The new movie called RITE is about the Roman Catholic church. Went to see it because I was interested in seeing how the RC church would be put forth to the world. IT is all about the making of the RC exorcists! Of course the RC church teaches there is a God and Christ is the Son of God. They teach there is a demon world, that the demons have names as do the righteous angels. They teach correctly that MANY become demon influenced and/or demon possessed. They have "schools" of learning all this side of Christianity, and indeed learning and moving forward to become an "exorcist" for the RC church.
This move is about one such young fellow becoming eventually an exorcist for the RC church.
Overall then it picture the RC church is a positive light as it battles the demonic world.
Many then will see the RC church as on the side of God, fighting the evil forces of Satan the Devil.
Hence this movie will help the cause of the RC church hold on to and even expand its ONE BILLION plus membership around the world.
What about people possessed by demons (one or more) and at times the success of the RC church's exorcists to cast out the demons? It could well be so, for we must remember the heart and mind of those possessed and/or the people bringing the possessed to an RC church's exorcist, is that they are looking to God in the name of Christ to cast out the demon/s - they are not looking to some man or some church per se hence God could indeed honor the individuals faith or faith of those bringing such people demonically influenced or possessed to the exorcist.
And it could be so for other Christian denominations that have "faith" prayers etc. for such people in their midst also. As long as they are looking towards God and Christ for deliverance from demons, the Father will often honor their faith towards Him, no matter what church "organization" they belong to.
And so with this knowledge we are also to be careful that we do not put this miracle deliverance in the position where we take this to prove that a certain Christian "denomination" is of God and is part of the true body of Christ, hence we then ignore the false teachings and practices of theology that that Christian organization proclaims.
Despite success with exorcism at times in the Roman Catholic church, she is still the Whore Babylon Mystery religion of the book of Revelation, that has made the whole earth drunk with her spiritual fornications, and is drunk with the blood of the saints, as history so clearly records.

God is the Judge!
AS I SEE IT
GOD IS THE JUDGE

"But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another." (Ps.75:7)
It is interesting in today's world how so many people who believe in God as our Father, who protects us, cannot also see him as the judge of this world. They can speak so easily of God's love and guidance but try to speak to them of his judgments on this earth and they turn away. This they cannot comprehend.
The Bible speaks very clearly of God as the judge of the earth. Psalm 82:8 says "Arise, 0 God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations". Throughout the Bible there are many examples of how God judged an evil and disobedient world. There are the examples of Adam and Eve who are driven from the Garden of Eden. The great flood sent to destroy the evil in Noah's time, the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah and the ten plagues in Egypt are only a few examples of God's past judgments on the earth. The righteous judgment of all things by God is the underlying theme throughout all teaching in the Bible. This is spoken of in the law, through the prophets and through Jesus Christ and the apostles. It is made very clear in the books of Proverbs, Job and Ecclesiastes that we are to be judged. "For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil." (Eccl. 12.14) The New Testament speaks in Acts and Romans of how God will judge us through Jesus Christ. Jesus himself says "For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:" (John 5:22)
The New Testament speaks clearly of a day of judgment and the wrath of God. It is Jesus who is our Saviour, our divinely appointed judge. "And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead. " (Acts 10.42)
God is both a lawgiver and a judge who loves righteousness and hates iniquity. His judg ment is moral as well as factual. He knows what is in our hearts and not just the face that we put on in public. "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad." (2 Cor.5.10) God's very character is expressed through His Divine judgments. His righteous judgment is to reward good to those who have done good and to reward evil to those who have done evil. His judgments are wise, just and moral.
As we approach that great judgment day we must reaffirm our faith in our wonderful Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. He is the only one that can save us from all the judgments that are happening on this earth. There appears to be no doubt that today we are living in a time of judgment. The world is in a time of great chaos. It is an amazing time with evil everywhere and our Israel nations sinking further and further into their sin. I sometimes find it hard to believe what is happening and how far we have fallen. It appears that only our Lord can save us now. We must pray that the Lord will open our eyes soon.
Whether we want to believe it or not God will judge this earth!
"And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army. for his camp is very great. for he is strong that executeth his word. for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it? Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning. And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for his is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil." (Joel 2.11-13)
"And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works." (Rev.20:12)

Armchair Quarterbacks
FOR ARMCHAIR QUARTERBACKS

Before imposing my questions for the armchair quarterbacks. I
think it is necessary to provide some information. gleaned from
the Bible. to prepare our answers. My basic contention is that of
Paul found in 2nd Timothy 3:15-17 "All Scripture is given by
inspiration of God. and is profitable for doctrine. for reproof,
for correction, or INSTRUCTION IN RIGHTEOUSNESS: that the men of
God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works."
Case 1. We look to the story of Gideon, that "man of valour", so
designated by the Angel of the Lord. We find his challenge in
Judges 6:33. "Then all the Midianites and the Amalekites and the
children of the east were gathered together, and went over and
pitched in the valley of Jezreel." Quite a horde and interesting
in that it included the Amalekitcs, against whom God pledged to
have war from generation to generation, because they attacked
Israel in the wilderness. This was the classic example of Israel
winning with a small army so that the Lord, doing battle for
them, would gain the credit and the heathen would learn of His
power. So, Gideon took his "army", (like a boy scout troop), with
their lamps in earthen pots and their horns and surrounded the
enemy encampment. Well. you know what happened and it is
summarized in judges 7:22. "And the three hundred blew the
trumpets, AND THE LORD SET EVERY MAN'S SWORD AGAINST HIS FELLOW,
EVEN THROUGHOUT ALL THE HOST: and the host fled." So, God turned
the enemy against itself!
Case 2). Jehoshaphat, the virtuous King of Judah, was requested
by Ahab, the King of Is rael, to join him in battle against the
Syrians. In 2nd Chronicles 17:12-19, it is recorded the numbers
of men that Jehoshaphat could place under arms and it was
1,160,000, no small army. Jehoshaphat agreed to join him and when
Ahab consulted the 400 prophets of Baal, they told him to go up
against the Syrians. Jehoshaphat, however, was not satisfied and
wanted to consult a prophet of the Lord. Ahab could produce one
called Micaiah, but he did not like him because his advice was
always adverse, as it was this tame when he forecast defeat. But
the 400 voices carried the day and they engaged the Syrians in
conflict with the result that Ahab was killed by an arrow that
founc the scent of his armour. Jeho shaphat returned to Jerusalem
in peace but he was met by Jehu. 2nd Chron. 10:2-3. "And Jehu,
the son of Hamlin the seer, went out to meet him, and said to
King Jehoshaphat, shouldest thou help the ungodly, and love them
that hate the Lord? therefore is wrath upon thee from before the
Lord. Nevertheless. there are good things found in thee, in that
thou hast taken away the groves in the land, and last prepared
thine heart to seek God." Well, did the good outweigh the bad?
No, he ignored the advice of Jehu, and conspired with Ahaziah,
the King of Israel, to build a limy to go to Tarshish. The result
is found in 2nd Chron. 20:37. "Then Eliezer the son of Dodavah of
Mareshah. prophesled against Jehoshaphat, saying, Because thou
hast joined thyself with Ahaziah, the Lord hath broken thy works.
And the ships were broken that they were not able to go to
Tarshish." So. even though Jehoshaphat was a righteous king, by
aligning himselt with the ungodly kings of Israel, he suffered
the wrath of God and those enterprises, jointly undertaken,
failed.
Case 3). While Jehoshaphat was reigning in Judah, he was forced
to assemble against a formidable host that came against him from
Ammon, Moab and Mount Seir. (There is the Amalekitcs again!) So
Jehoshaphat took the matter to the Lord in prayer and then in
chapter 20, verse 21, it records the following. "And when HE HAD
CONSULTED WITH THE PEOPLE, he appointed singers unto the Lord and
that should praise the beauty of holiness. as they went out
before the army, and to say, Praise the Lord. for His mercy
endureth for ever." The tale is summarized in verses 22-24. "And
when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments
against the children of Ammom, Moab and Mount Seir, which were
come against Judah: and they were smitten. For the children of
Ammom and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of Mount Seir,
utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end
of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another.
And when Judah came towards the watch tower in the wilderness,
they looked unto the multitude, and behold. they were dead bodies
fallen to the earth, and none escaped." Then, Judah collected the
spoils and riches including precious jewels.
Case 4). The nation Israel pretends it shares the Christian God,
and we have the confirming phrase Judeo-Christian. The first
epistle of John 2:23, "Whosoever denieth the Son hath not the
Father: (but) he that acknowledge the Son hath the Father also."
This nation has denied Jesus Christ since His ministry on earth,
so in Bible terms, they are ungodly.
So, we have our four case studies. Play the role of armchair
quarterbacks, how would you re spond to the following questions'?
1. Should the army of Manasseh remain in Iraq and Afghanistan?
2. Should Manasseh attack Iran for the benefit of Israel?
3. Should we attain victory with a larger army/navy?
4. Should the people be consulted?
If you know the right answers based on the INSTRUCTION contained
in the Bible, why do our leaders remain confounded?

EARTHQUAKE IN EGYPT!!
No not the earthquake we first think about when we hear that word - it is the earthquake from the people!
First, one news station to find out the details of what's happening in Egypt is BBC news.
About Egypt:
It is looked upon traditionally as the leading Arab nation of the Arab nations of the East.
It is the most populous of the Arab nations.
Egypt has been ruled by the dictatorship of Mubarak for 30 years.
The USA and Egypt for all those years have been in bed with each other.
1.5 Billion dollars a year comes from the USA to Egypt as part of being in bed together.
We now have a NEW generation of YOUNG men and women in Egypt over the last 30 years.
FINALLY they are rising up en mass to declare they have had enough of Mubarak dictatorship.
The USA via Obama is saying Egypt must move in a new direction to the will and desires of its people, which means more freedom, more democracy, a government that will listen to the people and bring in the changes needed that the people are now demanding.
Bible Prophecy is moving on. As Egypt is the traditional LEADING nation of the Arab world, so it will be in the future - changes MUST take place in the Arab world, to finally bring about the "king of the south" of Daniel 11:40-45. This king of the south will be a united Arab confederacy and its LEADING nation will be Egypt. The new generation in the Arab world is now rising up to say the old must go and the new must come in. The new thinking from the new generation is 21st century, the Internet, the Cell phone, the iPad generation, which will change the Arab nations in the next few years. It must come about to bring to fruition the appearing of the "king of the south" in Bible prophecy.
You are seeing this prophecy starting to take shape right before your eyes. There is a God in heaven. He has inspired His word from those He inspired to write it down. Thousands of years ago it was written for this end time. Only the Enteral of this universe could tell you thousands of years in advance what WILL TAKE PLACE in our day. This alone is PROOF that God does exist!
It was told, it was written, thousands of years ago that Joseph Israel would be a brother people that would become a nation and a company of nations - that they would inherit the richest physical blessing of the earth, a people richer in physical wealth than ANY people have ever been in the entirety of history. They would also be the GREATEST military power the world has ever seen. It's all in the book of Genesis, the promises given to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph. It's all there to read, even a child can read it and look around and see this prophecy fulfilled right before our eyes. If you are using any natural logic of mind, you'll know who these people are.
Then God told Daniel and so also in the book of Revelation that there would come a 7 resurrection Holy Roman Empire. I have shown you in my study called "The Beasts of Daniel and Revelation" that history records we have had 6 of those resurrections. The 7th one is taking shape in Europe right now in your life time. Yes it has taken 60 years to get where it is, but it did start, and it is continuing to form. It will be finally the Power that will bring destruction on the Western world for the 3rd time in modern history, and will for a very short time RULE the Western world.
But before it does all that, this Europe Beast Holy Roman Empire will have a conflict with the united Arab "king of the south" and the Europe king of the north will come crashing down on the king of the south, destroying its power and unity. Then the Beast/Babylon of Europe will move into the Holy Land, its armies will surround Jerusalem and Jerusalem will fall, the city will fall in destruction, the Wailing Wall will come crashing down thus fulfilling Jesus words in the first verses of Matthew 24. The Jewish State will fall under the iron heel once more of the Holy Roman Empire, the Jews and Christians living there at that time will have to flee to save their lives, thousands of Jews will not make it, they will die. And then it will turn on the rest of the Western world and bring it all under subjection - the horrific THIRD world war will have begun, millions will die, a time of TRIBULATION such as never before seen on this earth, and the last 42 months as spoken about in the book of Revelation will have arrived, a time of unimaginable physical destruction on earth that Jesus Christ must come to stop or no flesh would survive.
The good news beyond all the bad is that Jesus will come to raise the saints - change them to immortality, to meet Him in the clouds, the air, and to come to the city of Jerusalem, to establish the Kingdom of God on earth. Are you Watching EGYPT?
Do you see what is going on with Egypt? The people are finally wanting a free Democratic Egypt. They have had enough (like some other Arab countries) of a dictatorship Government.
Most of the Arab countries are ruled by a dictatorship. The USA gives voice or adds their voice to the people, but what a sham as the USA has backed a lot of these dictatorships over the last many decades. Now they say they are on the "people's side." Well convenient when needed to be convenient. But we will forget about the USA.
The "king of the south" that is to arise at the end time and "push at" the king of the north as we see in Daniel 11:40-45 is going to be spearheaded by EGYPT! Prophecies in Ezekiel make that very clear.
Now some may jump on the bandwagon and state that the "king of the south" is very near, EVEN AT THE DOOR! And they will further proclaim that it is not many years to the coming of Christ.
We need to be very careful. For indeed GERMANY needed to be UNITED before the "king of the north" - a Europe Holy Roman Empire Beast could come into being. The Berlin wall if I remember correct fell in 1979. And the Europe Beast of Revelation is STILL a number of years away from forming (it could be still not formed at the end of this decade, we will see how it goes by 2015). So for Egypt to be free from dictatorship, and strong enough to rise among the Arab nations in political might and power that other Arab nations will join ranks with them to form an Arab world power....... well that could be years away! Those Arab nations will also have to give up a dictatorship rule to trust each other.
So I just want to warn you that you must be careful to not run away with the horses, and gallop off into
preaching that the end of this age is only a few years away. And even when this Arab "king of the south" is formed, we still do not know HOW LONG it will be before it "pushes at" the king of the North, it could be a short time (IF the king of the north has formed into the mighty Beast power of Revelation) or it could be a long time, as we count long time. And remember God does not count time as we count time - 10, 20 years to us is a long time - to the Eternal God it is as nothing, even less than nothing if you want to try to put "nothing" into the frame of eternity.

Most of the Arab countries are ruled by a dictatorship. The USA gives voice or adds their voice to the people, but what a sham as the USA has backed a lot of these dictatorships over the last many decades. Now they say they are on the "people's side." Well convenient when needed to be convenient. But we will forget about the USA.
The "king of the south" that is to arise at the end time and "push at" the king of the north as we see in Daniel 11:40-45 is going to be spearheaded by EGYPT! Prophecies in Ezekiel make that very clear.
Now some may jump on the bandwagon and state that the "king of the south" is very near, EVEN AT THE DOOR! And they will further proclaim that it is not many years to the coming of Christ.
We need to be very careful. For indeed GERMANY needed to be UNITED before the "king of the north" - a Europe Holy Roman Empire Beast could come into being. The Berlin wall if I remember correct fell in 1979. And the Europe Beast of Revelation is STILL a number of years away from forming (it could be still not formed at the end of this decade, we will see how it goes by 2015). So for Egypt to be free from dictatorship, and strong enough to rise among the Arab nations in political might and power that other Arab nations will join ranks with them to form an Arab world power....... well that could be years away! Those Arab nations will also have to give up a dictatorship rule to trust each other.
So I just want to warn you that you must be careful to not run away with the horses, and gallop off into
preaching that the end of this age is only a few years away. And even when this Arab "king of the south" is formed, we still do not know HOW LONG it will be before it "pushes at" the king of the North, it could be a short time (IF the king of the north has formed into the mighty Beast power of Revelation) or it could be a long time, as we count long time. And remember God does not count time as we count time - 10, 20 years to us is a long time - to the Eternal God it is as nothing, even less than nothing if you want to try to put "nothing" into the frame of eternity.

Winter Wonder - World Economic group
The USA is getting another winter wallop from the snow man, while we up here in Alberta, Canada,
are basking in the warmth, the snow just melting away....well for a few more days, then we are back to a more normal temperature of about 20 F. But January is usually the coldest month for us, so should be, I say should be (with weather mix-up you never know) any very cold weather up and out of here, and Spring around the corner.
So the world meets in Switzerland - about 2,500 of the economic "experts" to try and figure what can be done to the high unemployment around the world - 6.2 percent, and that does not include those who have just given up looking for work. It's the 41 time all these guys/gals have met, so nothing new in their getting together to fix the economy of the world.
Thinking about this and the USA as one expert wrote the 767 BILLION pumped into a stimulus package has done NOTHING to get the USA out of its troubles. And I remember another expert saying a few year back that throwing money into some so-called stimulus, does not work, that it did not work in the 1930s depression and so will not work again. He was CORRECT! It's done NOTHING to get the USA out of job loss and economic woes.
They and Europe who were in bed with the USA Bankers and Wall/Fall Street guys, had no laws in place to prevent a crash, and they were not taking any heed to the few who were shouting out that it would all blow up in their face - those few we know now were very correct. Canada had laws in place hence not effected anywhere near like the USA and Europe. So once more we see that true freedom is WITHIN LAW not outside of law - outside of law makes you an OUTLAW!
God's law gives you freedom, true freedom. Outside of that law not only makes you an outlaw but brings sorrow, pain, and troubles - so it is written we reap what we sow.

The movie HELEN
No it's not Helen of Troy. It's a movie just simple called "Helen" and Ashley Judd and supporting cast
are just terrific in their acting.
I happened to come across it while browsing through Blockbuster last evening. It is an Alliance Film - 2008.
It's the story about the horrible sickness of suicide depression. Helen suffers from a deep debilitating depression. Although her family tries to help her, no one can relate to her pain other than a young female student who knows depression all too well. Helen is a film about a woman fighting to save her life and her family; a story about courage, devotion, and the triumph of the heart over the mind.
It is NOT for children, it is too disturbing for children - so adults ONLY!
It certainly shows you the horror that this sickness can be, and the nightmare for those who have to contend with it; yet it also shows you there are medical helps that can bring some people with this sickness back to a normal life. So though a heavy dramatic sorrowful type movie, it gives hope for some.
Certainly a good educational movie dealing with this sad sickness.
