JESUS SAID HE CAME TO DO THE FATHER'S WILL AND TEACH WHAT THE FATHER TOLD HIM TO TEACH.
ANYONE READING THE GOSPELS SHOULD SEE THAT IS WHAT JESUS TAUGHT.
PETER SAID JESUS SET US THE EXAMPLE THAT WE SHOULD FOLLOW HIM, AND DO NO SIN, AS HE DID NO SIN [1 PETER 3: 21, 22] .
WE HAVE SEEN THE TEN COMMANDMENTS DEFINE WHAT SIN IS [2 JOPHN 3: 4; ROMANS 7: 7; JAMES 2: 10-12]
FROM THE GOSPELS WE SEE JESUS OBSERVED IN THE LETTER AND SPIRIT THE 4TH COMMANDMENT— THE WEEKLY SABBATH.
IT IS JUST THAT SIMPLE— THE SIMPLICITY THAT IS IN CHRIST JESUS.
FROM THE AGE OF 7 I WENT TO A CHURCH OF ENGLAND SCHOOL AND ATTENDED A LOCAL SUNDAY SCHOOL. I WAS TAUGHT TO LEARN BY MEMORY THE TEN COMMANDMENTS AS IN EXODUS 20.
NO HUMAN BEING EVER TOLD ME THAT SUNDAY WAS THE FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK. I BELIEVED SUNDAY WAS THE 7TH DAY OF THE WEEK, UNTIL I WAS 19, WHEN IN CADADA, MY BAPTIST LANDLORD TOLD ME SUNDAY WAS THE FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK. I WAS STUNNED TO THE CORE. KNOWING ALL ROMAN CATHOLIC AND PROTESTANT CHURCHES WERE IN GROSS ERROR!
READING THE GOSPELS FOR MANY YEARS, I KNEW WHAT JESUS HAD SAID ABOUT WHEN HE CAME AGAIN, MANY PEOPLE WOULD BE ON THE OUTSIDE LOOKING IN AT THE KINGDOM AND SAYING, "LORD WE SERVED YOU" AND JESUS WOULD SAY, "I DO NOT KNOW YOU, YOU WHO HAVE SERVED LAWLESSNESS."
IT IS JUST THAT SERIOUS. ALL GOD'S TEN COMMANDMENTS ARE STILL IN EFFECT; THEY DEFINE SIN— 1 JOHN 3: 4, ROMANS 7: 7; JAAMES 2: 10-12.
WHEN I WAS GIVEN THE TRUTH OF WHICH DAY WAS THE 7TH DAY AND THE WEEKLY SABBATH, I HAD TO DECIDE, DO I FOLLOW THE SILLY AND DAFT ARGUMENTS THAT HAVE THE SABBATH VANISH IN CHRIST, OR DO I FOLLOW THE EXAMPLE OF JESUS IN THE GOSPELS, WHO OBEYED THE SABBATH IN THE LETTER AND IN THE SPIRIT.
THIS IS ALSO FOR YOU TO DECIDE.
WHOEVER HAS EARS TO HEAR WITH SHOULD HEAR.
