Roman New Year

Did you notice on the news how the January 1st Roman New Year was brought in AROUND the world!

They brought it in, in China, India, Japan, Russia, and of course all the Western world.

Think for a moment, starting the new year in the middle of the winter for most of the world. Have you ever wondered why. A little time on Wikipedia will give you the answer. It was all to do with the pagan Roman worship of things like the sun - December going down to the shortest day and then the sun being reborn to start to rise to life and long days once more.

As shocking as it may be to you, if you've never heard, the god of this world, Satan the Devil, has used a mighty universal "Christian" church, that started its headquarters in Rome during the first century A.D. It's seat of the world still is in that city. She adopted and adapted many Babylon/Roman mystery customs and practices and teachings. Then to help bring more and more pagans into its fold, they re-named those practices as "Christian."

But they were NEVER Christian - they were NEVER sanctified by the Eternal God in heaven.  They are DECEPTIONS - they are a form of Christian religion that worships the Almighty in VAIN!

This great false Christian church is mentioned in the book of Revelation, especially chapter 17. She is named MYSTERY BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH (Rev.17:5).

There is NO mistaking who she is for the next verse says she is DRUNKEN with the BLOOD of the saints - the true faithful people of God that were holding fast to the faith once delivered to the saints.
There is ONLY one church in history that has sanctioned the death of tens of thousands of the saints of God down through the last 2,000 years - the church that rules nations - the church that is very political with kings of the earth - the church that still has its headquarters in Rome.

All of the old Protestant Bible Commentaries (maybe some of the new ones also) pulled no punches in stating who this church was and is.

And she has made drunk all nations with her spiritual fornication - and one of those false spiritual dogmas and practices was the adopting of the pagan Roman January 1st as the beginning of the new year, and now even the Eastern world has followed and accepted it. She has indeed made the world drunk on her false teaching.

IF the public libraries are still stocking it, if you want the truth of festivals, read the book "Christian Feasts and Customs" by I think it was a man called Weiser - a Roman Catholic Bishop. I read this book when I was 19 in 1962 in the public library and it blew me away for its candor and expounding of so-called Christian Feasts.

God's beginning of the new year starts in the Spring, which is a much more logical start, even just using logic and nothing to do with the Bible.  The new year should start when new life is budding forth once
more.
