Feast of Trumpets 2011

Today - September 29th 2011 is the Feast of Trumpets.

I have brought you some messages in the past on this day. They are on my website.

The great meaning of this Feast Day is also fully explained on my website in various studies.

I have today not brought you a specific message on this feast day as such, but I have uploaded some new studies to my website under "Christian Living" section.

Those studies are to do with war and killing as pertaining to remembering September 11th and the Muslim people. You should read them.

We need to remember that the true Christian is not of this world. We are under the New Covenant to be a much different (in some respects) person in our living (in some respects) than what God ALLOWED His people under the Old Covenant.

Yes the New Covenant is NOT the Old Covenant, or it would not have been called a NEW covenant. There ARE SOME CHANGES made under the New Covenant as to how the New Testament Christian is to conduct his/her mind and life.

If you remember Jesus' debate with the religious leaders of his day over the issue of "divorce and re-marriage" you will remember an answer He gave them at one point they raised - it was "for the hardness of your heart it was permitted, but from the beginning it was not so."

God ALLOWED some things under the Old Testament because of the HARDNESS of the heart!! It was never God's intent from the beginning for it to be this way. Under the New Testament you will remember Matthew 5,6,7, and Jesus saying, "you have heard..." this or that, but "I say unto you....." and Jesus MAGNIFIED the law (as it was foretold He would in Isaiah) ....He did in effect CHANGE some things as they were now to be under the New Testament.

So you may wonder about divorce and re-marriage; you may wonder about war, should a Christian fight in a nations war machine?; you may wonder about polygamy; you may wonder about how to observe God's festivals today; you may wonder about if the Sabbath commandment (the 4th of Exodus 20) has been changed from the 7th day to the 1st day of the week; you may wonder about how the calendar works today as compared to in Jesus' time ..... and you may wonder about many other things.

On my website the above questions are answered in detail. And some wonder about all the laws in the Bible, and how on earth do we figure which ones are for today. Well then you need to go to my two part study on my website called "Living by Every word of God - How?" That study will give you the keys to figuring it all out.

So for you who are still in the hours of the Feast of Trumpets, continue to enjoy. Those who have finished the keeping of the Feast of Trumpets, I hope it was a blessing to you.
