IT IS WRITTEN “FOR THE TIME IS COME, THAT JUDGMENT MUST BEGIN AT THE HOUSE OF GOD…….” [1 PETER 4:17]
THE SAINTS/CHILDREN OF GOD HAVE THEIR JUDGMENT NOW AS THEY LIVE.
IT IS ALSO WRITTEN, “AND BEHOLD, I COME QUICKLY; AND MY REWARD IS WITH ME , TO GIVE EVERY MAN ACCORDING AS HIS WORK SHALL BE” [REV. 22: 12]
WE ARE REWARDED BY OUR WORKS, SAVED B Y GRACE, BUT REWARDED BY OUR WORKS THAT WE DO IN THIS LIFETIME.
ALSO WRITTEN, “FOR WE MUST ALL APPEAR BEFORE THE JUDGMENT SEAT OF CHRIST: THAT EVERY ONE MAY RECEIVE THE THINGS DONE IN HIS BODY, ACCORDING TO WHAT HE HAS DONE, WHETHER IT BE GOOD OR BAD” [2 COR. 5: 10].
THIS IS NOT, AS MANY MAKE THE MISTAKE IN TEACHING, SOME HUGE INTERROGATION WITH A LARGE SCREEN, WHEREBY CHRIST GOES THROUGH ALL YOUR GOOD AND BAD WAYS OF LIFE. NOT ONLY DOES THAT CONTRADICT THAT YOUR SINS ARE FORGIVEN AND WASHED AWAY BY THE BLOOD OF CHRIST, NOT BROUGHT UP AGAIN AS YOU APPEAR BEFORE CHRIST; IT WOULD ALSO BE TERRIBLY EMBARRASSING.
WE ARE BUILDING OUR REWARD NOW IN THIS LIFE, ACCORDING TO OUR WORKS, WHAT WE DO, WITH WHAT HAS BEEN GIVEN US.
WE HAVE TO BUILD ACCORDINGLY: IT IS WRITTEN——
“FOR OTHER FOUNDATIONS CAN NO MAN LAY THAN THAT IS LAID, WHICH IS JESUS CHRIST. NOW IF ANY MAN BUILD UPON THIS FOUNDATION, GOLD, SILVER, PRECIOUS STONES, WOOD, HAY, STUBBLE; EVERY MAN’S WORK SHALL BE MADE MANIFEST; FOR THE DAY SHALL DECLARE IT, BECAUSE IT SHALL BE REVEALED BY FIRE; AND THE FIRE SHALL TRY EVERY MAN’S WORK OF WHAT SORT IT IS. IF ANY MAN’S WORK ABIDE WHICH HE HAS BUILT THEREUPON, HE SHALL RECEIVE A REWARD. IF ANY MAN’S WORK SHALL BE BURNED, HE SHALL SUFFER LOSS; BUT HE HIMSELF SHALL BE SAVED, YET SO AS BY FIRE” [1 COR. 3: 11-15].
HOW WE BUILD UPON THE FOUNDATION OF SALVATION THROUGH CHRIST AND GRACE FROM THE FATHER; WHAT WE DO WITH WHAT HAS BEEN GIVEN US WILL DETERMINE OUR REWARD BY OUR WORKS.
WE SHALL NOT STAND BEFORE CHRIST AND SEE ALL OUR LIFE, BAD AND GOOD, PASS BEFORE OUR EYES. THE SINS ARE WASHED AWAY BY THE BLOOD OF CHRIST; OUR WORKS WILL BE AS GOING THROUGH FIRE—— WHAT REMAINS WILL BE THE GOOD WORKS WE DID, AND SO BE REWARDED ACCORDING TO WHAT GOOD WORKS REMAIN THROUGH THE FIRE.
I HAVE A FULL IN-DEPTH STUDY ON THIS SUBJECT CALLED I BELIEVE “JUDGMENT DAY” - IT BLOWS AWAY THE THEOLOGICAL FALSE TEACHING OF MANY AS THEY TRY TO EXPLAIN A CHRISTIAN’S JUDGMENT DAY BEFORE CHRIST.
JUDGMENT
The first assignment for my husband, Cecil, in his art class was to sketch the San Luis Rey mission in Oceanside, California. Everyone turned in a sketch, and the teacher began his oral critique of each student's work. When he came to Cecil's, he held it up and said, "Who is the figure in the doorway of the mission?"
"That's the padre, sir."
"Well, don't you think your padre looks a little sick?"
"He could be," Cecil responded. "I'm am artist, not a doctor."

Toward the end of the nineteenth century, Swedish chemist Alfred Nobel awoke one morning to read his own obituary in the local newspaper: "Alfred Nobel, the inventor of dynamite, who died yesterday, devised a way for more people to be killed in a war than ever before, and he died a very rich man." Actually, it was Alfred's older brother who had died; a newspaper reporter had bungled the epitaph. But the account had a profound effect on Nobel. He decided he wanted to be known for something other than developing the means to kill people efficiently and for amassing a fortune in the process. So he initiated the Nobel Prize, the award for scientists and writers who foster peace.
Nobel said, "Every man ought to have the chance to correct his epitaph in midstream and write a new one."

How do you get a great parking space at a New York Yankees baseball game? One man thought he had a way. According to the Fresno, California Bee, this man pulled his car into the VIP parking lot and casually told the attendant that he was a friend of George Steinbrermer, owner of the Yankees. Unfortunately for the imposter, the person attending the parking lot that day was George Steinbrermer himself, doing some personal investigation of traffic problems at the stadium.
The surprised imposter looked at Steinbrermer and said, "Guess I've got the wrong lot." You can be sure that he did not park in the VIP lot that day or ever. The owner knows his friends. The owner determines who gets in the VIP lot.
God also knows who his friends are and who the imposters are.
