Syria/Greece/USA Winter/Young gal singer !!

It's been a long time since I commented on Syria. Time to do so.

Speaking from the "world" it is plain as the nose on your face as to what the Syrian Government is doing towards its citizens - killing them.

Where oh where is the UN - Nato - USA/Britain and other Europe countries - talk is cheap as they say.

Time for the above to get off their duff and use their modern space-age weapons and blast the Syrian tanks and this Syrian dictator off the planet.....time to stop the talk and do the action.

Greece, will default by the end of March...bankrupt they will be. They have 20 percent unemployment overall, but 48 percent among the youths. They are over-paid, and the Government has to be pared back - thousands to be out of work. All this is needed IF Europe (and mainly Germany) is to give them another bail-out.

So the people are on the riot again.......well they were getting a huge "social" pay day and too much Government people for too many Government jobs, not really needed.

Now the rubber hits the road.....and the free ride for the people is over .... take the cuts or you go down and out for the count of ten.

The "jet stream" is way way down south and the main chunk of the USA is in for another blast of old winter man, the East - New York, Boston and etc. is to get a pretty good load of snow, rain, ice, black ice (the stuff you cannot see).

I guess I'm in a time warp....but whose is this gal singer "THE voice of her generation" they tell us. Never heard of her, but that's no surprise, I ain't into the modern singer. I do know from hearing her speak tonight on the TV news, she is British, and has had to have some vocal chord surgery. They gave a few snaps of her singing before surgery.....nope was not impressed. But then I'm in a time warp......for lady singers, you can't beat Connie Francis, in my books, the best female voice in the last century. The variety of singing she could do ... well was everything but Opera. Now you want to hear a real singer.....I have Connie on my Youtube (1horsesrcool) - dozens of her songs....now that is singing!!
