Hummer Hero

Well some good news for a change - good from what could have been real bad news.

In Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, three teens obeying the road signs, waiting for the walk signal to cross, were crossing the road; what they did not see was a car speeding towards them. It is now reported the car was going 30 miles an hour OVER the designated speed for that road. The guy (in his 30s) in that car was talking on his cell phone.

Another man saw what was about to happen - three teens get mowed down by this speeding car. He then drove his Hummer into the car, just pushing it away from the teens.

He indeed probably saved the lives of all three teens, while smashing up his Hummer.

More good news: the insurance company for the Hummer Hero says it will not charge him as causing an accident, and will also wave his deductable for getting his Hummer repaired.

Well yes, some things turn out good; there is good news happening out there, and it is good to have it reported on local TV news.

As the one young girl teen said, "I want to thank him from the bottom of my heart for what he did; he is a true hero, he saved three teens whom he never knew."

The Hummer man was a hero; I hope they stick it real good to the guy talking on his cell phone, who nearly killed three teens.

DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE - DO NOT CELL PHONE OR TEXT WHILE DRIVING!!!!
