FRUITS OF: Deut. 6:25. And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the Lord our God, as he hath commanded us.

Deut. 28   BLESSINGS  for  serving  and  obeying  the  Eternal  God   Keith  Hunt

Josh. 22:31. And Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest said unto the children of Reuben, and to the children of Gad, and to the children of Manasseh, This day we perceive that the Lord is among us, because ye have not committed this trespass against the Lord: now ye have delivered the children of Israel out of the hand of the Lord.

Psa. 1:3. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Psa. 15:1. Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? 2. He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart. 3. He that, backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour. 4. In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the Lord; He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not. 5. He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.

Psa. 24: 3. Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place? 4. He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. 5. He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

Psa. 101:3. I will set no wicked thing be fore mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me. 4. A froward heart shall depart from me: I will not know a wicked person.

Psa. 106:3. Blessed, are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.

Psa. 112:4. Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous. 5. A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion. 6. Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance. 7. He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord. 8. His heart is established, he shall not be afraid.

Prov. 2:5. Then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God. 6. For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.  7. He layeth up sound

wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly. 8. He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints. 9. Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path. 10. When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul. 11. Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee.12. To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward things; 13.Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness. 14. Who rejoice, to do evil, and delight in the frowardness of the wicked. 15. Whose ways are crooked, and froward in their paths. 16. To deliver thee, from, the strange woman, even from the stranger which flattereth with her words.17. Which forsaketh the guide of her youth, and forgetteth the covenant of her God. 18. For her house
inclineth unto death, and her paths unto the dead. 19. None that go unto her return again, neither take they hold of the paths, of life. 20. That thou mayest walk in the way of good men, and keep the paths of the righteous.

Prov. 10:2. Treasures of wickedness profit nothing: but righteousness delivereth from death.

Prov. 11:5. The righteousness of the perfect shall direct his way. 6. The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them. 18.The wicked worketh a deceitful work: but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward. 19. As righteousness tendeth to life: so he that pursueth evil pursueth it to his own death. 30. The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.

Prov. 12:28. In the way of righteousness is life; and in the pathway thereof there is no death. Prov. 10:16.

Prov. 13:6. Righteousness keepeth him I that is upright in the way: but wickedness overthroweth the sinner.

Prov. 14:34. Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.

Prov. 21:3. To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.

Prov. 29:7. The righteous considereth the cause of the poor: but the wicked regardeth not to know it.

Isa. 28:17. Judgment also will I lay to the line,  and righteousness, to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.

Isa. 32:l6. Then judgment shall dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remain in the fruitful field. 17. And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever. 18. And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places.

Isa. 33:15. He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil; 16. He shall dwell on high, his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure. 17. Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off.

Isa. 55:12. For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. 13. Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the Lord for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.

Isa. 58:6. Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke? .7. Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh? 8. Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the Lord shall be thy reward. 9. Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity. 10. And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noonday. 11. And the Lord shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not. 12. And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in. 13. If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the Lord, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words: 14. Then shalt thou delight thyself in the Lord; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

Isa. 62:1. For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.

Ezek. 18:5. But if a man be just, and do that which is lawful and right, and hath not eaten upon the mountains, neither hath lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, neither hath defiled his neighbour's wife, neither hath come near to a menstruous woman. 7. And hath not oppressed any, but hath restored to the debtor his pledge, hath spoiled none by violence, hath given his bread to the hungry, and hath covered the naked with a garment. 8. He that hath not given forth upon usury, neither hath taken any increase, that hath withdrawn his hand from iniquity, hath executed true judgment between man and man. 9. Hath walked in my statutes, and hath kept my judgments, to deal truly; he is just, he shall surely live, saith the Lord.

Ezek. 33:15. If the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die.

Dan. 12:3. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament: and they that turn many to righteousness, as the stars for ever and ever.

Hos. 10:12. Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.

Mal. 3:3. And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness.

Mal. 4:2: But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings.

Matt. 5:20. For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Matt. 12:35. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

Mark 3:33. And he answered them, saying, Who is my mother, or my brethren? 34. And he looked round about on them which sat about him, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! 35. For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother. Matt. 12:50.

Luke 3:10. And the people asked him, saying, What shall we do then? 11. He answereth and saith unto them. He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise. 12. Then came also publicans to be baptized, and said unto him, Master, what shall we do? 13. And he said unto them. Exact no more than that which is appointed you. 14. And the soldiers likewise demanded of him, saying, And what shall we do? And he said unto them, Do violence to no man, neither accuse any falsely; and be content with your wages.

Luke 8:15. That on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.

John 3:21. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. 33. He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true.

John 8:47. He that is of God heareth God's words: 49. Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me.

John 13:35. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

John 14:21. He that hath, my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. 22. Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? 23. Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man know me, he shall keep my words: and my Father will love I him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. 24. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings.

John 15:4. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5. I am the vine, ye are the branches:  He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.  8. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. 12. This is my commandment. That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

Acts 9:36. Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which by interpretation is called Dorcas: this womanl was full of good works and alms deeds which she did.

Acts 11:29. Then the disciples, every man according to his ability, determined to send relief unto the brethren which dwelt in Judaea: 30. Which also they did, and sent it to the elders by the hands of Barnabas and Saul.

Acts 19:19. Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together,  and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver.

Rom. 5:1. Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.2. By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, I and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worth patience. 4. And patience, experience; and experience, hope. 5. And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

Rom. 6:19. I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity: even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness. 20. For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness. 21. What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death. 22. But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

Rom. 7:4. Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God. 5. For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death, 6. But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

Rom. 8:4. That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 5. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 6. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Rom. 14:17. For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. 18. For he that in these things serveth Christ and is acceptable to God, and approved of men. 19. Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.

Rom. 15:1. We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves. 2. Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification. 3. For even Christ pleased not himself: but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me. 4. For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. 5. Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be like minded one toward another according to Christ Jesus. 6. That ye may with one mind and and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. 7. Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.

1 Cor. 4:19. But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will, and will know, not the speech of them which are puffed up, but the power. 20. For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.

1 Cor. 12:3. No man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Spirit.

1 Cor. 13:1. Though. I speak with, the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity [love] I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. 2. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. 3. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. 4. Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up. 5. Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; 6. Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; 7. Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. 8. Charity never faileth: but whether there he prophecies, they shall fail [come and be over with] whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. 9. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.10. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. 11. When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things: 12. For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. 13. And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity [love].

2 Cor. 5:17. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new.

2 Cor. 7:10. For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. 11. For behold this selfsame thing, that yesorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter.

2 Cor. 9:10. Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread to your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness.

2 Cor.10:5. Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.

2 Cor.13:5. Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith: prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

Gal. 4:6. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

Gal. 5:22. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Gal. 6:7. Be not deceived;  God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh: reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

Eph. 1:13. In whom ye also trusted; after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise. 14. Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

Eph.  5:9.  For the fruit of the Spirit in us in all goodness, and righteousness and truth.

Phil. 1:11. Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.  27. Only let your conversation [conduct]  be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel. 28. And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them, an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.29. For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake.

Phil. 2:13. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Phil 3:12. Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. 13.. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before. 14. I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Phil. 4:11. Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. 12. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Col.1:12. Giving thanks unto the Father which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: 13. Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son.

Col. 3:3. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 5. Mortify therefore  your members  which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection; eviL concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry. 9. Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds. 10. And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him. 11. Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all. 12. Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness,  longsuffering;    13. Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. 14. And above all these things put on charity [love] which is the bond of perfectness. 15. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts; to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. 16. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and  spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 17. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

Thess. 1:3. Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope  in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father. 9. They themselves show of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and  how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God. 10. And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.

2 Thess. 1:3. We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth: exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth. 4. So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God, for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure. 5. Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God,  that ye may be I counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer.

1 Tim. 2:9. In like manner also, that I women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not [only] with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly I array; 10. But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.

1 Tim. 5:9. Let not a widow betaken into the  number  under threescore years old,[ having been the wife of one man]. 10. Well reported of for good works; if she have brought up children, if she hare lodged strangers, if she have washed the saints' feet, if she have relieved the afflicted, if she have diligently followed every good work.

2 Tim. 2:22. Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

2 Tim. 4:6. For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. 7. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8. Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

Tit. 2:2. That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience. 11. For the grace of God, that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12. Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world.

Tit. 3:14. And let our's also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful.

Philem. 5. Hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints. 6. That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.

Jas. 1:27. Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and  widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

Jas. 2:14. What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? 15. If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food. 16. And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? 17. Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. 18. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: show me thy faith without thy works, and I will show thee my faith by my works. 19. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe and tremble. 20. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? 21. Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? 22. Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect. 23. And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. 24. Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. 25. Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way? 26. For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Jas. 3:11. Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter? 12. Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountains both yield salt water and fresh.13. Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him show out of a good conversation [conduct] his works with meekness of wisdom. 14. But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. 15. This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. 16. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. 17. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. I8. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

1 Pet. 3:1. Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation [conduct] of the wives. 2. While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear. 3. Whose adorning let it not be [only] that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel. 4. But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which in the sight of God is of great price. 5. For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands. 6. Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement. 7. Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered. 8. Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous. 9. Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing. 10. For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile. 11. Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it. 14. But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye.

1 Pet. 4:2. That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

2 Pet. 1:5. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge. 6. And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness. 7. And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity [love]. 8. For if these things be in you and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9. But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

1 John 2:3. And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. 6. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. 10. He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him. 11. But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes. 24. Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. 29. If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth [practices] righteousness is born [begotten] of him.

1 John 3:3. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. 6. Whosoever abideth in him sinneth [practices] not: whosoever sinneth [practices] hath not seen him, neither known him. 7. He that doeth [practices] righteousness, is righteous, even as he is righteous. 9. Whosoever is born [begotten] of God doth not commit [practices not] sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin [practice sin], because he is born [begotten] of God. 10. In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth [practices] not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. 11. For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. 14. We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. 17. But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, howd welleth the love of God in him? 18. My little children, let us not love in word [only], neither in tongue [only]; but in deed and in truth. 19. And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him. 20. For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart and knoweth all things. 21. Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. 22. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. 23. And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. 24. And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him.  And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

1 John 4:4. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 5. They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world,  and the world heareth them. 6. We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. 7. Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and everyone that loveth is born [begotten] of God, and knoweth God. 8. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 9. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 10. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. 12. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.13. Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. 14. And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.15. Whosoever shall confess that, Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. 16. And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love: and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. 17. Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. 18. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect I in love. 19. We love him, because he first I loved us. 20. If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? 21. And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.

1 John  5:1. Whosoever  believeth  that Jesus is the Christ is born [begotten] of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. 2. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.  3. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. 4. For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world, and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. 5. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God.10. He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his son. 13. These things have I written unto you, that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God: 18. We know that whosoever is born [begotten] of God sinneth [practices not] not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

2 John 9. Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

3 John 11. Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good [practices] is of God: but he that doeth evil [practices] hath not seen God.

Rev. 2:2. I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars: 3. And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted. 19. I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works, and the last to be more than the first.
