CHARACTER OF GOD--- HIS PERSONALITY

 

THE PERSONALITY OF GOD

ONLY  A  LITTLE  OF  THE PERSONALITY  OF  GOD  CAN  BE  OBTAINED  FROM  SINGLE  VERSES  IN  THE  BIBLE.  

I  HAVE  BROUGHT  YOU  AN  IN-DEPTH  STUDY  OF  THE  PERSONALITY  OF  GOD  IN  ANOTHER  SERIES  OF  STUDIES  UNDER  THIS  SECTION, ON  THIS  WEBSITE.  WHOLE  PASSAGES  OF  SCRIPTURE  MUST  BE  TAKEN  TO  FULLY  UNDERSTAND  THE  PERSONALITY  OF  GOD.  ONE  KEY  WAY  IS  TO  STUDY  JESUS  IN  THE  GOSPELS:  FOR  HE  WAS  ASKED  BY  HIS  DISCIPLES  TO  PLAINLY  SHOWN  THEM  GOD  THE  FATHER.  JESUS  ANSWERED  BY  SAYING,  IF  YOU  HAVE  SEEN  ME  YOU  HAVE  SEEN  THE  FATHER.  AND  ELSEWHERE  HE  SAID  THE  FATHER  AND  HE  WERE  ONE.  A  STUDY  OF  JESUS  IN  THE  GOSPELS  IS  ALSO  A  STUDY  OF  THE  FATHER.

BUT  HERE  ARE  SOME  VERSES  ON  THE  PERSONALITY  OF  GOD.

Ex. 8:10. "That you may know there is none like unto the Lord our God.

Ex. 15:11. "Who is like unto you, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like unto you, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?"

Ex. 34:14. "You shall worship no other god: for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God."

Josh. 22:22. "The Lord God of gods, the Lord God of gods, he knows."

1 Sam. 2:2. "There is none holy as the Lord: for there is none besides you: neither is there any rock like our God."

1 Kin. 8:23. "Lord God of Israel, there is no god like you, in heaven above or in the earth beneath. 60. That all the people of the earth may know that the Lord is God, and that there is none else."

Isa. 40:25. "To whom then will you liken me, or shall I be equal? says the Holy One."

Isa. 43:10. "I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. 11. I, even I, am the Lord, and beside me there is no savior."

Isa. 44:6. "I am the first and I am the last; and beside me there is no God. 8. Is there a God beside me? Yea, there is no God; I know not any."

Isa. 45:5. "I am the Lord and there is none else, there is no God beside me. 6. That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the Lord, and there is none else. 21. There is no God else beside me; a just God and a Savior; there is none beside me."

(THE HUMAN MIND CANNOT COMPREHEND THAT THERE WAS NO GOD BEFORE GOD. THE MODERN SCIENTISTS NOW ADMIT THERE WAS A BIG BANG TO START THE PHYSICAL UNIVERSE; THAT AT ONE TIME THE ATOM OR WHATEVER IT WAS THAT STARTED THE EXPLOSION INTO THE UNIVERSE WAS..... WELL SO SMALL, THEY CANNOT REALLY EXPLAIN THAT EITHER, AND THEY ADMIT THEY ARE LOST AND SCRATCHING THEIR HEADS AS TO WHAT WAS BEFORE THAT ATOM THAT STARTED THE PHYSICAL UNIVERSE. THOSE WHO BELIEVE THE BIBLE KNOW GOD WAS THERE BEHIND IT ALL, BUT THE HUMAN MIND CANNOT COMPREHEND THERE WAS NO GOD BEFORE GOD, AND THAT GOD WAS ETERNAL PAST, THE FIRST, AND WILL BE ETERNAL FUTURE. Isa. 46:5. "To whom will you liken me, and make me equal, and compare me, that we may be like? 9. I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me."

Jer. 10:6. "There is none unto you, O Lord; you are great, and your name is great in might. 7. Who would not fear you, O King of nations? For to you does it pertain: forasmuch as it does appear unto all the wise men of the nations, and in all their kingdoms, there is none like unto you. 10. The Lord is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king."

Jer. 14:22. "Are there any among the vanities of the Gentiles  that can cause rain? Or can the heavens give showers? Are not you he, O Lord our God?"

Jer. 32:27. "I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?"

Hos. 13:4. "You shall know no god but me; for there is no savior beside me."

Mal. 2:10. "Have we not all One Father? Has not One God created us?"

(DO NO GET CONFUSED ABOUT THE PHRASE "ONE GOD" - JESUS IN THE GOSPELS SAID THAT HE AND THE FATHER WERE ONE. JESUS IS CALLED GOD IN THE NEW TESTAMENT. GOD THE FATHER IS CALLED GOD. THERE IS ***ONE*** GODHEAD, BUT IN THAT ONE THERE IS MORE THAN ONE INDIVIDUAL PERSON - BOTH WITH THE NAME " GOD" [SEE JOHN CHAPTER 1] - SO IT IS THEN THAT BOTH JESUS AND THE FATHER ARE ONE, BUT BOTH ARE INDIVIDUAL PERSONS. THE NEW TESTAMENT SAYS CLEARLY JESUS SITS ON THE RIGHT HAND OF THE MAJESTY ON HIGH IN THE HEAVENLY THRONE ROOM. HE DOES NOT SIT INSIDE HIM OR ON TOP OF HIM. GOD'S ARITHMETIC IS NOT OUR ARITHMETIC - GOD SAYS  A MAN AND WOMEN IN MARRIAGE ARE ***ONE*** BUT THEY ARE BOTH INDIVIDUAL PERSONS, WITH FORM AND SHAPE, SEPARATE FROM EACH OTHER. SO WITH GOD ONE PLUS ONE DOES NOT ALWAYS EQUAL TWO, BUT ONE. AH YES NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD. THE SO-CALLED "TRINITY" DOCTRINE AS TAUGHT BY THE THEOLOGY OF THIS WORLD IS INCORRECT, MIXED UP, AND FALSE WHEN THEY SAY "GOD CANNOT BE UNDERSTOOD" - NOTHING IS FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH - Keith Hunt)

Mat. 23:9. "Call no man Father upon earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven."

(WE SHOULD NOT SPIRITUALLY GIVE THE TITLE TO ANY MAN AS "FATHER" - THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH IS IN UTTERMOST WRONG WHEN THEY CALL THEIR PRIESTS "FATHER" - OUR SPIRITUAL FATHER IS ***ONLY*** GOD THE FATHER IN HEAVEN. THE SPIRITUAL TITLE "FATHER" ONLY BELONGS TO HIM, NOT TO ANY HUMAN MAN - Keith Hunt)

Mark 12:32. "Well, Master, you have said the truth: for there is but one God, and there is none other but he."

(ANOTHER CONFUSION WITH PEOPLE. THE WORD "GOD" IS OFTEN USED IN THE NEW TESTAMENT FOR GOD THE FATHER - HENCE THERE IS ONLY ***ONE*** GOD THE FATHER - THERE IS ONLY ***ONE*** SUPREME GOD, THE CHIEF IN AUTHORITY ONE - GOD THE FATHER - THIS ALSO BLOWS AWAY THE FALSE TRINITY TEACHING. THERE IS ONLY ***ONE*** WHO SITS ON THE HEAVENLY THRONE - GOD THE FATHER. JESUS THE CHRIST SITS ON HIS RIGHT HAND, NOT INSIDE HIM OR ON TOP OF HIM. WHY A CHILD CAN UNDERSTAND BY READING THE WHOLE NEW TESTAMENT - I UNDERSTOOD IT FROM ABOUT AGE 7 - Keith Hunt)

John 14:9. "He that has seen me has seen the Father; and why then do you say, show us the Father?"

(AGAIN SO SIMPLE, EVEN A CHILD CAN UNDERSTAND! YOU STUDY JESUS IN THE GOSPELS AND YOU ARE STUDYING ALSO GOD THE FATHER - SO SIMPLE - FOR AS JESUS SAID, HE AND THE FATHER ARE ONE - ONE IN EVERY WAY EXCEPT ***AUTHORITY*** - THE FATHER IS TOP IN AUTHORITY IN THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE AND WILL ALWAYS BE SO - Keith Hunt)

John 17:3. "And this is life eternal, that they might know you the only true God."

(JESUS SHOWING HERE THAT GOD THE FATHER IS THE ONLY TOP IN AUTHORITY GOD - THE TOP TRUE AUTHORITY - THE HEAD OF CHRIST [SEE 1 COR. 11:1-3] - THE ONE JESUS WILL FINALLY HAND OVER THE KINGDOM TO WHEN THE AGE TO COME HAS BEEN COMPLETED [SEE 1 COR. 15] - Keith Hunt).

Rom. 3:29. "Is he the God of the Jews only? Is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also."

1 Cor. 8:4. "There is none other God but one. 5. For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth [as there be gods many, and lords many] 6. But to us there is but one God the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him."

(THERE WAS NO PUNCTUATION IN THE GREEK MSS - HENCE IT SHOULD READ "BUT THERE IS BUT ONE GOD THE FATHER." THIS IS THE TRUE UNDERSTANDING AS ALL THE NEW TESTAMENT PROVES. THERE IS ONLY ***ONE*** SUPREME IN AUTHORITY GOD - GOD THE FATHER, AND SO ONLY ONE GOD THE FATHER. JESUS IS NOT GOD THE FATHER, GOD THE FATHER IS GOD THE FATHER, JESUS SITS UPON HIS RIGHT HAND - HOW SIMPLE - Keith Hunt)

2 Cor. 4:4. "In whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of them that believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them."

(ONCE MORE SHOWING CHRIST IS THE IMAGE OF GOD THE FATHER - HIS LIKENESS IN EVERY WAY, BUT AUTHORITY. ALL THAT THE FATHER IS, SO IS THE CHRIST. THEY ARE ALIKE IN EVERY WAY EXCEPT AUTHORITY - THE FATHER IS HEAD OF CHRIST [1 COR. 11:1-3] - CHRIST SITS UPON THE FATHER'S RIGHT HAND. GOD THE FATHER IS SUPREME IN AUTHORITY, BUT JESUS IS OTHERWISE THE VERY IMAGE OF THE FATHER - IN MODERN LANGUAGE - THE CLONE OF GOD THE FATHER - Keith Hunt)

Eph. 4:6. "One God the Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all."

(HERE AGAIN THE TRUTH IS MADE SO SIMPLE AND PLAIN. THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD THE FATHER - JESUS IS NOT GOD THE FATHER - GOD THE FATHER IS GOD THE FATHER. GOD THE FATHER IS ***ABOVE ALL*** - HE IS THE HEAD OF CHRIST [1 COR. 11:1-3] - GOD THE FATHER IS SUPREME IN AUTHORITY - ANOTHER VERSE TO GIVE THE DEATH BLOW TO THE SILLY TEACHING OF A TRINITY, THAT MOST SAY YOU CANNOT UNDERSTAND. THEY TELL YOU THAT YOU CANNOT UNDERSTAND GOD, SO DO NOT TRY. BUT GOD THE FATHER AND THE GODHEAD CAN BE UNDERSTOOD, THE GODHEAD WANTS YOU TO UNDERSTAND THEM. Col. 1:15. "Who is the image of the invisible God, the first born of every creature."

(JESUS IS NOT GOD THE FATHER - HE IS THE IMAGE, THE CLONE OF GOD THE FATHER - HE IS ALL THE FATHER IS EXCEPT IN AUTHORITY. AND JESUS IS THE FIRSTBORN OF ANYONE, ANY HUMAN. YES JESUS WAS BORN AGAIN, AS SHOCKING AS THAT MAY SOUND TO MAMY, BECAUSE THEY DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT BEING BORN AGAIN REALLY MEANS. 1 Tim. 2:5. "There is one God, and one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus."

Heb. 1:3. "Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on High."

(OH HOW SIMPLE TO UNDERSTAND! JESUS IS THE IMAGE, CLONE, OF GOD THE FATHER, THE BRIGHTNESS OF THE FATHER'S GLORY. JESUS IS NOT GOD THE FATHER, HE IS NOT THE MAJESTY ON HIGH, BUT AFTER PURGING US FROM SIN, HE SAT DOWN ON THE FATHER'S RIGHT HAND, NOT INSIDE HIM, NOT ON TOP OF HIM, BUT ON HIS RIGHT HAND. HOW SIMPLE, SO SIMPLE A CHILD CAN UNDERSTAND. GOD THE FATHER IS THE MAJESTY ON HIGH GOD - THE SUPREME IN AUTHORITY - JESUS IS ALSO GOD, PART OF THE GODHEAD, HENCE THE NAME "GOD" - BUT HE IS NOT GOD THE FATHER. GOD THE FATHER IS SEPARATE FROM GOD THE SON. GOD THE FATHER IS THE MAJESTY ON HIGH, AND GOD THE SON SITS AT HIS RIGHT HAND. THE POPULAR TRINITY DOCTRINE, AS TAUGHT BY MEN, IS NOWHERE TAUGHT IN THE BIBLE.
