ISAIAH--- A PROPHET FOR TODAY #6

ISAIAH ---- A PROPHET FOR TODAY

CHAPTERS 24 - 27

CHAPTER 24

It is God's time to shake, rattle, and roll this earth; it is the end time of the last 42 months of this age.

As the nations have transgressed and broken God's law, so there will be desolation upon many of them; few people will be left, compared to the population we have today. it is the time for all the prophecies of the book of Revelation to be fulfilled.

All the merry hearts do sigh [verses 1-7].

The city of confusion [Rome and her theology; a mixture of the Bible and traditions and teachings from paganism] will  be broken down,  and be no more. At last the Babylon Mystery Religion will come to an end. Smashed to powder and be no more [verse 10].

There will be a shaking as of the Olive tree and gleaning grapes when the vintage is  gone [verse 13].

There shall be singing for the majesty of the Lord [verse 14]. It is the time setting of the Lord's return to earth.

But that time is also to fear, it is time for the pit and the snare for the inhabitants of the earth [verse 17].

There is no getting away from it all;  some will fall into the pit; some  will rise up out of the pit and be taken by the snare. The windows from on high are open, and the foundations off the earth do shake [verse 18].

The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly. The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, it shall be removed like a cottage [in a wind storm or flood], and  the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it, and it [the transgression] shell fall,  and not rise again [verses 19, 20].

It is surely the time of the end of this age, when the sin of people and nations will never rise again for a thousand years [verse 20].

The might ones, the powerful one, the great ones, the kings of the earth,  shall be gathered together and dealt with. Satan and the demons shall be shut up in a thousand  year prison [verses 21-22].

The heavenly signs Jesus talked about in Matthew 24 shall come to pass [verse 23].

CHAPTER 25

It is  time to really praise the Lord [verses 1-5].

It is time for the new age of prosperity. All the dark blinded minds will have that covering removed. Death will be swallowed up in the Lord's victory. Tears will be wiped away from off all faces. The rebuke and punishment from God's people Israel [all 13 tribes], will be taken away [verses 6-8]. We have seen that prophecy told to us already in previous passages.

"And it shall be said in  that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us; this is the Lord, we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation" [verse 9]. Yes, it is the time for Israel and Judah to be delivered from captivity.  The return of the Lord Jesus has finally come; as we have seen, in his return he delivers Israel and Judah from their enemies.

It is also the time of Moab's destruction as we also read in other prophetic passages. Moab today is the people of Jordon. Yes they  will be punished for their evil work against Judah during the great tribulation[verse 10].

CHAPTER 26

"In that day shall  this song be sung in the land of Judah; We have a strong city; salvation will God appoint for walls and bulwarks. Open you the gates, that the righteous nation which keeps truth may enter in. You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you.....the way of the just is uprightness.... With my life have I desired you in the night, yes, with my spirit within me will I seek you early; for when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness [verse 1-9].

It is the deliverance of Israel and Judah, it is the time they trust fully in God to defend  them, a time when they will be as a strong city. A time for truth and perfect peace of mind. It is the time for the inhabitants of the world to learn righteousness--- and righteousness is defined in Psalm 119: 172--- the commandments of the Lord,  which the nations today will not heed or obey or listen to, but when the new age comes all nations  will finally be willing to learn righteousness.

"Lord, you will ordain peace for us; for you have done all the works in us"--- all has come to pass what the LORD had to do with his people Israel and Judah, including now the delivery from their enemies,  and establishing them in peace and prosperity back to the Holy Land.

"O Lord out God, other lords besides you have had dominion over us; but by you only will we make mention of your  name" [verse 13].

The enemies of Israel and God, are now deceased; they will not rise; all memory of them will disappear as the thousand year age moves along. The analogy of a woman in  childbirth is given for what Israel and Judah have gone through in the last years of this age. Israel and Judah have been in pain, crying out for deliverance. It has seemed the inhabitants of the nations would not fall; all hope seemed lost [verses 17-18].

BUT THERE IS HOPE.... for Isaiah says, there will come a resurrection. "Your dead men shall live,  together with my dead body shall they arise ..." [verse 19].

Will there be a resurrection of Israelites at the coming of the Lord? Maybe it will be so. We know the resurrection of God's children from Adam and Eve will rise to eternal life at the coming of JESUS the Messiah; will some physical Israelites be resurrected? Maybe it will be so. We know some physical people were raised from death when Jesus was crucified and resurrected to eternal life, the Gospels tell us it was so.

"Awake and sing, you that dwell in the dust; for your dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead" [verse 19].

The people of Israel and Judah are given encouragement, to hide and wait, for a  little time, until the indignation be overpast [verse 20].

"For, behold, the Lord comes out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity; the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain [verse 21].

It is time for all nations of earth to be reckoned with; to have their punishment for all the blood that has been poured out during the last years of this age. It is  time for the battle of Armageddon [Revelation 16].

"For, behold, the Lord comes out of his place  to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity; the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain."

CHAPTER 27

It is time for the great dragon, the serpent called Satan the Devil, to be chained up for the age of one thousand years [verse 1].

Again those of Jacob Israel shall take root; Israel shall again blossom, take root and bud, and fill the earth with her now righteousness that shall not die.

We are remind in verses 9-11 that Israel and Judah, the iniquity of Jacob, must be dealt with; they are a people of no understanding; he that formed them, will have to show no mercy, they will have to be punished at this end time of this age.

BUT there is GOOD NEWS--- "AND IT SHALL COME TO PASS IN THAT DAY, that the Lord shall beat off from the channel of the river unto the stream of Egypt, and you shall be gathered one by one, O you children of Israel."  Yes, we have seen this prophecy already in Isaiah 11.

"And it shall come to pass, IN THAT DAY, that the GREAT TRUMPET shall be blown, and they shall come which are ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the Lord in the Holy Mount at Jerusalem" [verses 12-13].

YES IT IS THE TIME OF ISAIAH 11 that we have already studied.

God often repeats important truths in his word. He wants us to get the message. To have it clear in our mind.

I repeat what I've said before; at the blowing of the 7th and last trumpet, Jesus will return! And at that time Christ will deliver  the people of Israel and Judah out of captivity by the Beast power,  the Babylon Mystery religion, the 7th and last resurrection of the Holy Roman Empire in Europe, spearhead by the German nation.  Jesus will deliver Israel and Judah from where they have been scattered, and an Exodus will happen again, greater than the first exodus of about 3 and 1/2 thousand years ago.

Bible  prophecy makes it very clear, when the Messiah Jesus returns, Israel and Judah are in captivity to their lover enemies; and Christ delivers them from that captivity, bring them back to the Holy land and Jerusalem.
