JUDGMENTS - THE DESIGN OF

DESIGN OF JUDGMENT:
Ex. 14:17. And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the
Egyptians, and they shall follow them: and I will get me honour
upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host, upon his chariots, and upon
his horsemen. 18. And the Egyptians shall know that I am the
LORD, when I have gotten me honour upon Pharaoh, upon his
chariots, and upon his horsemen. 31. And Israel saw that great
work which the LORD did upon the Egyptians: and the people feared
the LORD, and believed the LORD, and his servant Moses.
Lev. 10:3. Then Moses said unto Aaron, This is it that the Lord
spake, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me,
and before all the people I will be glorified.
Deut. 29:22. So that the generation to come of your children that
shall rise up after you, and the stranger that shall come from a
far land, shall say, when they see the plagues of that land, and
the sicknesses which the LORD hath laid upon it; 23. And that the
whole land thereof is brimstone, and salt, and burning, that it
is not sown, nor beareth, nor any grass groweth therein, like the
overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim, which the
LORD overthrew in his anger, and in his wrath: 24. Even all
nations shall say, Wherefore hath the LORD done thus unto this
land? what meaneth the heat of this great anger 25. Then men
shall say, Because they have forsaken the covenant of the LORD
God of their fathers, which he made with them when he brought
them forth out of the land of Egypt. 26. For they went and served
other gods, and worshipped them, gods whom they knew
not, and whom he had not given unto them 27. And the anger of the
LORD was kindled against this land, to bring upon it all the
curses that are written in this book. 28. And the LORD rooted
them out of their land in anger, and in wrath, and in indig-
nation, and cast them into another land, as it is this day.
Psa. 9:16. The LORD is known by the judgment which he executeth:
the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. 20. Put them
in fear, O LORD: that the nations may know themselves to be but
men.
Psa. 59:13. Consume them in wrath, consume them, that they may
not be: and let them know that God ruleth in Jacob unto the ends
of the earth.
Psa. 83:16. Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy
name, O LORD. 17. Let them be confounded and troubled for ever;
yea, let them be put to shame, and perish: 18. That men may know
that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over
all the earth.
Isa. 26:9. With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea,
with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy
judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will
learn righteousness.
Isa. 64:1. Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou
wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy
presence. 2. As when the melting fire burneth, the fire causeth
the waters to boil, to make thy name known to thine adversaries,
that the nations may tremble at thy presence!
Ezek. 11:10. Ye shall fall by the sword; I will judge you in the
border of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the LORD. 11. This
city shall not be your caldron, neither shall ye be the flesh in
the midst thereof; but I will judge you in the border of lsrael
12. And ye shall know that I am the LORD: for ye have not walked
in my statutes, neither executed my judgments, but have done
after the manners of the heathen that are round about you.
Ezek. 12:16. But I will leave a few men of them from the sword,
from the famine, and from the pestilence; that they may declare
all their abominations among the heathen whither they come; and
they shall know that I am the LORD.
Ezek. 14:7. For every one of the house of Israel, or of the
stranger that sojourneth in Israel, which separateth himself from
me and setteth up idols in his heart, and putteth the stumbling-
block of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to a prophet to
inquire of him concerning me; I the Lord will answer him by
myself. 8. And I will set my face against that man, and will make
him a sign and a proverb, and I will cut him off from the midst
of my people; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
Ezek. 21:3 And say to the land of Israel, Thus saith the LORD;
Behold, I am against thee, and will draw forth my sword out of
his sheath, and will cut off from thee the righteous and the
wicked. 4. Seeing then that I will cut off from thee the
righteous and the wicked, therefore shall my sword go forth out
of his sheath against all flesh from the south to the north. 5.
That all flesh may know that I the LORD have drawn forth my sword
out of his sheath: it shall not return any more.
Ezek. 25:5. And I will make Rabbah a stable for camels, and the
Ammonites a couching place for flocks; and ye shall know that I
am the LORD. 7. Behold, therefore, I will stretch out mine hand
upon thee, and will deliver thee for a spoil to the heathen; and
I will cut thee off from the people, and I will cause thee to
perish out of the countries: I will destroy thee; and thou shalt
know that I am the LORD. 11. And I will execute judgments upon
Moab; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
Ezek. 26:6. And her daughters which are in the field shall be
slain by the sword; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
Ezek. 29:9. And the land of Egypt shall be desolate and waste;
and they shall know that I am the Lord: because he hath said, The
river is mine, and I have made it. 16. And it shall be no more
the confidence of the house of Israel, which bringeth their
iniquity to remembrance, when they shall look after them: but
they shall know that I am the Lord GOD.
Ezek. 30:8. And the shall know that I am the Lord, when I have
set a fire in Egypt, and when all her helpers shall be destroyed.
25. But I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and
the arms of Pharaoh shall fall down; and they shall know that I
am the LORD, when I shall put my sword into the hand of the king
of Babylon, and he shall stretch it out upon the land of Egypt.
26. And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and
disperse them among the countries; and they shall know that I am
the Lord.
Ezek. 33:29. Then shall they know that I am the Lord, when I have
laid the land most desolate because of all their abominations
which they have committed.
Ezek. 38:22. And I will plead against him with pestilence and
with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and
upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and
great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. 28. Thus will I magnify
myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of
many nations, and they shall know that I am the Lord.

Dan. 4:17. This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the
demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the
living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men,
and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the
basest of men. 24. This is the interpretation, O king and this is
the decree of the most High, which is come upon my lord the
king. 25. They shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall
be with the beasts of the field, and they shall make thee to eat
grass as oxen, and they shall wet thee with the dew of heaven,
and seven times shall pass over thee, till thou know that the
most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to
whomsoever he will. 26. And whereas they commanded to leave the
stump of the tree roots; thy kingdom shall be sure unto thee,
after that thou shalt have known that the heavens do rule. 34.
And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes
unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I
blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth
for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his
kingdom is from generation to generation.
Rom. 9:17. For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this
same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in
thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the
earth. 22. What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make
his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of
wrath fitted to destruction.
1 Cor. 10:6. Now these things were our examples, to the intent we
should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. 11. Now
all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are
written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are
come.
Rev. 2:23. And I will kill her children with death; and all the
churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and
hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your
works.
