THE FUTURE FOR AMERICA IN BIBLE PROPHECY
• America is already experiencing divine remedial judgments.
Islamic Extremists Identify America as the Great Satan
America is commonly called the Great Satan by many Muslim leaders and clerics. The term, first coined by former Iranian Ayatollah Khomeini in a November 5, 1979, speech, has resonated throughout many Mideast and world mosques ever since.60 American freedoms of worship, speech, woman's rights, and more stand in strict contrast to rigid Sharia laws in many Islamic countries. Additionally, our nation's support for Israel, who many Muslims identify as the "little Satan,"further fuels fundamentalist Islamic hatred toward America.
The goal of Islam is to conquer the world. Muslim's are called to convert, subjugate, or destroy non-Muslims.The holy book of Islam, known as the Qur'an, instructs Muslims that they are not to wage war with unbelievers until they are first preached to. But, if then they don't convert, they are to be fought.61
Below are a couple of Islamic scriptures that express this truth:
"Slay the idolaters wherever ye find them, and take them captive, and besiege them, and prepare for them each ambush. But if they repent and establish worship and pay the poor-due, then leave their way free. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful." (Qur'an 9:5). The "poor-due" in this verse is zakat, which is one of the Five Pillars of Islam, and regulates religious tithes.
"Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, (Jews and Christians) until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued" (Qur'an 9:29). The jizya was a tax inflicted upon non-believers.62
As long as Muslim extremists exist, employ tactics of terror, and consider America as Satan, Americans are subject to future terrorist attacks. Perhaps some devastating terror attack affects America, dethroning it from its superpower status.
America Slips from Superpower Status, According to Bible Experts
Many Christian Americans are wondering if the United States can be identified in Bible prophecy. Seldom do my colleagues or I escape a question-and-answer session at a prophecy conference without being asked, "What is America's future according to prophecy?" This question is on the minds of many for three primary reasons:
America is rapidly becoming less Christian,
It's difficult to locate America in the Bible, and
It's obvious that humanity is living in the last days.
When thesethree factors are all considered, one logically surmises that America's departure from the Lord in these last days brings forth divine judgment upon the United States, and that's why it's difficult to discover the USA in the Bible.
Fortunately, several respected prophetic voices have been burdened to research and write on this subject over the past couple years; Dr. Mark Hitchcock wrote The Late Great United States, Dr. David Reagan revised America the Beautiful, his third edition, and Terry James authored The American Apocalypse. All three books impart invaluable information related to the subject. I've had the privilege to interview each of these individuals over the radio about their books, and can report both good and bad news as a result.
The good news is that the three experts generally agree about America's future. Conversely, the bad news is that the news is not necessarily good for Americans. They all agree that America is hard to locate in the Bible, and if it is identified it's probably not represented as a superpower.
Presuming America can even be found in the Bible, why is the world's greatest ever super-power, the United States of America, hard to locate in Scripture?The Bible lists countries, cities, and locations throughout its pages; Israel is listed approximately 2,302 times. Even the tiny Gaza Strip area, which encompasses approximately 140 square miles, is listed about forty-four times under Gaza, Philistia, or the land of the Philistines. But, where is America? How many times is it listed in the Scriptures?

Within the ten lost tribes of Israel—(Anglo Israelism)
Some believe the ten lost tribes of Israel migrated throughout time into the UK and beyond into the USA. This theory is called British Israelism or Anglo Israelism. This hypothesis is rooted in the belief that the descendants of the ten Hebrew tribes of Reuben, Issachar, Zebulun, Dan, Naphtali, Gad, Asher, Ephraim, Manasseh, and Levi are primarily floundering about generally incognizant of their tribal identities in countries like America.
The brief background dates back to around 930 BC, when these ten tribes rejected Solomon's son Rehoboam as their king. They followed Jeroboam, who managed the laborers Solomon had conscripted for his huge building projects63 instead, and in the process Israel became a divided kingdom.The split kingdom was generally identified as the northern kingdom of Israel, occupied by the ten tribes, and the southern kingdom of Judah, occupied by the remaining two tribes of Judah and Benjamin.
Both kingdoms were conquered at different intervals. Assyria conquered the northern kingdom in 722 BC, (ACTUALLY FROM ABOUT 735 TO 718 B.C. - Keith Hunt) and Babylon conquered the southern kingdom around 586 BC. (ACTUALLY 604 TO 586 B.C. - Keith Hunt). After the prophesied seventy years of Babylonian captivity, the tribes of Judah and Benjamin began making their way back into Israel.64 However, tracking the migration of the ten tribes captured by the Assyrians has proven to be more difficult.

2,000 years ago, the Hebrews relied on handwritten records, rather than Face-book, to keep track of their tribal trees. These records were stored in the Jewish temple. In 70 AD, when the Romans destroyed the second Jewish temple, these important genealogical records were destroyed. Since there are no remaining accurate records readily available, the obvious conclusion the Anglo-lsraelist draws is that America, being home to millions of Jews, must be where descendants of the ten lost tribes exist. Undoubtedly, there are Jews in America from an assortment of these ten tribes and genetic testing today is proving that.

A case in point is that of Bill Koenig, the founder of World Watch Daily. Recently Koenig, a red-blooded American citizen, discovered he was from the tribe of Levi. Bill recounted his story to me, how he was raised all his life thinking he was a Gentile, but his sudden love for Israel, after becoming a Christian, prompted him to trace his historical roots. Ultimately, Bill was genetically tested and found out that he wasn't a Gentile, but a Jew of Levite ancestry.
There are other Jews today finding themselves in Koenig's shoes. This is because at various points during the Diaspora, being a Jew was dangerously unpopular. For understandable reasons, many Jews shunned their natural identities over their 1,878 years of worldwide dispersion, between 70 - 1948 AD.
For instance, at the time of the Spanish Inquisition in the late 1400s, many Jews abandoned their heritages. They were coerced under duress to convert to Catholicism or be persecuted. Persecution often led to death or expulsion from Spain. Conversos and Marranos began springing up all over Spain. Conversos were true converts to Catholicism, but Marranos falsified their conversions. Some believe Christopher Columbus was a Jew, and that his three ships, the Pinta, Nina, and Santa Maria were filled with Jews attempting to flee persecution.65
During the Hitler holocaust, being a Jew in Europe turned out to be a death sentence for approximately six million Jews. It is believed that many Jews intentionally abandoned their heritage and became Gentile impostors, in order to escape Nazi extermination.66

The fact that Jews from the ten tribes of Israel may dwell in America, hardly clues us into America's future. Additionally, the ten tribes are not entirely lost, because passages like Ezra 7:7 tells us that many Levites migrated back to Israel after the Babylonian captivity. Furthermore, in the New Testament Luke 2:36 points out that the prophetess Anna was from the tribe of Asher. Also from the New Testament, it can be assumed that the assortment of Jews mentioned in the historical account of Acts 2 included members from the ten tribes.
(IT CAN BE FOUND IN HISTORY THAT SOME INDIVIDUAL PEOPLE, EVEN A FAMILY, FROM THE 10 TRIBES WENT BACK AND JOINED JUDAH TO THE SOUTH, ESPECIALLY AND PROBABLY BECAUSE THEY WANTED TO WORSHIP THE TRUE GOD, THAT THE 10 TRIBES HAD ABANDONED AFTER THE DEATH OF SOLOMON. JUST BECAUSE SOME DID THIS AND ARE NAMED AS BEING OF ONE OF THE 10 TRIBES WHILE IN JUDAH, DOES NOT MEAN ALL THE MASS OF PEOPLE FROM THE TEN TRIBES RETURNED TO JUDAH!! NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH. THEY JUST DID NOT RETURN. THE WEIGHT OF HISTORICAL EVIDENCE IS OVERWHELMING TO THAT FACT. ANYONE WHO DENIES IT HAS EITHER GOT THEIR HEAD IN THE SAND, CHOSEN TO DELIBERATELY INGORE IT, OR IS SO UN-EDUCATED ON THE MATTER, THEY ARE BOTTOM OF THE CLASS, EVEN WITH THEIR PHD.
LET ME CHALLENGE ANY OUT THERE EVEN WITH PHD; YOU ARE DUM AND STUPID AND UNEDUCATED TO THE EIGHTH DEGREE, IF YOU BELIEVE THE 10 TRIBES EN MASS EVER RETURNED TO JUDAH. TIME TO WAKE UP, OPEN YOUR EYES FROM SLEEP, BRUSH THE COBWEBS FROM YOUR BRAIN, AND GET INTO GEAR. Lastly, Revelation 7:1-8 informs us that the Lord has not lost track of the whereabouts of the ten tribes, as 12,000 members from each of those tribes show up in the end times among, the 144,000 Hebrew witnesses. However, the location of these ten tribes is not given, other than a clue that some angel from the "east" is instrumental in sealing these witnesses for service to the Lord. But typically, east is not a term identifying America, which exists far west of Israel today.
Although there are likely members from the ten tribes of Israel residing in America today, their identities are not entirely lost, and their existence in America does not preclude that the United States exists in the Bible. More importantly, identifying the whereabouts of these ten tribes hardly offers any invaluable insights into America's future.
