ISAIAH FOR TODAY AND TOMORROW

Isaiah 27

New Living Translation

27 IN THAT DAY

NOTICE  IT!   WE ARE STILL IN THE SAME PROPHETIC TIME AS WE HAVE BEEN IN PAST CHAPTERS. 

IT IS UNMISTAKEABLE.  GOD COULD NOT HAVE MADE IT SIMPLER.  BUT PEOPLE READ RIGHT OVER IT LIKE IT'S NOT THERE.  IT IS CONTEXT, CONTEXT, AND MORE CONTEXT!

SO IN THAT DAY, IN THAT TIME FRAME, IN THAT SAME CONTEXT———

the Lord will take his terrible, swift sword and punish Leviathan,[a] the swiftly moving serpent, the coiling, writhing serpent. He will kill the dragon of the sea.

A TYPE OF THE GREAT DRAGON, THAT OLD SERPENT, SATAN THE DEVIL. THE TIME HAS COME IN HISTORY TO CHAIN UP SATAN  IN  THE  PIT,  TO DECEIVE THE NATIONS NO MORE DURING THE AGE TO COME [REVELATION 20]. 

2 “In that day,
    sing about the fruitful vineyard.
3 I, the Lord, will watch over it,
    watering it carefully.
Day and night I will watch so no one can harm it.
4     My anger will be gone.
If I find briers and thorns growing,
    I will attack them;
I will burn them up—
5     unless they turn to me for help.
Let them make peace with me;
    yes, let them make peace with me.”

REPENTANCE IS THERE FOR ALL TO TAKE. ISRAEL AND JUDAH NOW ONE PEOPLE, A FRUITFUL VINE ONCE MORE. GOD'S WRATH IS GONE; HE WILL TENDERLY KEEP AND GROOM HIS PEOPLE OF JACOB/ISRAEL [THE 12 TRIBES] IF SIN SHOULD COME AMONG THEM, IT WILL BE ROOTED OUT, BURNED UP, UNLESS THEY TURN TO GOD IN REPENTANCE. YES THEY STILL CAN MAKE PEACE WITH THE ETERNAL GOD.

6 The time is coming when Jacob’s descendants will take root. Israel will bud and blossom and fill the whole earth with fruit!

THIS IS IN THE TIME OF THAT DAY; THE CONTEXT WE HAVE BEEN IN FOR CHAPTERS. JACOB'S DESCENDANTS AT THE END TIME WILL BE IN DESOLATION!

EVERYWHERE IN OLD TESTAMENT PROPHECY, WHEN JESUS THE MESSIAH RETURNS, THE PEOPLE OF JACOB [ALL 12 TRIBES] WILL BE IN DESOLATION  CAPTIVITY TO THEIR LOVER ENEMIES, THE LAST EUROPEAN  7TH RESURRECTION OF THE BABYLON/HOLY ROME EMPIRE!

BUT JESUS WILL BRING THEM OUT OF THAT CAPTIVITY. THEY WILL RETURN TO THE HOLY LAND AND BLOSSOM AND BUD AND FILL THE WHOLE EARTH WITH SPIRITUAL AND PHYSICAL FRUIT.

THEY WILL FINALLY BE WHAT THEY WERE CHOSEN BY THE LORD TO BE— DEUTERONOMY 4— A LIGHT OF GOD'S TRUTH AND LAWS, AND ABUNDANT LIVING, SO OTHER NATIONS WOULD WANT TO KNOW THE TRUE GOD.

7 Has the Lord struck Israel
    as he struck her enemies?
Has he punished her
    as he punished them?

NO, OTHER NATIONS WILL BE PUNISHED MORE THAN ISRAEL.

8 No, but he exiled Israel to call her to account.
    She was exiled from her land
    as though blown away in a storm from the east.
9 The Lord did this to purge Israel’s[b] wickedness,
    to take away all her sin.

THE PUNISHMENT ON ISRAEL [ALL 12 TRIBES] AT THE END TIME WAS FOR HER SINS, SHE IS REFUSING TO REPENT FROM— IT IS TO PURGE HER FROM SINS AND WICKEDNESS.

As a result, all the pagan altars will be crushed to dust.
    No Asherah pole or pagan shrine will be left standing.
10 The fortified towns will be silent and empty,
    the houses abandoned, the streets overgrown with weeds.
Calves will graze there,
    chewing on twigs and branches.
11 The people are like the dead branches of a tree,
    broken off and used for kindling beneath the cooking pots.

ISRAEL AT THE END TIMES WILL BE PURGED OF FALSE PAGAN RELIGION; IT SEEMS THAT A HEAVY HAND IS THE ONLY WAY SHE WILL REPENT.

Israel is a foolish and stupid nation,
    for its people have turned away from God.
Therefore, the one who made them
    will show them no pity or mercy.

LOOK AT THE NATIONS OF NORTH-WEST EUROPE, THE CELTIC-ANGLO-SAXON BRITISH COMMONWEALTH, AND THE USA. I WAS RAISED IN THE 1942 TO 1959 FINISHING HIGH-SCHOOL. GOD AND THE BIBLE SINCE THEN HAS BEEN THROWN OUT THE WINDOW; EVOLUTION HAS TAKEN OVER THE SCHOOLS AND UNIVERSITIES; WE ARE BECOMING MORE SECULAR EVERY MONTH AND YEAR.  AND THE JEWS ARE MAINLY SECULAR, THOSE THAT ARE RELIGIOUS STILL WILL NOT ACCEPT JESUS AS THE MESSIAH.

12 Yet the time will come when the Lord will gather them together like handpicked grain. One by one he will gather them—from the Euphrates River[c] in the east to the Brook of Egypt in the west.13 

A SECOND EXODUS IS COMING RIGHT AT THE TIME OF THE RETURNING OF CHRIST JESUS THE MESSIAH, AS WE HAVE SEEN IN CHAPTER 11. 

In that day the great trumpet will sound. 

YES THE 7TH AND LAST TRUMPET OF THE BOOK OF REVELATION CHAPTER 11. WHEN THE KINGDOM OF GOD WILL COME TO EARTH.

Many who were dying in exile in Assyria and Egypt will return to Jerusalem to worship the Lord on his holy mountain.

THOSE ISRAELITES IN GERMANY AND EGYPT WILL RETURN AND WORSHIP GOD IN JERUSALEM, IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH, AS WE ALSO SAW IN CHAPTER 11.  GOD REPEATS AND REPEATS OVER AND OVER AGAIN HIS LAST DAYS PROPHESIES, IN ALL HIS OLD TESTAMENT PROPHETIC BOOKS. THE CONTEXT IS AS CLEAR AS THE SUN IN A CLOUDLESS DAY, BUT MOST READ RIGHT OVER IT ALL. 

ISRAEL AND JUDAH WILL BE PUNISHED, YES, BUT THOSE ALIVE WILL RETURN TO JERUSALEM TO WORSHIP GOD ON HIS HOLY MOUNTAIN.
