Costa Concordia - Fifth Estate

The investigative program "Fifth Estate" on CBC - the Canadian Friday evening show, was all about the recent tragedy of the Costa Concordia Cruise Ship going down sideways off the coast of Italy.

The ship was in tons TWICE the size of the Titanic!!

The safety shipping line other captains and experts said was 5 MILES from the shore. What on earth made this captain go anywhere near the shore .... well only time may bring out, if this captain comes clean with the truth of what he and his right hand staff were doing, to allow the ship within that 5 miles safety gauge.

It was well over an hour after the ship hit the rocks before the captain gave the "abandon ship" order.

The Cruise Ship industry does 30 BILLION a year in business.

Yes it has a super safety record for the millions it carries around in the last 20 years, but try and say that to the 32 plus dead on the Concordia.

The other evening listen to "As It Happens" on CBC radio (6:30 - 8:00 pm) they were interviewing the writer of a new book, I believe called "Walk Across the Sun" - the writer a one time Lawyer in the USA. Well he spent much time investigating the worldwide "sex trade" - the industry of providing in one way or any way, girls for sex hire, in one way or another way, or any way, open or hidden, many literally being sex slaves. His book is a fiction based upon truth, yet as he pointed out much of the horrific truth of how this sex business is done, was left out in its horrible detail, as it would be too hard for people to read.

NOW GET THIS: THE SEX FOR HIRE BUSINESS DOES A 32 BILLION DOLLAR BUSINESS - YES THAT IS BILLION WITH A "B" - AS MUCH AS EXXON DOES IN A YEAR.

"As It Happens" interviewed this author for 15 minutes, so they were able to cover a lot of ground on this worldwide sex industry. They did cover the fact that many MEN put their lives on the line in trying to STOP this industry that they say should really be called "abuse against women." A few countries in Europe have put it on their law books as "abuse against women" and so hand out very strong jail penalties for the pimps, which in one European country has cut the sex industry by 50 percent.

It made me feel sick, very upset, listening to this interview. We Christians tend to lead a sheltered life, staying away from certain parts of towns and away from anything close to the sex industry. So we for the most part don't know what goes on inside this industry, unless we read a book like this man has written. It sure hits home how we still need to pray "Thy Kingdom Come, Thy WILL be done on earth as it is in heaven."

I certainly had no idea the sex trade/sex buy industry did a 32 BILLION dollar intake. As this author said, the pimps are in it for the money, and the girls become just a tool, none human, a thing, to gratify men (of all kinds, including traveling businessmen) - there are so many wanting to buy sex - it's the money in it all that get the pimps abusing girls (under age, some way under the age of 18) and women.

With all this going on around the world, with abortion going on around the world, and so many other sins, that we hear about each day on the news, and including the sin of Sabbath breaking that even most Christians don't take seriously any more. Well no wonder the Eternal will have to bring this world and its nations to REPENTANCE by letting the world come to just about extinguishing itself in warfare. The world's nations have gone over the line of no return, only death towards obliteration will save enough in repentance to start the NEW AGE TO COME.

But we shall have a new age, an age in which will dwell the righteousness of the Eternal God; the laws of the Lord going forth from Jerusalem.

We pray heavenly Father for that day to come soon!
