ALL ABOUT JUDGMENT AND JUSTICE WHAT THE BIBLE HAS TO SAY A VERY SERIOUS SUBJECT - NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART OR THOSE WHO THINK THEY CAN GET INTO THE KINGDOM OF GOD BY NOT LIVING BY HIS WORD (MATTHEW 4:4) JUDGMENT: Continued from previous page: Matt. 10:14. Whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when you depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust off your feet. 15. It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment than for that city Matt. 11:24; Mark 6:11: Luke 9;5: 10:12-15. Matt. 12:37. By thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. Matt. 23:14. Woe unto you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, for you devour widow's houses, and for pretence, maake long prayers: therefore you shall receive the greater damnation. Luke 20:47. Mark 14:21. The Son of man indeed goeth, as it is written of him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! good were it for that man if he had never been born. Luke 11:49. Therefore also said the wisdom of God, I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they shall slay and persecute: 50. That the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation; v.51. Luke 12:47. That servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. 48. But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes.For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more. He spoke also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. 7. Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? 8. And he answering said unto hint, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it. 9. And if it bear fuit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down. Luke 19:12. He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return. 13. And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto their, occupy till I come. 14. But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us. 16. And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading. 16. Then came the first, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds. 17. And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities. 18. And the seeond came, saying, Lord, thy pound lath gained five pounds. 19. And he said likewise to him, Be thou also over five cities. 20. And another came, saying, Lord, behold, here is thy pound, which I have kept laid up in a napkin: 21. For I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up that thou layest not down, and reapest that thou didst not sow. 22. And he saith unto hint, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow: 23. Wherefore then gavest not thou my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have required mine own with usury? 24. And he said unto them that stood by, Take from him the pound, and give it to him that hath ten pounds. 25. (And they said unto him, Lord, he hath ten pounds). 26. For I say unto you, That unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him. 27. But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me. Luke 21:1. And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury. 2. And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites. 3. And he said. Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all. For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had. John 3.19. This is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. John 5:45. Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust. John 4:41. Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth. John 12:49. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. John 15:22. If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin. 24. If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin, but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father. Rom. 2:5. But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God. 6. Who will render to every man according to his deeds: 7. To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: 8. But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indigmtion and wrath, 9. Tribulation and anguish upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; 10. Glory, honour, and peace to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile. 11. For there is no respect of persons with God. 12. As many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; 27. Shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law. Every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour. 13. Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. 14. if any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. v.12. 1 Cor. 4:5. Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God. 2 Cor. 2:15. For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish: 16. To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. 2 Cor. 11:15. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. Gal. 6:5. Everyone shall bear his own burden. 6. Him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things. 7. Be not deceived; (God is not mocked; for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap). 8. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 9. And let us net be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. 10. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. Eph. 6:7. With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men: 8. Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same, shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free. Col. 3:25. He that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons. 1 Tim. 1:13. Who was before a blasphemer and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. Heb. 2:2. If the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward; 3, How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation. Heb. 10:26. If we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27. But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. 28. Be that, despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: 29. Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? 30. For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. Heb. 12:25, If they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven. Jas. 2:12, So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty. 13. He shall have judgment without mercy. that hath showed no mercy. 1 Pet. 1:17. And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear. 2 Pet. 2:20. For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. 21. It had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. Rev. 2:13. All the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. Rev. 21:12. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. ..........
