Mercola.com today tells us that 50 countries and the entire EU have passed laws to label Genetically Modified Foods - BUT the USA still holds out.
The GMF companies have raised millions of dollars to fight California's bill to have GMF on labels.
You talk about some crazy backward mind-set that comes from the USA at times. And the politicians say it's the greatest country in the world ..... well it may be the greatest power militarily and maybe for now it's holding on to the number one spot economically (though millions of USA people would hardly believe that with so many out of work and below the poverty line) but on some issues they are way behind the rest of the world.
What money and lobby people can do in the USA is mind-blowing, and a moral crime.
