrast to such "Judah inherited everything" rhetoric,
Matthew Henry's Commentary correctly observes, "Joseph had the
double portion ... But Judah had the dominion ... Of him came the
chief ruler, David first, and, in the fulness of time, Messiah
the Prince (Micah 5:2). This honour was secured to Judah, though
the birthright was Joseph's; and, having this, he needed not envy
Joseph the double portion." Yes, from Judah came the Messiah, but
the birthright remained Joseph's. This fact is wellillustrated in
the title of the classic 1901 B.I. book, "Judah's Sceptre and
Joseph's Birthright" by J.H. Allen, available from CBIA's online
bookshop. God had a double plan that involved the lineage of the
two leading tribes of Israel, Judah and EphraimIsrael. It is sad
to say, but by eliminating Joseph and his birthright, modern
theologians are in effect chopping off half of God's plans and
purposes for Israel and the world.
The commentators may indeed be "half-blind" in their reasoning,
but God's purposes stand wholly sure. "Wherefore the rather,
brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure:
for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall." (2 Pe 1:10) Let
us confirm our place in that Divine Plan by making our calling
and election sure!
..........
Note:
The eternal God is true to His word amd to His covenants. The Birthright blessing was given eventually to Joseph. The prophecies in the book of Genesis have come to pass RIGHT BEFORE YOUR EYES !! The promises that Joseph would become a Nations and Compamy of Nations, and inherit the physical blessing of the earth, has indeed come to fruition. Last Day of UB Feast
We have come once more to the last day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread.
A study that I am still uploading you might find a good study for this UB holy day Feast, is under "Salvation Law and Grace" and it is a study of the important things regards salvation. I have called it "From the mind of a Christian Jew."
Basically very good insight to the true foundations of the Christian faith.
All nations have become drunk on the spiritual wine (teaching) and spiritual fornication, of the great Mother church of Christendom - the Babylon Mystery Religion that is the Papacy - the Roman Catholic church with its Pope. She is the one who has adopted MANY things from the pagan world of Babylon and Rome. And the world and nations that do not even call themselves "Christian" observe things like January 1st, the start of the new year for the world as a whole. And where did we get such a crazy idea as starting the day in the middle of the night - 12 midnight - from pagan Rome. And the commercial aspect of Christ-mass is carried over into most nations of the world. And Christ-mass was adopted from pagan nations - Jesus is known to have been born no where near the 25th of December.
As for Easter, well just look in the Catholic Encycolpedia under "Quartodecim Controversy" Search out on the Internet about "Halloween" and see what that's all about - many churches think it's fun for their kids to observe it.
Yes the Christian Babylon the Great church was to eventually get the world drunk on her spiritual fornication and mysteries.
YOU are living in that time when prophecy is marching on to the close of this age. Oh yes evil is still much more to abound and the love of many to wax cold. As the saying goes "You ain't seem nothing yet."
I've expounded for you all the prophetic books of the Bible on my website. You CAN know how it will all play out in the last 42 months of this age, and what you need to look for that will tell us we are very very close to when those 42 months will bring.
May you enjoy and be blessed on this last holy day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread for 2012.

MY Website down at times
Yes my server now and again goes down.
They have been down for nearly two days, but I believe my website is accessible once more.
This seems to happen ONCE or TWICE a year with them; maintenance or whatever they need to do for
a large server as they are. Usually it's during the night, but this time I guess it was a large undertaking they were doing.

Sony - down and maybe out!
The famous Sony Company has been loosing BILLIONS, yes with a "b" for 4 years now.
10,000 jobs are going to be cut.
Those in charge of Sony are within hours having to make some huge decisions, IF the Company is to survive. And not only Sony is in trouble, but Sharp and Panasonic.
It is the Apple TV and Samsung TV that most are buying.
So some decades famous names are more and more looking like they will be history IF some fancy ideas to revitalize them are not forth-coming.
......
Can you also believe, but they say GOOGLE is also in trouble. And the once domination of access to the Internet for Google, is changing, as technology changes. Google have lost a lot of advertisers lately, hence the money is no there like it was.
......
Facebook is still a mighty power with over 800 Million using it to communicate with friends etc.
......

WHO do you follow?
I'm asking this question during the Feast of Unleavened Bread 2012.
It is a time to examine....ourselves....and our ideas.
There are MILLIONS of people around the world who belong to the Seventh Day Adventist church.
A MAJORITY of them follow the teaching of what they call "God's end time apostle" - one of the leading founding members of the SDA church back in the middle 19th century or so. It is claimed she had "visions" from God and was "inspired" by God. Ellen White was her name. She wrote 50 plus books. Many things in them are good, hence the deception is that much harder to see by millions of SDA people.
The deception is there, but you have to do your homework as the saying goes. You have to be reading the Bible and checking up on the verses used by Ellen White. You have to be doing what the Bareans did with Paul when he came preaching to them - they SEARCHED the Scriptures DAILY to see if those things he taught were according to God's word. Now that takes some time and some effort, which far too many people will not do, especially in this fast living world we are in. Even on the Sabbath, that the Adventists observe, they will not take the time to study if Ellen White taught according to the Scriptures.
It's the old deception of, "Well we have so much truth....we must be fine and okay."
The Roman Catholics in the world are OVER ONE BILLION! Are they checking up in their Bible to see if what the Catholic church teaches, is according to the Scriptures? NOPE, not at all. They say, "We are the true church, look at how many members we have around the world." Or "The Pope is God on earth, so we are, even with sexual sins of the clergy, God's church." Most of the Roman Catholics are quite happy where they are: "Don't rock the boat. Leave me alone." They either do not question or they disagree with some of the church's teaching but they would never think of leaving the Roman Catholic church.
You have tens of THOUSANDS in the world who are "Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints" or using the simple word - Mormons. Now it looks like a Mormon will lead the Republican Party against Obama in the 2012 President election. Oh the Mormons have the Bible BUT they have another book that they hold up as on the same level as the Bible, called "The Book of Mormon." If those young well-dressed two by two men come knocking on your door, they will give you a book of Mormon to go with your Bible. They have the dead Joseph Smith as their "end time apostle." And do they check up to see if Smith and the book of Mormon is in accord with the Bible. Well no, they are quite content go "go along" with all that is the "Mormon religion."
Then there is the Jehovah Witnesses. They are also tens of thousands around the world. Yes they have an end time apostle also - William Russell. And they believe THEY are the end time latter day saints. Do they look to see if their religion is Biblical? Not many if any.
Oh yes, not to forget, there is the tens of thousands, could be a million or two, of "fundamental Christians" who today more and more have fancy services, with glitter and lights, big choirs, or rock-religion bands, and "let's raise the roof" or raise the sound to the rafters. Add to that the "Pentecostal" fundamental groups and you can have a wild party service - just blow your mind with everything.
Do the fundamentals look, search the Scriptures to see if their Christian religion squares with the Bible. Nope, hardly any. They are also just too busy in this fast life of the 21st space-age world.
Hummmm.....then you have many groups, some with thousands, some with hundreds, who have come out of the Worldwide Church of God, under Herbert W. Armstrong. For most of these groups it was HWA that was the end time apostle of God. Oh, join the band-wagon of groups with "end time apostles" that get you pinned against the wall, driven into your mind, brain-washed so deeply in your head that you cannot think for yourself any more.
It's a good time to examine yourself and who you believe. Do you believe God's Word or someone who claims he or she is the spokesperson for God's word? It can be VERY DIFFICULT for many to let go of "personalities" and people they have looked to with "religious fervor" and to go back to just clearing their mind and searching the Scriptures for themselves. We live in a fast world, where it is much easier to let someone else do the thinking for you. I mean it takes time and energy and effort to check up on what people teach and preach; time and effort most will not take the time and effort to do.
So it is that as Jesus said His flock would be the "little flock" and in the Greek it is a double diminutive, meaning "little little flock" or "very little flock." Jesus said His disciples would be the salt of the earth - just sprinkled here and there - not ever very large.
But Jesus would be the head of His church - not a man, nor a board of men, and there would be an open door they would have to proclaim the Gospel around the world. Today that open door is just about FREE - the Internet and Youtube. What an open door, so great that even a relatively small number of the true disciples of the Lord can use to proclaim the truths of God's word.
But yes, you have all kinds of Christian "religious" people on the Internet and Youtube.
So it still comes down to YOU having to do some work - searching the Scriptures, reading the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, soaking it in, looking back and forth, here and there, working on getting ALL Scripture verses on any Bible topic.
Yes it takes some WORK..... but oh how lovely to find the truth of God. And when you have found it, it is like the lady in the parable Jesus gave.....searching and finding that one pearl. Think of it this way, someone tells you there is a gold nugget or diamond somewhere in a three story house, the value of which is more than you'd make in tens years at your job. You have to put some work and effort into finding it, it may take weeks, but you know it is there and you do eventually find it. The THRILL of finding that precious gold nugget or diamond.....well just think about it....yes now you know what the thrill is in finding the truth of God.
You are to have a PERSONAL relationship with the Father and Christ in heaven. That means you are to have a PERSONAL relationship with the Bible.
So yes check up on me, what I teach, what I write, on my website, what I preach on my Youtube.
And the blessing you have today, is that you never have to meet me in person; you never have to write to me unless you want to; you never have to send me any money - do NOT, I do not need it, give it to the poor and needy.
Yes, it is true, the New Testament does teach it, the Church of Jesus Christ still has ministers, teaching and preaching His truth. But you still have to search the Scriptures to find who they are, you still have work you personally must do. Jesus said blessed are those who HUNGER AND THIRST AFTER RIGHTEOUSNESS, for they SHALL be filled.

Reflections from a Cracked Pot
Reflection from a Cracked Pot
by Lisa Smith
Letting His Light shine through the cracks....
For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God's glory displayed in the face of Christ. But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.
2 Corinthians 4:6-7.
We are all cracked pots. We all fall short of the glory of God, and yet we are God's plan for bringing His Good News to all the world. This is totally amazing news to me. We are entrusted with His message and yet we are broken people. This is no surprise to God. He knows each crack, each weakness, every single flaw. Yet if we allow Him access to our brokenness, our cracks if you will, these are the very places in which others will encounter Jesus.
His light shines through the cracks. Has the Lord ever redeemed your brokenness and used it to point someone far away closer to Jesus? Did they see His redemption at work in your life? Did they find a hope as you let His light shine into their darkness?
......
My what a truth is contained in what you have just read. Yes, I'm sure people can look at you and say they remember how many mistakes, error, sins, they saw in you..... how imperfect you were at times. So it is that God takes sinners and brings them to Himself, so His light can shine to others through your cracks of imperfectness. I think an old car bumper sticker went something like: "Be patient with me, God is not through with me yet."
Or maybe you did not see any cracks in yourself. I've just finished going over in the book of Philippians on my Youtube, the section where Paul could boast about his un-crackedness as far as the "standard" of his Pharisee religion he was in - pretty blameless - very high standard indeed he reached in the eyes of "people" he rubbed shoulders with. But on finding Christ, to find Christ, he counted it all but DUNG! He realized he was pretty cracked up. Even when he found Christ, the crackes did not just fanish away. He missed the mark, he had cracks at times ..... oh yes you bet he did. Just read Romans 7. It will gives us encouragement for the times we crack up as we walk along our Christian road, and just as in Paul's case, God can still shine through our cracks to reach other people with the glorious light of the Gospel.
All this should give us courage and inspiration to keep on keeping on, to fight the good fight, and to do the work of the Lord that lies before us.

A Rebellious Generation!!
From "Thy Kingdom Come" - a publication of The Association of the
Covenant People, Burnaby, B.C. Canada.
THE REBELLIOUS GENERATION
by Robert B. MacDormand
We live in the age of rebellion, which is the age that the Lord
will judge. The Bible is clear, that our problem is we have
turned away from God's laws. The solution to the problem of
rebellion is submission to God and to His laws. Submission is the
opposite of rebellion.
There were at least two rebellious generations of Israelites in
the Bible. One was in the time of Moses. Moses said of them, "For
I know thy rebellion, and thy stiff neck: behold, while I am yet
alive with you this day, ye have been rebellious against the
Lord; and how much more after my death?" Deuteronomy 31:27. Some
of them were so rebellious that God cut them off from Israel.
That meant they would not have any hope of eternal life. (Well no
hope in this life time; they were cut off from being called and
chosen - see my study "The Great white Throne Judgment" on my
website - Keith Hunt).
Many years later the prophet Samuel commented on the sin of
rebellion when he rebuked Saul. "For rebellion is as the sin of
witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry." I
Samuel 15:23. This scripture indicates that rebellion leads to
demonization, the influence of evil spirits in the person's life.
Besides the rebellious generation in Moses' time, another
rebellious generation lived in the time of Jesus and the
apostles. That generation accused Jesus of using the power of a
demon to drive out demons. His answer was, "If Satan also be
divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? because ye
say that I cast out devils by Beelzebub. And if I by Beelzebub
cast out devils, by whom do your sons cast them out? therefore
shall they be your judges. But if I with the finger of God cast
out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you." Luke
11:18-20. The Lord also said of them, "This is an evil
generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign be given
it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet." Luke 11:29. Paul and
Barnabas later contended with that generation and said, "It was
necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to
you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy
of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles." Acts 13:46.
The rebels of that generation were therefore cut off from Israel
by God.
Today we have another rebellious generation. They do not believe
the Bible. They are convinced that they were not created, but
evolved. They believe it is okay to kill the unborn. Sexual
intercourse outside of marriage is accepted as normal. Sunday is
their second biggest shopping day of the week. (And the first
biggest shopping day is Saturday - the true Sabbath of the
Eternal God - Keith Hunt). They want to keep Christianity out of
the public schools. They think they are more intelligent than all
the generations that went before them. I believe this is the
generation that will see the return of the Lord. "For, behold,
the Lord will come with fire, and with his chariots like a
whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with
flames of fire. For by fire and by his sword will the Lord plead
with all flesh: and the slain of the Lord shall be many." Isaiah
66:15-16. A generation is forty years in the Bible. I believe
there was a dividing line between generations with the birth of
the Jewish state (represented by the fig tree in scripture). The
generation that was born in the period from 1948 to 1987 would be
the rebellious generation (my generation). They are in control of
things right now and are going to bring judgment on themselves.
Most of them had some connection with church in their younger
years.....
There is still hope for the rebellious generation. The opposite
of rebellion is submission to God and His laws. God has always
set apart those who kept His laws. "Here is the patience of the
saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the
faith of Jesus." Revelation 14:12. As many as follow His way will
have the Lord's protection in the evil time that is upon us.
......
Note:
It is certainly quite possible that this present generation of
those leading the nations of the West, will see the coming Great
Tribulation and Jesus' return. A generation in the West now live
to about 80 years of age, so we still have about 35 to 40 years
to go before the present leadership generation have gone to their
death.
Concerning the Lord's protection: It is written in the prophets,
especailly in the book of Revelation, that some of the true
saints of God in the last 42 months of this age, will face death
in persecution. There is yet to come an end time killing of true
saints of the Lord. It is SOME of the saints who will find
protection in the wilderness from God; yet others it is written
will die for the faith once delivered to the saints. It has
always been this way in times of true Christian persecution. so
it will be at the end of this age.
But I can say this brethren, God will give strength and courage
to those who must give up their lives for the truths of God. And
remember if it is YOU chosen to be a living witness in death, you
will be in good company, for so it was for Paul, and Peter, and
James, and Steven, and many others who have gone before.

The death of Kinkade
Thomas Kinkade has died.
His paintings hang in 10 Million (yes with an M) USA homes and probably millions more around the world.
He said he was connected with "light" - he wanted his painting to reflect light, and he hoped a comforting message to anyone who needed comfort, hope, light.
He became a multi-millionaire through his painting and prints of his work.
The ABC news tonight also put it this way, "He did not paint for art snobs." Wow good for them putting it like that.
That was sure true. His work was skill and art.
A part of the meltdown of this world is what is palmed off as "art" - stuff that a 6 year old could do, and it sells for millions of dollars. It has to be madness, really - a Satanic madness.
I do not know if it is still there, but years ago some Canadian "important" building in the capital of Canada needed some "art" work. The tax payers (through the Canadian Government) bought for thousands upon thousands of dollars a 30 foot wall (maybe 15 feet wide) of half the side white and half the side black. And somehow the Canadian people were told to believe this was "art" - and payed thousands upon thousands of dollars for it. I mean give me a break - they could have hired a painter for 30 dollars an hour to paint the same thing.
It is truly NUTTY and CRAZY and profane as to what some people call "art" and the so-called "artist" gets tens of thousands of dollars for it, even Millions of dollars sometimes.
Thomas Kinkade was a TRUE artist, and I'm glad to report that in one country alone (the USA) there hangs his paintings in 10 MILLION homes.
Well done Thomas .... you did indeed bring some light into so many people's homes. We will miss your painting, but we'll enjoy the ones you gave us.
......

NO MAN IS AN ISLAND
THE EFFECTS OF PRIVATE, "UNSEEN" SIN
by Lew Chuba
Many believe that because their sin does not involve someone else
it is not "hurting" anyone. First and foremost it is hurting the
individual themselves. As Joseph knew, all sin is against God.
"how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?"
(Gen.39:9). To sin we must turn our backs on God. Inversely, to
have fellowship with God we must turn our backs on sin. We cannot
face, or serve both sin and God at the same time. "Know ye not,
that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants
ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obe-
dience unto righteousness?" (Rom.6:16). "No man can serve two
masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or
else he will hold to the one, and despise the other" (Mt.6.24).
Secondly, our personal sin affects those around us as well as our
nation "for Achan... took of the accursed thing, and the anger of
the LORD was kindled against the children of Israel." (Josh.
7.1).
The very fact that sin separates us from God makes us deficient
in our entire being, "your iniquities have separated between you
and your God" (Is.59.2). There are three aspects to our being. We
are composed of spirit, soul and body. As the bible says, "The
wages of sin is death" (Rom.6.23), this refers to spiritual death
or loss of intimate communion with God. Spiritual death creates a
deficit in the two remaining aspects of our being, soul and body.
The Holy Spirit is the soul's clothing before God and man.
Spiritual death lays our soul bare and we become naked. When our
soul becomes naked we, like Adam and Eve are overcome with shame.
Our sense of shame causes us to hide from God and man. "Adam and
his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD" (Gen.
3:8).
It is interesting the first act of the newly enlightened couple
was to try and cover their sin and shame by their own works.
"they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons."
(Gen.3.7). Today as then our own works are still insufficient to
cleanse us from our sin. "Woe to the rebellious children, saith
the LORD... that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit"
(Is.30:1).
We hide from God by keeping our distance from him lest we are
forced to confront our weak and unclean state. We may continue
going to church but our hearts are not before God. "For every one
that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light,
lest his deeds should be reproved." (John 3:20).
As a consequence of our seared conscience true praise will cease
and prayer will decrease and be ineffective. "If I regard
iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear" ( Ps.66.18). The
believer is simply in a state of self deception. We know we are
in sin and God knows we are in sin but we somehow think we can
postpone the inevitable.
The problem with this approach is the longer we wait to confess
our sin the harder our heart and conscience become. "lest any of
you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin." (Heb.3:13). We
may find ourselves overcome with the blackness of sin and unable
to repent. Hopefully our merciful God will break us once again
and restore us to a right relationship with Him.
We hide from man by building walls. We present a fine facade but
imprison ourselves with the very walls we erect to keep others
out. The longer we harbour and hide our sin the more it
compounds.
As we be come immersed deeper and deeper into sin we find the
company we prefer changes. We begin to find we have more in
common and are more comfortable with the sinner than the saint.
We may even find we prefer to associate with greater sinners than
ourselves. We do this to lessen our own sense of guilt by our
comparison with their more excessive, degenerate state. The
dimmer the light of the soul becomes the darker we prefer our
surroundings that we may detect the little light we have left.
Depending on the degree and severity of our sin our body, the
third aspect of our being, may suffer greatly and show the strain
or we may be able to pass ourselves off as healthy. The eminence
and radiance of the Holy Spirit is what gives our body true rest
and a supernatural vitality. So although we may get by physically
with our chosen sin we are not living to the full potential we
were designed for and are more susceptible to sickness and
disease. The one aspect of our physical being which will betray
our fallen state to the discerning eye is "the window to our
soul". "The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye
be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. But if thine
eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness." (Mt.
6.22-23).
The result of the deficiency within the three aspects of our
being is we are not able to be what God meant us to be to and for
those people He has placed in our lives. The division created by
our sin causes us to become "two" rather than the "one" with
our spouse as God intended. "So they are no longer two, but one."
(Mt.19:6)NIV. With our friends we can no longer provide the
support and encouragement they need "Brethren, if a man be
overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one
in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be
tempted." (Gal.6:1). With our children we cannot be the example
they require. Children are affected more by what we do than what
we say. If we have sin in our lives they will see our lack of
sincerity and conviction. When our actions contradict our
confession this is called hypocrisy. "Train up a child in the way
he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart
from it." (Prb.22:6). With the sinner we cannot speak out against
sin because sin has overcome us "While they promise them liberty,
they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man
is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage." (2 Pet.
2:19).
The greatest and saddest effect of our "unseen" sin is that we
can no longer give and receive love as God intends and all suffer
the loss.

Note:
This is entered on my blog during the Feast of Unleavened Bread
2012. It was taken from the March issue of "Thy Kingdom come" but
I purposely entered it now during the Unleavened Bread Feast, as
it is so appropriate for this Spring feast.
It is the time to examine ourselves, to let the Word of God
correct us, show us our sins. It is the special Feast where the
law of God is to be a mirror to look at ourselves, to see
ourselves in the light of God's Law and Word; it is the special
time to not walk away from that mirror and forget what we saw.
Yes this is the time of year we especially need to be humble, to
admit our weaknesses, our wrong thoughts, words, deeds; it is a
time to see where we have missed the mark, fallen short; the time
to again fully realize we are saved by grace, not by all the good
times where we have observed the commandments of God. It is the
time of year we climb down off the ladder of proud righteousness
and admit we are still sinners.
Yes it is the time for humility, but it is also the time we
praise our Father in heaven, and Christ Jesus, for their love,
their kindness, their mercy and grace, in NOT dealing with us as
we deserve. It is the time brethren to be so thankful that our
Father in heaven is so patient with us ..... words fail me, and
fail you ..... we groan within ourselves, to adequately express
our thankfulness for God's grace.
It is the time of year to again deeply remember not only the
death of Christ, His shed blood, on our behalf, but also that
Jesus rose from the dead, by the power of God's Holy Spirit, to
be our living High Priest on the Father's right hand, to
intercede for us, when we miss the mark, when we sin. We are
saved not only by the death of Christ but also by His life
(Rom.5:10).
It is time to read again 1 John chapter one into chapter two, and
maybe the book of Hebrews.
I have also just finished the book of Ephesians on my Youtube
(1horsesrcool) and chapters 5 and 6 are very good chapters to
read during the Feast of Unleavened Bread, maybe read them in
different translations.
It is the time of year to remember many things about our
salvation.

Mercola.com and fitness
Mercola.com has a very interesting article on "fitness" that shows even a little "strenuous" exercise can have great benefits.
Make sure you read it.
I've told you in the past about Mr. "health and strength" guy - Charles Atlas, the first
Mr. Universe type, but not on steroids, so never had those what I think are "ugly" muscles. He was as they said back in the 1940s 50s 60s like a Greek god. And he never used weights to build his muscles. I remember an article in the 1960s (which showed him at 66 years old flexing his muscles on a beach in California) and the article mentioned he was still bending 6 inch spike nails with his bare hands.
Well his health and strength course (which I still have) taught what he called "dynamic tension" - pitting one muscle against another, or pulling one muscle against another.
So from September to end of June (July and August with the kids horse and pony camp) I go swimming twice a week, and swim as fast as I can, get that heart just pumping. But in-between my fast length swims I do some Charles Atlas dynamic tension exercises, some for the back, some for the shoulders and arms, some stretching and tension exercises from Mr. Atlas also. So all that as well as my horse back riding from Spring to Fall (especially in July and August) .... keeps me pretty darn fit.
Well indeed go read Mercola.com on the article of even a few minutes of intense exercise can have great benefits. And yes remember fast intense walking (which I also do 3 or 4 times a week) has great benefits. So make your "fit" exercise time, enjoyable and what you can fit into your life the best.

Notice Psalm 40!!
However long we are reading and studying the Bible there is something always new to find.
What a book....always something new to discover.
Tonight - Passover night - look at Psalm 40. Tonight it hit me right between the eyes. David said he could not lift up his head because his iniquities were MORE THAN THE HAIR ON HIS HEAD.
And I don't think David was bald. Sure it may have been a figure of speech David was using, then whatever age he was at the time, looking back maybe he could have indeed been literally speaking.
The main thing to get out of this is that David will be in the Kingdom of God. He was a man after God's own heart, so it is written in the New Testament. It means that though our sins be many indeed, sometimes like David we don't want to lift our head up. The positive out of all this is that if we have the heart of David, a humble, repentant heart, a mind-set that really does want to serve and obey God, as David wrote about so many times in the Psalms; it means we also can have the mercy and grace of God. It means that we can have a heart that makes us "a man/woman after God's own heart."
The Psalms are so wonderful, because they cover every emotion of our physical life. And they cover so many of the trials of life that come to human beings. They are filled with the absolute positive encouragement that if we remain humble-repentant and love to serve God's commandments (which is the way we love God with all our heart, mind, and life), we shall receive the Father's grace and mercy, that will save us into His Kingdom, just as it saved David.
So whoever you are out there, that has not yet accepted Christ as your personal Savior, you who are maybe holding back because like David you have a head-full of sins, your too many sins you think are too many..... well you've just seen David thought he had a head-full of sins also, but he knew they were not too many for God to wipe away. David found the grace of God. You can also.

The SACRIFICE of the Lord
I'm sitting here on Passover evening/night and reading some of the Psalms leading up to Psalm 51.
David certainly knew the love and mercy of God.
"Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I am in trouble.....My strength fails because of my iniquity..."
Ps.31:9,10.
"Hear, O Lord, and have mercy on me; Lord, be my helper" Ps.30:10.
"But I trust in the Lord. I will be glad and rejoice in Your mercy" Ps.31:6,7.
"You have redeemed me, O Lord God of truth" Ps.31:5.
"O Lord my God, I cried out to You, and You healed me. O Lord, You brought my soul up from the grave.." Ps.30:2,3.
"You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness" Ps.30:11.
"Oh, how great is Your goodness, which You have laid up for those who fear you. Which You have prepared for those who trust you" Ps.31:19.
"Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered" Ps.32:1.
"I acknowledged my sin to You, and my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, 'I will confess my transgression to the Lord,' and You forgave the iniquity of my sin" Ps.32.:5.
"But he who trusts in the LOrd, mercy shall surround him" Ps.32:10.
"Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, on those who hope in His mercy, to deliver their soul from death" Ps.33:18,19.
"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart. And saves such as have a contrite spirit" Ps.34:18.
"The Lord redeems the soul of His servants, and none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned" Ps.34:22.
"I shall rejoice in His salvation" Ps.35:9.
"My hope is in You. Deliver me from my transgressions" Ps.39:7,8.
"My iniquities have overtaken me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of my head; therefore my heart fails me....But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinks upon me. You are my help and my deliverer" Ps.40:12,17.
"I said, 'Lord, be merciful to me; heal my soul, for I have sinned against You'" Ps.41:4.
AND THEN PSALM 51
"According to the multitude of Your tender mercies, blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.....Hide Your face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me" Ps 51:1,2,9,10.
God is MERCIFUL to those who are humble, contrite, and acknowledge they are sinners.
Yet sin has a penalty that must be paid. God's law cannot be abolished, and it indeed defines what is sin as we see from 1 John 3:4 and Romans 7.
And so it was from the beginning, before the foundation of this earth, decided that a member of the Godhead would come to earth, be born of a woman, be made flesh and blood, be the Emanuel - God with us. And so it came to pass that Jesus the Messiah came to take captive what held us captive. He took sin and death captive so to speak - made it useless to kill us. And so as it was written, so it came to pass - Isaiah 53.
"He was despised and rejected by men.....But He was wounded for out transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities.....the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and He was afflicted, yet He opened not His mouth. He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so He opened not His mouth....For He was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgression of My people He was stricken....When You make His soul an offering for sin....for He shall bear their iniquities....because He poured out His life unto death....and He bore the sin of many..." Parts of Isaiah 53.
Truly we all at times feel like the apostle Paul, in Romans 7, who said, "O wretched man that I am who shall deliver me from the body of this death. I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord..."
It is through Jesus the Messiah we are saved. It is by grace we are saved, not of works. A thousand good works cannot ever erase a sin. God the Father never planned that good works would erase sin. It was Jesus, a member of the Godhead, who was to come and conquer sin in the flesh, as a physical human of flesh and bone and blood.
Remember this night, the night Jesus was betrayed, the night He introduced the New Covenant Passover - bread and the fruit of the vine, to represent His broken body and shed blood for our sins.
PRAISE Him brethren; He is our victory. He died for our sins, but He did not remain dead; He was raised to immortal life, the first born from the dead, the first human to ever gain eternal life. He is a LIVING Savior. We are saved not only by the death of Christ but also by His life (Romans 5:10) - an interceding High Priest and His life and death and shed blood, can be applied to us at all times, when we remain humble and have our mind-set as shown to us by the apostle Paul in Romans 7. Read that chapter and be encouraged. The humble contrite, desiring to serve the law of God, mind-set, as Paul had, means we have victory in Christ.
When it is all done, when we are in the Kingdom of God, it will not be because of our however-many good works; it will be because we are saved by grace, forgiveness through Jesus the Christ.
..........

Passover night !
In a very short while it will be sunset here in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and it will be the night to be much observed. Yes Passover night is the night to be much observed. The proof of that you can find on my website under the section on God's Sabbath and Festivals.
Many of the brethren in India and that part of the world and Europe, Britain have already partaken of the Passover.
We out West and right to the West coast of North America are pretty well the last to observe Passover.
For all of you who have observed this very special night, I trust is was a mighty blessing to you.
The Passover is a Feast of the Lord, but it is not a holy day, and though we partake of unleavened bread for the Passover service, the 14th of the First month is NOT a day of unleavened bread. Starting the evening of the 15th starts the 7 day Feast of Unleavened Bread.
My website is full of studies about the Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread.
We are entering the days of contemplation of sin and righteousness. Yes we focus our attention of WHY a member of the very Godhead (Christ Jesus) needed to come to earth to die for us sinners. We praise Him for His love towards us, to make it possible to enter the very Family of God, to be the literal children of the Father. We praise both the Father and the Son for their love; wanting to share what they have with us for all eternity. If you've never done so, go to my website and study the study called, "A Christian's Destiny." It will bend your mind as to what God's word teaches us on that subject.
Yes it's that time of the year when we go over and meditate on such sections of Scripture as Romans chapter 1 to 8; Isaiah 53; Psalm 119; 1 John; Matthew 14 through to 28; Psalm 51; Exodus 20; and right now I have come to Ephesians 5 on my Youtube (1horsesrcool) and very timely it is for the Feast of Unleavened Bread.
It is brethren a time, 8 days in all, to Feast of the Word of God. Make a special effort to do so, with the subject of sin and righteousness in the foreground of your studies. Certainly I have MUCH on my website regarding sin and righteousness, studies on being saved by grace, repentance, saving faith, water baptism, and all kinds of studies on Christian living in general.
May you all have a wonderful and very blessed Passover and Feast of Unleavened Bread.

Fort Worth/Dallas blasted with Tornados !!
If you saw the film clips on TV news you saw those 16/18 Wheelers tossed around like
toy trucks - they say un-loaded they weigh 7 tons.
Miraculously not one person was killed, or even seriously injured.
And it was fortunate the tornados did not hit down town Dallas.
Well it looks like we will be saying 2012 was a super bad year for tornados, in the USA.

PASSOVER this Thursday evening !!
AN EVENING PRAYER
by Maude Battersby
If I have wounded any soul today,
If I have caused one foot to go astray,
If I have walked in my own willful way,
Dear Lord, forgive!
If I have uttered idle words or vain,
If I have turned aside from want or pain,
Lest I myself shall suffer through the strain,
Dear Lord, forgive!
If I have been perverse or hard, or cold,
If I have longed for shelter in Thy fold,
When Thou hast given me some fort to hold,
Dear Lord, forgive!
Forgive the sins I have confessed to Thee;
Forgive the secret sins I do not see;
O guide me, love me and my keeper be,
Dear Lord, Amen
......
IT IS VERY SOON PASSOVER EVENING - THIS YEAR
THURSDAY EVENING - APRIL 5TH
PAUL WAS INSPIRED TO SAY WE SHOULD EXAMINE OURSELF,
THEN PARTAKE.
I THINK AS WE DO THIS WE SHALL SEE WHY WE ARE SAVED BY GRACE.
WE WANT, WE TRY, TO OBEY GOD, TO KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS,
YET IN THOUGHT, WORD, DEED, WE ARE LIKE PAUL IN ROMANS
7 - THE THINGS WE SHOULD DO WE DO NOT, AND THE THINGS WE SHOULD
NOT DO, WE OFTEN DO. I DOUBT WE HAVE ANY JOB PEOPLE OUT THERE,
OR NOAH, OR DANIEL, HELD UP BY GOD IN THE BOOK OF EZEKIEL AS
PROBABLY THE THREE MOST RIGHTOUS PEOPLE, IN THE OLD TESTAMENT.
TRULY WE ARE SAVED BY GRACE, AND NOW IS THE TIME TO MEDITATE
UPON THAT FACT AS WE COME TO THIS PASSOVER AND FEAST OF UNLEAVNED
BREAD.
MAYBE YOU'D LIKE TO STUDY MY STUDIES ON MY WEBSITE CALLED:
"SAVED BY GRACE" - "PASSOVER IS FOR ALL PEOPLE" AND "HUMILITY -
THE PRECIOUS GEM OF THE CHRISTIAN CROWN."
YES THIS IS THE SEASON TO REFLECT ON OUR WEAKNESS OF THE FLESH,
WHERE WE HAVE MISSED THE MARK, BUT ALSO ON THE GREAT LOVE AND
MERCY, THE GRACE OF GOD, THE LOVE OF CHRIST JESUS, WHO WAS
WILLING TO PUT ASIDE THE GLORY OF THE GODHEAD AND COME TO EARTH
AS A PHYSICAL MAN, FIGHT THE BATTLE OF BEING TEMPTED IN ALL
POINTS AS WE, BUT NEVER SINNING, NO NOT ONCE, SO HE COULD BE
NAILED UP ON THAT STAKE OF WOOD - HAVE HIS BLOOD POURED OUT -
TAKE OUR SINS ON HIMSELF, SO THROUGH HIS SACRIFICE WE COULD
BE FORGIVEN, MADE AT-ONE WITH THE FATHER.
THERE ARE SO MANY SCRIPTURE PASSAGES WE CAN READ - ISAIAH 53;
PHILIPPEANS 2; ROMANS 6-8; THE LAST CHAPTERS OF THE GOSPEL OF
JOHN.
PASSOVER EVENING, WELL PASSOVER NIGHT, IS THE NIGHT TO BE
OBSERVED. IT IS AFTER SUNSET A NIGHT TO STAY UP LATE AND OBSERVE
THAT NIGHT IN SCRIPTURE READING AND MEDITATION AND PRAYER AND
SELF-EXAMINATION. IT IS A GOOD NIGHT TO MAKE SOME NEW YEAR
RESOLUTIONS. YOU CAN MEDITATE ON WHERE, WHAT AREAS OF LIFE
YOU COULD IMPROVE ON. IT IS A NIGHT TO LEAVE THE TV IN THE OFF
MODE, AND JUST ENJOY YOUR TIME WITH GOD AND CHRIST, IN THE
WORD OF GOD, MAYBE A SPECIAL STUDY THAT YOU'VE WANTED TO DO,
BUT JUST HAVEN'T GOT AROUND TO DO IT.
THE PASSOVER IS A FEAST OF THE LORD - SO MAKE IT A SPIRITUAL
FEAST - SET YOUR MIND YOU WILL MAKE IT A NIGHT TO BE OBSERVED.
YOU WILL BE RICHLY BLESSED FOR SO DOING.
REMEMBER THE BRETHREN AROUND THE WORLD - WE HAVE MANY IN INDIA,
WHO ARE SERVING OUR GOD IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH. GOD IS WORKING,
AND MANY NEW ONES ARE GIVING THEMSELVES AND THEIR LIVES TO THE
GOSPEL AND THE KINGDOM OF GOD. I CAN TELL YOU WE HAVE MINISTERS
IN INDIA, NEVER A PART OF THE ORGANIZATIONS MANY OF US CAME OUT
OF, WHO ARE BUSY GIVING OUT THE TRUTHS OF GOD AND FRUIT IS COMING
FORTH. I'M IN CONTACT WITH SOME, THEIR NAMES ARE NOT IMPORTANT,
AS YOU PRAY FOR THEM, GOD KNOWS WHO THEY ARE.
BRETHREN, THE LORD IS WORKING MIGHTILY, JESUS IS STILL HEAD OF
HIS CHURCH, THE WORD AND TRUTHS OF GOD ARE GOING FORTH, AND THEY
ARE NOT RETURNING TO HIM VIOD.
YES, MANY OF US ARE SCATTERED, ONE HERE, AND ONE THERE, A FEW
HERE AND A FEW THERE, A CONGREGATION HERE AND ANOTHER OVER THERE,
LIKE THE SALT OF THE EARTH ARE GOD'S CHILDREN. BUT I CAN TELL YOU
BRETHREN CHRIST'S CHURCH - HIS PEOPLE - ARE STILL OUT THERE AND IN
THEIR WAY PROCLAIMING THE GOOD NEWS OF SALVATION AND THE KINGDOM OF GOD,
THE AGE TO COME.
MAKE THIS PASSOVER NIGHT, THE NIGHT TO BE MUCH OBSERVED, A
BEAUTIFUL AND SPIRITUALLY GLORIOUS NIGHT.

Are YOU Ready?
From "Thy Kingdom Come" - April 2012 - a publication of The
Association of the Covenant People, Burnaby, B.C. Canada.
ARE YOU READY?
by Bob Vermaat
"...prepare to meet thy God, O Israel." (Amos 4:12)
Are you ready, are you really ready? For some of you, that are
familiar with the NFL pregame show, these words should sound
familiar, because they are called out to the audience just before
the start of a football game.
Now, I am not going to talk to you about football, but I am going
to ask you just the same, are you ready, are you really ready?
Are you and I really, really, ready to meet our God as per Amos
4:12? A lot has been said lately about the year 2012 possibly
being a very pivotal year. Both religious and secular sources
have commented on the fact that the Mayan calendar ends this year
and also that in the sixteenth century Nostradamus, a French
astrologer and seer, predicted the world as we know it would end
on Dec. 21, 2012. Even some of our own writers have in times past
bandied around dates in speculation of significant events
pertaining to the imminent return of our Lord, years such as
2011, 2012, 2016, 2020, etc. But Jesus, when asked by His
disciples, after His Resurrection, if He was now going to
establish His Kingdom on earth at that time told them that it was
not for them to know the time or the season. (Acts 1:7)
The same holds true for all of us. We can speculate and surmise
all we want, we can cal culate prophetic times, but the bottom
line is that, also according to Jesus own words in Acts 1:7, that
time is only known to the Father and He will make it happen in
His own time and according to His own pleasure, not a day early,
nor a day late, but precisely as God the Father ordained before
the foundations of the earth, in other words, before time. Great
are the mysteries of God and all that is required of us, His
children, is to watch and wait, to be ready when the time comes,
for He, Christ, will come as a thief in the night. (1 Thes.5:2)
So, all that we as believers can and must do is watch and be
prepared, for we will not receive advance warning other than the
signs in the heavens. "Immediately after the tribulation of those
days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give its
light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of
the heavens shall be shaken. And then shall appear the sign of
the Son of man in heaven;" (Matt 24:29,30).
You see, return of Christ is a sudden event, not a drawn out
process in which we will still have time to set things straight.
Once His signs appear we better be ready, for time will have run
out. A good example is the parable of the ten virgins, who went
out to meet the bridegroom, (Matt.25:1-13). The bridegroom is, of
course, the returning King and Redeemer, Jesus Christ, coming to
claim and setup His Kingdom. The ten virgins on the other hand
depict the ecclesia or church. As we all know a good number of
those believers in today's churches, who claim Christ as their
Saviour, at the best pay lipservice only and possess neither
fortitude nor conviction to stand strong in their faith. Those
are the foolish virgins. They come along for the ride, but have
given no thought to put their house in order and are led to
believe that all that is required is membership to or in some
church or religious organization. They lead the good and
sometimes pious life, but they have no substance. Jesus said, "If
ye love me, keep my commandments. He that hath my commandments,
and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me." (John 14:15,21)
Observe that the Lord correlates love for Him with obedience to
Him. To love Christ means that we care enough for Him to keep His
commandments (v.23-24) but we cannot keep His commandments unless
we search the Scriptures to find out what they are. Sadly, the
only times that the Bible is read is once a week when they happen
to go to church. For the rest of the time that precious book is
only an ornament on the shelves collecting dust.
The wise virgins, on the other hand, came prepared, they brought
extra oil for their lamps, meaning they had done their homework,
they knew what the Scriptures said, they were prepared to wait
for the bridegroom no matter how long that could be, they
believed His promises, they were patient, they were informed,
they were ready. That is the state that the believing remnant is
hoped to be in. We must diligently search and study the
Scriptures to understand what is required of us. "My son, if thou
wilt receive my words, and lay up my commandments with thee, so
that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to
understanding; yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and
liftest up thy voice for understanding; if thou seekest her as
silver, and searchest for her as for hidden treasure; then shalt
thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of
God. For the Lord giveth wisdom; out of his mouth cometh
knowledge and understanding." (Prov.2:1-6) These words of Solomon
are echoed by Christ Himself in Luke 11:9 where Jesus says "Ask
and it shall be given unto you; seek, and ye shall find; knock
and it shall be opened unto you."
So you can see that the answer to being ready is found in
searching the Scriptures and then acting on what we find and
holding on to it until the end. "Prepare to meet thy God, 0
Israel." Amos uses this verse to warn the backsliding Israelites
of the coming of the wrath of God because of their idolatrous
lifestyle and behaviour. I am using it here as a warning for
complacency and neglect. The Lord is not coming to chastise the
Israelites this time, but He is going to leave behind all that
are not ready and waiting for Him. It seems that a lot of
believers have no trouble relating to Jesus the way He came the
first time, as a meek loving Saviour born in a manger, doing good
and healing the infirm and teaching the Gospel of the Kingdom,
but those same believers seem to be unable to get their mind
around the fact that at His second coming Christ will come as a
conquering King, not as a Lamb, but as the Lion of Judah, not as
a mere man, but as God! Do not be fooled, He will not come with
an olive branch to plead with you, but He will come with a sharp
sword, and He will come to rule with a rod of iron. (Rev. 19:15)
So my dear friends, if you have not yet made yourselves ready,
you better start doing so now for the time is short and His
return is imminent.
I like to close this essay with a short prayer and I hope that
you will pray this with me whenever you receive this writing:
Dear Father in Heaven, blessed be Thy name. I pray, 0 God, that
you give me the perseverance and the strength to search out your
Holy Writ in order that I may learn the ways most pleasing to
you, so that I will be made ready to meet you face to face
whether in this life or in the life to come. Thank you, Lord.
Amen.
..........
NOTE:
While I am pleased the writer wants you to be positive towards
God's commandments and searching the Scriptures, and being ready
spiritually. All so important, the main importance of our lives,
for we do not know when it will be out last breath in this life.
But I have to comment on the coming of Christ, for the writer is
obviously not understanding ALL that is written about the event
of the return of Jesus to this earth.
First let's understand this often quoted Scripture of 1 Thes.
5:2. It is the "day of the Lord" being talked about, and that is
not about the actual literal day of Jesus' return, but the
prophetic event of many Bible passages of the prophetic books of
the Old Tesament, and the book of Revelation - the day of God's
wrath. From Matthew 24 and the book of Revelation we can put
together the basic end time, or the last 42 months of this age.
There will be the Great Tribulation, then the "day of the Lord" -
and last the heavenly signs, and the coming of Christ, yes
suddenly, out of the blue, out in the clouds and the blue of the
sky.
The prophecies of your Bible make it very clear that we shall
know when we enter the last 42 months of this age. There will be
an end time resurrection of the Holy Roman Empire in Europe;
there will be a king of the south led by Egypt. This king of the
south will come against the king of the north, and the king of
the north (Europe) will defeat the king of the south, and march
into Jerusalem. The Jews will go into captivity. The Europe Beast
will come against the Western nation who oppose it (especially
the British Commonwealth and the USA) and will win the day.
Europe will rule the Western world. There will be a shout of
"peace, peace" - but then will come the "day of the Lord" which
MOST of the book of Revelation is all about.
From these earth shattering events, and the war between the West
and the East, that would kill every person on earth, if not
stopped by the coming of Christ, we Christians living at that
time will very well know that Jesus' is soon to come. The exact
day we shall not know, but world events will CLEARLY tell us we
are in the the last 42 months or so of this age.
The Maya calendar and Nostradamus have nothing to do with end
time prophecy. I have given the true explantion of the Maya
calendar on my website. And Nostradamus .... well some figured he
gave the year 2000 as the last year, now I guess they are re-
interpreting him to say 2012. And on and on it goes.
2012 has no direct connection with ANY Bible prophecy. 2012 will
be just another year, on the way to end time events. But nothing
extra-ordinary will take place this year. There is MUCH yet to
form in world events before we reach the last 42 months of this
age. Jesus will certainly NOT return before 2015. And the way
worlds events are going, or I should say NOT going in any fast
form, I'm doubting that Jesus will return before 2020, but come
2015 I'll let you know about 2020.
Yes be spiritually ready though, for YOU do not know when it is
YOUR last day, then for you falling asleep in death, the next
moment will be the return of Jesus. In death there is no
recollection of time. One second physical death, the next second,
you are with the angels, guiding you to Jesus in the clouds of
the air.
Prophecy and end times events, death and the resurrection, are
all expounded for you IN DEPTH on my website.

(Rev. 19:15)
So my dear friends, if you have not yet made yourselves ready,
you better start doing so now for the time is short and His
return is imminent.
There will be
an end time resurrection of the Holy Roman Empire in Europe;
there will be a king of the south led by Egypt.

Mirror Mirror/Clash of the Titans - movies
Mirror Mirror movie is a good fun movie. A good family movie.
The young leading lady is so very much like Elizabeth Taylor when Elizabeth was her age it is like a reincarnation of herself. And of course they had to go with the thick eyebrows on her as Elizabeth Taylor had, which I've always thought were terrible. But that young lady is indeed a copy of Elizabeth Taylor.
......
Clash of the Titans - action all the way. And this time the 3D of this movie was pretty good 3D. Not like some that have been to me, very poor.
Yes a very good science fiction, and should be popular.
I'll give two thumbs up on both movies.

LIFESTYLE - change a bit at a time
From "Thy Kingdom Come" - April 2012 - a publication of The
Association of the Covenant People, Burnaby, B.C.
CHANGING YOUR LIFESTYLE A LITTLE AT A TIME
by Rick Coupland
Many people decide they want to live a healthier lifestyle.
However, I think they sometimes make too many drastic changes to
their daily routines, and find the novelty wears off too quickly.
Perhaps "baby steps" is a better approach.
Here are some ideas/suggestions you might want to incorporate "a
little at a time".
First and foremost, practice following God's perfect food laws.
They were given to us as a guide, to know which foods are clean,
and which foods are unclean. Pork is one of the worst things you
could possibly put in your body, and there are many scientific
reports to support this. Avoid all of the "bottom feeders", such
as lobster, shrimp, etc. Build your diet around fruits and
vegetables, raw (or steamed) whenever possible.
I am not a vegetarian; I personally believe all foods mentioned
in Leviticus 11 are meant for our consumption, even today.
However I would urge you to be cautious with your meat selection.
Because of all of the antibiotics and growth hormones fed to
cattle and other livestock, meat may not be a good choice. All of
these unnecessary chemicals are passed on to you when eating that
nice juicy steak. Try and shop for meat advertised as organic,
grass and pasture fed and free of all growth-hormones.
For this very same reason, I would avoid all dairy products also.
(My apologies to all of the hard working dairy farmers across the
land). By the time your milk and butter have gone through
pasteurization, there is very little, if any, good left in them.
Besides, I still feel that cow's milk is for calves (which even
they are weaned off of), not for humans. I gave up drinking cow's
milk 30 years ago.
(I agree and disagree with the author here. First, good raw cow's
milk is high in calcium and protein. The old "health and
strength" man Charles Atlas (of the 1940s,50,60,) gave strong
recommendation to drink raw cow's milk. I was a teen in the 1950s
when I was taking Atlas' course. Back then we had given to us in
the Church of England school I attended, free raw cow's milk -
where the cream settled on the top. I drank at least a pint of this
milk during school days. I had a complexion during my teens, that most girls would envy. Charles Atlas said I would - he was correct.
I did also give up drinking cow's milk for 30 years (unhealthy it
became) until they now have natural goat's milk and organic cow's
milk in the stores today. The subject of "cow's milk" is fully
expounded for us by an expert, under my section of food laws on
my website - Keith Hunt)
A healthy alternative to butter is organic, virgin coconut oil.
Spread it on your toast, melt it into your baked potatoes, you
can even use it as your oil to cook foods in. The list of health
benefits of coconut oil is endless: it strengthens the immune
system, benefits the liver and kidneys, controls blood sugar,
aids our body to absorb minerals, and much, much more. By the
way, coconut oil is also a great skin softener and hair
conditioner.
Raw nuts are very rich in protein and nutrients, and are a good
source of dietary fibre. Nuts such as walnuts and almonds are
best soaked overnight in a bowl of water in your fridge, then
drained the next day.
Not only will they taste better, but this process releases many
of their toxins. If possible, always have a bowl of nuts soaking
in the fridge, ready for consumption. Sunflower seeds, pumpkin
seeds hemp seeds, etc. not only taste good, but are very good for
you also.
I use almonds to make milk 2 or 3 times a week. A blender
half-full of water, about 4 generous handfuls of almonds and a
couple of oversized tablespoons of raw honey makes a drink the
whole family will enjoy. Add raw cocoa for chocolate milk. You
can optionally strain it to drink it, or just pour it over cereal
right out of the blender.
The term "fast foods", when referring to restaurants, is really
only half right. It is usually served to you fast, but it cannot
be described as food. There have been many articles published in
the news recently stating there are more chemicals in most fast
foods than real food itself. One particular article stated that a
hamburger had been found in a home over a month after purchase,
and not only did it not look any different, there were no flies
or insects attracted to it. No mat ter how much of a hurry you
are in, avoid all fast food restaurants, let's put them all out
of business!
Also associated with these places are pop drinks. Even though
there isn't much good in bottled fruit drinks, (or bottled water,
as far as that goes), they would be less harmful than pop.
Depending on your flavour of choice, one can of pop can contain
the equivalency of 10 to 20 packets of sugar. And the only thing
worse than pop is diet pop, which contains deadly artificial
sweeteners.
When cooking on your stove top, avoid all aluminum and non-stick
cookware. At high tem peratures, the coating of nonstick cookware
will break down into a chemical warfare agent known as PFIB, a
chemical agent of the WWII nerve gas phosgene.
All of your pots and frying pan should be stainless steel.
Another place aluminum should be avoided is in your deodorant.
Aluminum compounds can be absorbed through the skin, and high
levels of aluminum found in the brain have been linked to
Alzheimer's disease. Be sure to use an all-natural deodorant,
where you can pronounce all of the ingredients in it.
Make sure your toothpaste is fluoride free. Though the medical
folks tell us otherwise, fluoride is not supposed to be in your
mouth. Along with actually weakening your teeth and bones, it is
also known to create havoc with your nervous system. One article
on this subject on the www.naturatnews.com website states it is
very easy to make your own toothpaste. Just mix a 50/50 solution
of coconut oil and baking soda (optionally adding some peppermint
for flavor). The coconut oil is a natural antibacterial, so it
works to kill harmful bacteria in your mouth. Baking soda
provides a mild abrasive for cleansing, and can also neutralize
acids in your mouth that are often at the root of tooth decay.
And gradually change all of your cleaning products to
easier-on-the-environment natural ones. That includes household
cleaning, laundry cleaning and even the soaps you use on your
body and hair.
Disclaimer: For those that asked, I am not a doctor and I don't
have any medical training. I am just an individual who researches
information that other people have studied and proven to be
effective, and I just pass that information on to you.

We Must BELIEVE!

WE MUST BELIEVE
by Holly Mills
"Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the
resurrection at the last day. Jesus said unto her, I am the
resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he
were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth
in me shall never die. Believest thou this?" John 11:24-26)
As the world seems to be rapidly heading toward conflict in the
Middle East with Iran there is a feeling of uncertainty
developing in people's hearts. We have questions such as; where
is this going? How will this affect me or will it at all? Is this
going to further affect the economy? These questions all lead to
a feeling of uncertainty and we feel vulnerable as things are
really out of our control.
It is time that we make a full commitment in searching our hearts
to see why we have these feelings. We know we worship a wonderful
God who loves us and has promised us many things and we must
believe Him. Jesus told us to not be afraid but to believe, "As
soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the
ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe." Mark 5:36.
If we truly believe God and what He says we know that He will
watch over us and when we put our complete faith in Him, we
cannot be afraid. If we do not believe God and do not put our
complete faith in Him then we become afraid and feel uncertain.
We are no longer confident in God and who He says He is. We then
start to question everything, even His love for us and His
protection over us. This is when we must remember who Jesus is
and what He has done for us. He will never leave us or forsake
us. He died for us so that we might live. His Resurrection gave
us life. He is our covering. He is our righteousness. "In his
days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and
this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR
RIGHTEOUSNESS." (Jer.23:6).
Fear gets us off track and makes us doubt our righteousness in
Jesus Christ. This fear then makes us want to find things to do
to put us back on track but it is not things we need to find but
belief in Jesus, He is our righteousness. "0 my God, incline
thine ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations,
and the city which is called by thy name: for we do not present
our supplications before thee for our righteousnesses, but for
thy great mercies." (Dan.9:17-19). "For God so loved the world,
that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in
him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16).
We must believe in our hearts and not just our minds that Jesus
is who He says He is. Jesus said, "0 fools, and slow of heart to
believe all that the prophets have spoken: Ought not Christ to
have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory." (Luke
24:25 -26).
We must believe with our whole heart and take seriously all that
the prophets of old have said and all that has already happened.
We are not living in a world that is totally out of control. God
is in control. We should be living our lives filled with great
expectation for all that God is doing and all that is about to
come. If we have our hearts and with belief in Jesus Christ as
our Saviour and Redeemer we have no fear of the things to come.
We are covered by the blood of the Lamb and His Resurrection
gives us life eternal with Him. We must fill our hearts with
belie: so that there is no room for fear.
"He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his
God, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving,
and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and
sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in
the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the
second death." (Rev.21:7-8).
..........
Note:
To inherit ALL THINGS is really not understood by the majority of
Christians. Your Bible tells you that YOU can become a very son
of the Fathedr in heaven. Christians talk about being a son of
God, but very few have ever stopped to study God's word to come
to understand what that really means.
I have a study on my website that will show you what the Holy
Scriptures teach about being a son of God. The study is called "A
Christian's Destiny." You need to study that study and come to
know the AWESOME inheritance that can be yours.

expectation for all that God is doing and all that is about to
