CONTRASTED WITH THE RIGHTEOUS: 

Psa. 1:1. Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2. But his delight is in the law of the Lord ; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. 4. The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. 5. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. 6. For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Psa. 11:5. The Lord trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.

15. As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I
awake, with thy likeness.

Psa. 32:10. Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the Lord, mercy shall compass him about.

Psa. 37:17. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the Lord upholdeth the righteous.18. The Lord knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever. 19. They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied. 20. But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the Lord shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away. 21. The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again, but the righteous showeth mercy, and giveth. 22. For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him, shall be cut off. 37. Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace. 38. Psa. 68:6. God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.   

Psa. 73:1.  Truly God is good to, Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart. 2. But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped.  3. For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked. 4. For there are no bands in their deaths but their strength is firm. 5. They are not in trouble as other men; neither are they plagued like other men.  6. Therefore pride compasseth them about as a chain; violence covereth them as a garment. 7.   Their eyes stand out with fatness: they have more than heart could wish. 8.   They are corrupt, and speak wickedly concerning  oppression: they speak loftily.   9. They set their mouth against the heavens, and their tongue walketh through the earth. 10. Therefore his people return hither: and waters of a full cup are wrung out to them. 11. And they say, How doth God know? and is there knowledge in the most High?  12. Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches. 13. Verily I have cleansed my heart in vain,  and washed my hands in innocency. 14. For all the day long have I been plagued, and chastened every morning. 15. If I say, I will speak thus; behold, I should offend against the generation of thy children. 16. when I thought to know this, it was tooI painful for me. 17. Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end. 18. Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction. 19. How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment; they are utterly consumed with terrors. 20. Psa. 75:10. All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the | righteous shall be exalted.

Psa. 91:7.  A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. 8. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

Psa. 107:33. He turneth rivers into a wilderness, and the watersprings into dry ground. 34. A fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein. 35. He turneth the wilderness into a standing water, and dry ground into watersprings. 36. And there he maketh the hungry to dwell, that they may prepare a city for habitation. 37. And sow the fields, and plant vineyards, which may yield fruits of increase. 38. He blesseth them also, so that they are multiplied greatly; and suffereth not their cattle to decrease.

Psa. 125:5. As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the Lord shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Israel.

Prov. 10:6. Blessings are upon the head of the just: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked. 9. He that walketh uprightly walketh surely: but he that perverteth his ways shall be known. 21. The lips of the righteous feed many: but fools die for want of wisdom. 23. It is as sport to a fool to do mischief: but a man of understanding hath wisdom. 24. The fear of the wicked, it shall come upon him: but the desire of the righteous shall be granted. 25. As the whirlwind passeth, so is the wicked no more: but the righteous is an everlasting foundation. 28. Prov. 11:3. The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them. 5. The righteousness of the perfect shall direct his way: but the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness. 6. The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them: but transgressors shall be taken in their own naughtiness. 8. The righteous is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked cometh in his stead. 10. When it goeth well with the righteous, the city rejoiceth: and when the wicked perish, there is shouting. 11. By the blessing of the upright the city is exhalted: but it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked. 18. The wicked worketh a deceitful work: but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward. 19. As righteousness, tendeth to life: so he that pursueth evil pursueth it to his own death. 20. They that are of a froward heart are abomination to the Lord: but such as are upright in their way are his delight. 21. Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered. 23. Prov. 12:3. A man shall not be established by wickedness: but the root of the righteous shall not be moved. 5. The thoughts of the righteous are right: but the counsels of the wicked are deceit. 6. The words of the wicked are to lie in wait for blood: but the mouth of the upright shall deliver them. 7. The wicked are overthrown, and are not: but the house of the righteous shall stand. 13. The wicked is snared by the transgression of his lips: but the just shall come out of trouble. 21. There shall no evil happen to the just: but the wicked shall be filled with mischief. 26. The righteous is more excellent than his neighbour: but the way of the wicked seduceth them.

Prov. 13:6. Righteousness keepeth him that is upright in the way: but wickedness overthroweth the sinner. 13. Whoso despiseth the word shall be destroyed: but he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded. 17. A wicked messenger falleth into mischief: but a faithful ambassador is health. 21. Evil pursueth sinners: but to the righteous good shall be repaid.

Prov. 14:19. The evil bow before the good; and the wicked at the gates of the righteous. 22. Do they not err that devise evil? but mercy and truth shall be to them that devise good. 32. The wicked is driven away in his wickedness: but the righteous hath hope in his death.

Prov. 15:6. In the house of the righteous is much treasure: but in the revenues of the wicked is trouble.

Prov. 21:18. The wicked shall be a ransom for the righteous, and the transgressor for the upright. 26. He coveteth greedily all the day long: but the righteous giveth and spareth not.

Prov; 22:5. Thorns and snares are in the way of the froward: he that doth keep his soul shall be far from them.

Prov. 28:1. The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion. 4. They that forsake the law praise the wicked: but such as keep the law contend with them. 5. Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the Lord understand all things. 13. He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. 14. Happy is the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief. 18. Whoso walketh uprightly shall be saved: but he that is perverse in his ways shall fall at once.

Isa. 32:1. Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment. 2. And a man shall be as a hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary, land.  3. And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken. 4. The heart also of the rash shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly.    5. The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the churl said to be bountiful. 6. For the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the Lord, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail. 7. The instruments also of the churl are evil: he deviseth wicked devices to destroy the poor with lying words, even when the needy speaketh right. 8. But the liberal deviseth liberal things; and by liberal things shall he stand.

Isa. 65:13. Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, my servants shall eat, but ye shall be hungry: behold, my servants shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty: behold, my servants shall rejoice, but ye shall be ashamed. 14. Behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall howl for vexation of spirit.

Mai. 3:18. Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that, serveth God and him that serveth him not.

Rom. 2:7. To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life. 8. But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, 9. Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile. 10. But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile.

Eph. 2:12. That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world. 13. But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. 14. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us.

Phil. 2:15. That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world.

18. And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

1 John 1:6. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth. 7. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

1 John 3:3. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. 4. Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. 5. And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins, and in him is no sin. 6. ever doeth  [practices] not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. 11. For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love oneanother. 12. Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous. 13. Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you. 14. We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. 15. Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him. 16. Hereby perceive we the love i of God, because he laid down hislife for us: and we ought to lay [be laying] down our lives for the brethren. 17. But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?

THE  BIBLE  IS  FULL  OF  GENERAL  STATEMENTS,  AND  AMONG  THESE  VERSES  ARE  GENERAL  STATEMENTS;  THE  WICKED  WHO  DO  NOT  REPENT,  ARE  NOT  ALWAYS  GIVEN  THEIR  JUST  REWARD  IN  THIS  LIFE,  MANY  PROSPER  IN  PHYSICAL  WAYS;  THE  RIGHTEOUS  ARE  NOT  ALWAYS  BLESSED  WITH  PHYSICAL  GOODS  AND  MATERIAL  BLESSINGS,  IN  THIS  LIFE;  SOME  GO  THROUGH  HARDSHIPS  FOR  THE  LORD,  SOME  EVEN  PERSECUTION  AND  DEATH.  BUT  IN  THE  END  THE  RIGHTEOUS  WILL  BE  BLESSED  WITH  ETERNAL  BLESSINGS  THAT  THE  HUMAN  MIND  CAN  HARDLY  COMPREHEND;  WHILE  THE  UN-REPENTANT  WICKED  WILL  BE  DESTROYED  IN  THE  LAKE  OF  FIRE,  AND  FOREVER  BE  NO  MORE [REV. 20].
