If you want some beautiful heart-touching movies then you need to obtain the series "Love Comes Softly" from the best selling author Janette Oke and directed by Michael Landon Jr.
A family's journey of the ups and downs of life, the joys the sorrows, the triumphs, the work, the touching truths that happened to many as the new world of the West was established in North America.
They are Christian based movies, but not as perfect as could have been, i.e. prayers but no "in Jesus' name" after the prayer, and as would be expected coming from the popular Christianity you have the "Christmas" scenes.
But overlooking that, the movies are very touching, and very well acted indeed, some of the children actors are amazing. The movies are very enjoyable, so they are worth having as a series.
