GREAT HEALTH CHECK RESULTS....FOR ME!!



WELL A  FEW  WEEKS  AGO,  I  HAD  MY THOROUGH
 MEDICAL [TAKING BLOOD AND TESTING FOR A DOZEN
 OR MORE THINGS]. JUST TODAY HAD MY PHYSICAL
 EXAM, THE BIG THOROUGH ONE. BEFORE THE EXAM
 MY DOCTOR GAL SAID, "Keith I figured you were in your
 50s, just looking at your file closer and I see you've had a
 birthday and your now 73..... wow...." SHE SAID I PASSED
 EVERYTHING WITH FLYING COLORS, WITH BLOOD
 AND URINE EXAM. SHE ADDED, "YOU'VE LOST 20
 POUNDS SINCE LAST TIME, WELL DONE INDEED." I AM
 DOWN TO 156 POUNDS NOW. SHE DID ALL THE
 PHYSICAL, YA YOU KNOW STRIPPED DOWN TO MY
 SHIRT AND SOCKS ONLY, EXAM...., SAY NO MORE.
 TESTED HERE AND TESTED THERE. EVERYTHING
 SUPER GOOD; TOLD ME I SHOULD LIVE TO BE 100
 GOING LIKE THIS. TOLD HER ALL THE EXERCISE I
 GET, AND THAT I REALLY DO FEEL LIKE 50 AND NOT
 73. SHE SAID, "WELL KEEP IT GOING, KEEP MOVING."



SO IT REALLY DOES PAY OFF TO WATCH YOUR DIET
[GOOD HEALTHY FOODS,  IF  YOU  CAN  HAVE  A  
GARDEN  -  ORGANIC  OF  COURSE], KEEP YOUR 
WEIGHT UNDER CONTROL [YEP I WORK AT IT, HAVE 
TO, OR  ELSE] AND GET LOTS OF EXERCISE. 

YOU YOUNGER  ONES  OUT THERE, IT IS STARTING ON 
ALL THAT WHEN YOUNG AND KEEPING AT IT AS A WAY 
OF LIFE.....IT REALLY PAYS OFF DOWN THE ROAD
ESPECIALLY.

I  TOOK  THE  CHARLES  ATLAS  "HEALTH  AND  
STRENGTH  COURSE"  WHEN  A  YOUNG  TEENAGER.  
DO  A  LOT  OF  HIS  EXERCISES  IN  BETWEEN  FAST  
LAPS  AT  THE  SWIMMING  POOL  TWICE  A  WEEK.
LIFT  MY  WEIGHTS  TWO  OR  THREE  TIMES  A  WEEK  
FOR  ABOUT  TEN  MINUTES  ONLY.  RIDE  MY  HORSE  
THREE  TIMES  A  WEEK.  NOW  WORK  AS  A  HIRED  
HAND  NOW  AND  THEN  AT  THE  HORSE  RANCH  
WHERE  I  BOARD  MY  HORSE.  WORK  PART  TIME  AT  
THE  COMMUNITY  CENTER,  SOMETIMES  HEAVY  
WORK  SETTING  UP  BIG  TABLES  ETC.

WELL  ALL  THIS  IS  A  WAY  OF  LIFE  FOR  ME,  
ESPECIALLY  OVER  THE  LAST  17  YEARS.  
RETIREMENT  IS  NOT  YET  IN  MY  VOCABULARY.  
LIFE  IS  TOO  MUCH  FUN  BE  ACTIVE.

ONE  OF  THE  BIGGEST  RULES  I  CAN  GIVE  YOU 
[GOT  IT  FROM  MR. ATLAS  AS  A  TEEN]  IS:

STAY  AWAY  FROM  "WHITE  FLOUR"  PRODUCTS..... 
LOOK  UPON  WHITE  FLOUR  PRODUCTS  AS  A  
PLAGUE;  GET  WHITE  FLOUR  PRODUCTS  OUT  OF  
YOUR  DIET.  JUST  STOP  AND  THINK  ABOUT  ALL  
THE  FOODS  [SO-CALLED]  MADE  FROM  WHITE  
FLOUR. WHITE  FLOUR [ALL  THE  NATURAL  
GOODNESS  TAKEN  OUT]  IS  ONE  OF  THE  WORSE  
INVENTIONS  OF  MANKIND  IN  FOOD 
PRODUCTION. THEN  ALL  THE  ADDED  SUGARS  IN  
ALL  KINDS  OF  THINGS  YOU'D  NEVER  EXPECT,  IS  
JUST  ABOUT  AS  BAD.  THOSE  TWO  THINGS  HAVE  
BEEN  RESPONSIBLE  FOR  OUR  EVER  INCREASING  
BAD  HEALTH  AND  OVER-WEIGHT  CHILDREN  AND  
ADULTS.
