FORGIVENESS OF GOD




Gen. 8:21, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's

sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth;

neither will I again smite anymore every thing living, as I have

done.


Gen. 18:26. If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city,

then I will spare all the place for their sakes.  vs. 27-32.


Gen. 19:16. While he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand,

and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two

daughters; the Lord being merciful unto him: and they brought 

him forth, and set him without the city.


Ex. 15:13. Thouin thy mercy hast led forth the people which thou

hast redeemed: thou hast guided them in thy strength unto thy

holy habitation.


Ex. 20:2. I am the LORD thy God ... 6 ... chewing mercy unto

thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. 22. 

Ye have seen that I have talked with you from heaven. Deut. 5:10.


Ex. 22:27. It shall come to pass, when he crieth unto me, that I

will hear; for I am gracious.


Ex. 25:17. Thou shalt make a mercy seat of pure gold:  Psa. 80:1:

Heb. 4:16.


Ex. 32:14. The LORD repented of the evil which he thought to 

do unto his people. 34. Behold, mine Angel shall go before thee.


Ex. 33:19. I will make my goodness pass before thee, and I will

proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious

to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will

shew mercy.


Ex. 34:6. The LORD, the LORD God, merciful and gracious,

longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth. 7. Keeping

mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and

sin.


Lev. 26:44. I will not cast them away, neither will I abhor them,

to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them: for

I am the LORD their God. 45. But I will for their sakes remember

the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the

land of Egypt in the sight of the heathen, that I might be their

God: vs. 40-43.


Num. 14:18. The LORD is longsuffering, and of great mercy,

forgiving iniquity and transgression, 19. Pardon, I beseech thee,

the iniquity of this people according unto the greatness of thy

mercy, and as thou hast forgiven this people, from Egypt even

until now. 20. And the LORD said, I have pardoned according 

to thy word.


Num. 16:48. He stood between the dead and the living; and the

plague was stayed. 


Num. 21:8. The LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent,

and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one

that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.


Deut. 4:31. (The LORD thy God is a merciful God;) he will not

forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of

thy fathers which he aware unto them.


Dent. 5:29. O that there were such an heart in them, that they

would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it 

might be well with them, and with their children for ever.


Deut. 7:9. Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, 

the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that

love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations.


Deut. 32:29. O that they were wise, that they understood this,

that they would consider their latter end. 36. The LORD shall

judge his people, and repent himself for his servants, when he

seeth that their power is gone, and there is none shut up or

left. 43. And will be merciful unto his hand, and to his people.


Judg. 2:18. The LORD was with the judge, and delivered them 

out of the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge: for it

repented the LORD because of their groanings by reason of them

that oppressed them and vexed them. Ex. 2:24,25; Judg. 3:9,15.


Judg. 10:16. His soul was grieved for the misery of Israel.


2 Sam. 12:13. Nathan said unto David, The LORD also hath put 

away thy sin, thou shalt not die.


2 Sam. 14:14. Yet doth he devise means, that his banished be not

expelled from him. 


2 Sam. 24:14. Let us fall now into the hand of the LORD, for his

mercies are great: 16. When the angel stretched out his hand upon

Jerusalem to destroy it, the LORD repented him of the evil, and

said to the angel that destroyed the people, It is enough; stay

now thine hand.


1 Kin. 8:23. There is no God like thee, in heaven above, or on

earth beneath, who keepest covenant and mercy with thy servants

that walk before thee with all their heart.


1 Kin. 11:39. I will for this afflict the seed of David, but not

for ever.


2 Kin. 13:23. The LORD was gracious unto them, and had compassion

on them, ... and would not destroy them, neither cast he them

from his presence as yet.


2 Kin. 14:26. The LORD saw the affliction of Israel, that it was

very bitter: for there was not any shut up, nor any left, nor any

helper for Israel. 27. And the LORD said not that he would blot

out the name of Israel from under heaven: but he saved them by

the hand of Jeroboam.


1 Chr. 16:34. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for

his mercy endureth for ever.


2 Chr. 5:13. It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers

were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and

thanking the LORD, and when they lifted up their voice with the

trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the

LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever;

that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of

the LORD.


2 Chr, 7:3. And when all the children of Israel saw how the fire

came down, and the glory oś the LORD upon the house, they bowed

themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and

worshipped, and praised the LORD, sayinq, For he is good; or his

mercy endured for ever. 6. And the priests waited on their

offices: the Levites also with instruments of musick of the LORD,

which David the king had made to praise the LORD, because his

mercy endureth for ever, 14. If my people, which are called by my

name, shall humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and

turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and

will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.


2 Chr. 30:9. The LORD your God is gracious and merciful, and will

not turn away his face from you, if ye return unto him.


2 Chr. 36:15. The LORD God of their fathers sent to them by his

messengers, rising up between-times, and sending, because he had

compassion on his people, and on his dwelling place Jer. 7:25.


Ezra 9:9. For we there bondmen; yet our God hath not forsaken us

in our bondage, but hath extended mercy unto us in the sight of

the kings of Persia, to give us a reviving, to set up the house

of our God, and to repair the desolations thereof, and to give us

a wall in Judah and in Jerusalem. 13. Thou our God hast punished

us less than our iniquities deserve, and hast given us such

deliverance as this. vs. 7-14; Job 11:6.


Neh. 1:10. These are thy servants and thy people, whom thou hast

redeemed by thy great power, and by thy strong hand.


Neh. 9:17. Thou art a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful,

slow to auger, and of great kindness, and forsookest them not.

27. In the time of their trouble, when they cried unto thee, thou

heardest them from heaven; and according to thy manifold mercies

thou gayest them saviours, who saved them out of the hand of

their enemies. 23. When they returned, and cried unto thee, thou

heardest them from heaven; and many times didst thou deliver them

according to thy mercies; 29. And testifiedst against them, that

thou mightest bring them again unto thy law 30. Yet many years

didst thou forbear them, and testifiedst against them by thy spirit 

in thy prophets: 31. For thy great mercies', sake thou didst not utterly 

consume them, nor forsake them; for thou art a gracious and merciful 

God. vs. 17-20; 2 Chr. 24:19.


Job 23:2. Even to day is my complaint bitter: my stroke is

heavier than my groaning. 3. Oh that I knew where I might find

him that I might come even to his seat! 4. I would order my cause

before him, and fill my mouth with arguments. 5. I would know the

words which he would answer me, and, understand what he would 

say unto me. 6. Will he plead against me with his great power?  No,

but he would put strength in me.


Job 24:12. Men groan from out of the city, and the soul of the

wounded crieth out: yet God layeth not folly to them.


Job 33:14. For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth

it not. 15. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep

falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed. 16. Then he

openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction, 17. That

he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man.   

18. He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from

perishing by the sword. 19. He is chastened also with pain upon

his bed, and the multitude of his bones with strong pain: 20. So

that his life abhorreth bread, and his soul dainty meat. 21. His

flesh is consumed away, that it cannot be seen; and his bones

that were not seen stick out. 22. Yea, his soul draweth near unto

the grave, and his life to the destroyers. 23. If there be a

messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, 

to spew unto man his uprightness: 24. Then he is gracious unto 

him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have 

found a ransom. 25. His flesh shall be fresher than a child's he shall

return to the days of his youth 26. He shall pray unto God, and

he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see his face with

joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness. 27. He

looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted

that which was right, and it profited me not; 28. He will deliver

his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the

light. 29. Lo, all these things worketh God oftentimes with man,

30. To bring back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with

the light of the living.


Psa. 18:50. Great deliverance giveth he to his king; and sheweth

mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore.


Psa. 25:6. Remember, O LORD, thy tender mercies and thy

lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old. 8. Good and

upright is the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.


Psa. 30:5. His anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is

life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the

morning.


Psa. 31:7. I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: for thou hast

considered my trouble; thou bast known my soul in adversities.


Psa. 32:1. Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose

sin is covered. 2. Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord imputeth

not iniquity, 5. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto

the Lord; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin.


Pas. 36:5. Thy mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens.


Psa. 50:21. These things hast thou done, and I kept silence.


Psa. 57:10. Thy mercy is great unto the heavens.


Psa. 62:12. Unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy.


Psa. 65:3. Iniquities prevail against me as for our transgressions, 

thou shalt purge them away.


Psa. 69:16. Thy lovingkindness is good turn unto me according 

to the multitude of thy tender mercies.


Psa. 78:38. But he, being full of compassion, forgave their

iniquity, and destroyed them not; yea, many a time turned he his

anger away, and did not stir up all his wrath. 39. For he

remembered that they were but flesh; a wind that passeth away,

and cometh not again. vs. 4-72; Psa. 106: 43-46.


Psa. 85:2. Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou

hast covered all their sin. 3. Thou hast taken away all thy wrath

thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine anger. 10.

Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have

kissed each other.


Psa. 86:5. Thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and

plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee. 13. Great

is thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the

lowest hell. 15. Thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and

gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.


Psa. 89:2. Mercy shall be built up forever: 14. Mercy and truth

shall go before thy face. 28. My mercy will I keep for him for

evermore.


Psa. 99:8. Thou answeredst them, O LORD our God: thou wast 

a God that forgavest them.



Psa. 100:5. The LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting.


Psa. 103:3. Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all

thy diseases; 8. The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to

anger, and plenteous in mercy. 9. He will not always chide:

neither will he keep his anger for ever. 10. He hath not dealt

with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our

iniquities. 11. For as the heaven is high above the earth, so

great is his mercy toward them that fear him. 12. As far as the

east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions

from us. 13. Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD

pitieth them that fear him. 14. For he knoweth our frame; he

remembereth that we are dust. 17. The mercy of the LORD is 

from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his

righteousness unto children's children.


Psa. 106:1. His mercy endureth for ever. Psa. 107:1; 136:3-26.


Psa. 108:4. Thy mercy is great above the heavens.


Psa. 111:4. The LORD is gracious and full of compassion.


Psa. 116:5. Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is

merciful.


Psa. 117:2. His merciful kindness is great toward us:  Psa. 118:1-4,29.


Psa. 119:64. The earth, O LORD, is full of thy mercy: 156. Great

are thy tender mercies, O LORD.


Psa. 130:3. If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, 

who shall stand? 4. There is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest

be feared. 7. Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD

there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.  8. And he

shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.


Psa. 135:14. He will repent himself concerning his servants.


Psa. 138:2. I will ... praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and

for thy truth.


Psa. 145:8. The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow 

to anger, and of great mercy. 9. The LORD is good to all: and his

tender mercies are over all his works.


Psa. 146:7. Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which

giveth food to the hungry. The LORD looseth the prisoners: 8. The

LORD openeth the eyes of the blind the LORD raiseth them that are

bowed down.


Prov. 16:6. By mercy and truth iniquity is purged.


Prov. 28:13. He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but

whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.


Isa. 1:5. Why should ye be stricken any more? 18. Come now, 

and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as

scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like

crimson, they shall be as wool.


Isa. 6:7. Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is

taken away, and thy sin purged.


Isa. 12:1. 0 LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry

with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.


Isa. 17:6. Yet gleaning grapes shall be left in it, as the shaking 

of an olive tree, two or three berries in the top of the uppermost 

bough, four or five in the outmost fruitful branches thereof, 

saith the LORD God of Israel.  Isa. 24:13.


Isa. 54:9. For as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no

more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth

with thee, nor rebuke thee.


Isa. 55:7. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous

man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will

have mercy upon him, and to our God, for he will abundantly

pardon. 8. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither care

your ways my ways, saith the LORD. 9. For as the heavens are

higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and

in thoughts than your thoughts.


Isa. 57:11. Have not I held my peace even of old, and thou

fearest me not? 15. I dwell in the high and holy place, with him

also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the

spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite

ones. 16. I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always

wroth: for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls which

I have made. 18. I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will

lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his

mourners. 10. I create the fruit of the lips - Peace, peace to

him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the LORD; 

and I will heal him.


Isa. 60:10. In my wrath I smote thee, but in my favour have I 

had mercy on thee.


Isa. 65:2. I have spread out my hands all the day unto a

rebellious people, which walketh in a way that was not good,

after their own thoughts; 8. As the new wine is found in the

cluster, and one saith, Destroy it not; for a blessing is in it:

so will I do for my servants' sakes, that I may not destroy them

all.


Jer. 2:9. Wherefore I will yet plead with you, saith the LORD,

and with your children's children will I plead.


Jer. 3:12. Go and proclaim these words toward the north, 

and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the LORD, and I 

will not cause mine anger to fall upon you for I am merciful, saith 

the LORD, and I will not keep anger for ever. 22. Return, ye

backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings. vs. 1-22.


Jer. 4:27. The whole land shall be desolate yet will I not make a

full end.


Jer. 5:10. Go ye up upon her walls, and destroy; but make not a

full end.


Jer. 9:24. I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment,

and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the 

LORD.


Jer. 29:11. I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith

the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an

expected end.


Jer. 30:11. I am with thee, saith the LORD, to save thee: though

I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered thee,

yet will I not make a full end of thee: but I will correct thee

in measure, Jer. 46:28.


Jer. 31:20. Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for

since I spake against him, I do earnestly remember him still:

therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have

mercy upon him, saith the LORD. 34. I will forgive their

iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.  37. If heaven

above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched

out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that 

they have done, saith the LORD.


Jer. 32:18. Thou shewest lovingkindness unto thousands.


Jer. 33:8. I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby

they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their

iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have

transgressed against me. 11. The voice of them that shall say,

Praise the LORD of hosts: for the LORD is good; for his mercy

endureth for ever: and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of

praise into the house of the LORD. For I will cause to return 

the captivity of the land, as at the first, saith the LORD.


Jer. 36:3. Return every man from his evil way; that I may forgive

their iniquity and their sin. vs. 6,7.


Jer. 50:20. The iniquity of Israel shall be sought for, and there

shall be none: and the sins of Judah, and they shall not be

found: for I will pardon them whom I reserve.



Jer. 51:5. Israel bath not been forsaken, nor Judah of his God,

of the LORD of hosts; though their land was filled with sin

against the Holy One of Israel.


Lam. 3:22. It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed,

because his compassions fail not. 23. They are new every morning,

great is thy faithfulness. 31. The Lord will not cast off for

ever. 32. But though he cause grief, yet will he have compassion

according to the multitude of his mercies. 33. For he doth not

afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men.


Ezek. 14:22. Therein shall be left a remnant that shall be

brought forth, both sons and daughters: behold, they shall come

forth unto you, and ye shall see their way and their doings: and

ye shall be comforted concerning the evil that I have brought

upon Jerusalem, even concerning all that I have brought upon it.


Ezek. 16:6. When I passed by thee, and saw thee polluted in thine

own blood, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live;

yea, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live. 42. So

will I make my fury toward thee to rest, and my jealousy shall

depart from thee, and I will be quiet, and will be no more angry.

63. I am pacified toward thee for all that thou hast done, saith

the Lord GOD.


Ezek. 18:23. Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should

die saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his

ways, and live. 31. Cast away from you all your transgressions,

whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a 

new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel 1 32. For I have

no pleasure in the death of him that death, saith the Lord GOD:

wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.


Ezek. 20:17. Nevertheless mine eye spared them from destroying

them, neither did I make an end of them in the wilderness. 42. Ye

shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall bring you into the

land of Israel, into the country for which I lifted up mine hand

to give it to your fathers. vs. 11-44.


Ezek. 33:11. As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in

the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way

and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye

die, O house of Israel?


Ezek. 36:25. Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye

shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your

idols, will I cleanse you.


Dan. 4:22. It is thou, O king, that art grown and become strong:

for thy greatness is grown, and reacheth unto heaven, and thy

dominion to the end of the earth. 23. And whereas the king saw a

watcher and an holy one coming down from heaven, and saying, 

Hew the tree down, and destroy it; yet leave the stump of the roots

thereof in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the

tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of

heaven, and let his portion be with the beasts of the field, till

seven times pass over him; 24. This is the interpretation, O

king, and this is the decree of the most High,which is come upon

my lord the king: 25. That they shall drive thee from men, and

thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field, and they

shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and they shall wet thee

with the dew of heaven, and seven times shall pass over thee,

till thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men,

and giveth it to whomsoever he will. 26. And whereas they

commanded to leave the stump of the tree roots; thy kingdom shall

be sure unto thee, after that thou shalt have known that the

heavens do rule. 27 Wherefore, 0 king, let my counsel

be acceptable unto thee, and break off thy sins by righteousness,

and thine iniquities by shewing mercy to the poor; if it may be a

lengthening of thy tranquillity.


Dan. 9:4. O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the

covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep

his commandments. 9. To the Lord our God belong mercies and

forgvenesses, though we have rebelled against him.


Hos. 2:14. I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness.

and speak comfortably unto her. 23. I will sow her unto me in the

earth; and I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy

vs. 14-23; Rom. 9: 15,18; 1 Pet. 2:10.


Hos.11:8. How shall I give thee up, Ephraim? how shall I deliver

thee, Israel? how shall I make thee as Admah? how shall I set

thee as Zeboim? mine heart is turned within me, my repentings are

kindled together. 9. I will not execute the fierceness of mine

anger, I will not return to destroy Ephralm: for I am God, and

not man; the Holy One in the midst of thee.


Hoe. 14:4. I will heal their backsliding, I will love them

freely: for mine anger is turned away from him. vs. 1-8.


Joel 2:13. Turn unto the Lord your God for he is gracious and

merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him

of the evil. 18. Then will the LORD be jealous for his land, and

pity his people.


Joel 3:21. I will cleanse their blood that I have not cleansed:

for the LORD dwelleth in Zion.


Amos 7:3. The LORD repented for this: It shall not be, saith the

LORD.


Jonah 4:2. I knew that tbou art a gracious God, and merciful,

slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repentest thee of the

evil. 10. Then said the LORD, Thou hast had pity on the gourd,

for the which thou hast not laboured, neither madest it grow;

which came up in a night, and perished in a night 11. Should not

I spare Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more than sixscore

thousand persons that cannot discern between their right hand and

their left hand; and also much cattle?


Mic. 7:18. Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity,

and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage?

he retaineth not his anger for ever because he delighteth in

mercy. 19. He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us;

he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins

into the depths of the sea.


Nah. 1:3. The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power.


Zeph. 2:7. The LORD their God shall visit them, and  turn away

their captivity.


Zech. 1:16. I am returned to Jerusalem with mercies: my house

shall be built in it saith the LORD of hosts, 17. The LORD shall

yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem.


Zech. 3:9. I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.


Zech. 10:6. I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save

the house of Joseph, and I will bring them again to place them;

for I have mercy upon them: and they shall be as though I had not

cast them of for I am the Lord their God, and will hear them.


Mal. 3:6. I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob

are not consumed.


Matt. 6:14. If ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly

Father will also forgive you.


Matt. 18:11. For the Son of man is come to save that which was

lost. 12. How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one

of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine,

and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone

astray 13. And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you,

he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine

which went not astray. 14. Even so it is not the will of your

Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should

perish. 23. Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a

certain king, which would take account of his servants. 24. And

when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which

Luke 1:50. His mercy is on them that fear him from generation to

generation. 77. To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by

the remission of their sins, 78. Through the tender mercy of our

God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us.


Luke 6:36. Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is

merciful.

according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of

regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit.


Heb. 4:16. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of race,

that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
