THE INVISIBLE GOD

Ex. 20:21. "And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God was."

Ex. 33:20. "You can not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live."

Deut. 4:11. "And you came near and stood under the mountain; and the mountain burned with fire unto the midst of heaven, with darkness, clouds, and thick darkness. 15. You saw no manner of similitude on the day that the Lord spoke unto you in Horeb out of the midst of the fire."

1 Kin. 8:12. "Then spoke Solomon, The Lord said that he would dwell in the thick darkness."

Job 9:11. "Lo, he goes by me, and I see him not: he passes on also, but I perceive him not."

Job 23:8. "Behold, I go forward, but he is not there; and backwards, but I cannot perceive him. 9. On the left hand, where he does work, but I cannot behold him: he hides himself on the right hand, that I cannot see him."

(THERE ARE TIMES, ESPECIALLY TODAY IN THE NEW TESTAMENT AGE, THAT GOD HIDES HIMSELF IN THE PHYSICAL MANIFESTATION FROM HUMANS. I HAVE SHOWN YOU IN OTHER STUDIES UNDER THIS SECTION, THAT GOD, DID MANIFEST HIMSELF LITERALLY AS A HUMAN BEING TO PEOPLE LIKE MOSES [ONE VERSE SAYS HE TALK FACE TO FACE WITH MOSES - EX. 33:11] AND ONCE TO MOSES IN HIS GLORY [BUT ONLY THE BACK PARTS - EX. 33:18-23]. THIS WAS THE SECOND MEMBER OF THE GODHEAD, THE ONE WE NOW KNOW AS CHRIST JESUS. WE SHALL SEE FROM FOLLOWING SCRIPTURES, GOD THE FATHER HAS NEVER BEEN SEEN BY ANY HUMAN BEING. IT IS NOT UNTIL GOD THE FATHER COMES TO THE NEW EARTH TO DWELL WITH HIS CHILDREN THAT WE SHALL SEE HIS FACE - REVELATION 21. BUT AS JESUS HAD TO TELL HIS DISCIPLES WHEN THEY WANTED TO SEE PLAINLY OF THE FATHER, "....HE THAT HAS SEEN ME HAS SEEN THE FATHER...." [JOHN 14:9].  AND SO GOD COULD IF HE CHOSE, AS IN JOB 23, PASS BY US AND WE WOULD NOT KNOW IT - Keith Hunt)

John 1:18. "No man has seen God at any time: the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he has declared him."

John 5:37. "You have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape."

John 6:46. "Not that any man has seen the Father, save he which is of God, he has seen the Father."

(HOW IS THIS? SIMPLE: WE HAVE IN REVELATION 1:13-18 A PICTURE FOR OUR MIND AS HOW JESUS LOOKS TODAY IN HEAVEN ABOVE - IN GLORIOUS FORM. AND AS JESUS SAID IF YOU HAVE SEEN HIM, YOU HAVE SEEN THE FATHER. FOR WHAT THE SON IS SO IS THE FATHER. THE TRUE DISCIPLE OF JESUS KNOWS FROM REVELATION CHAPTER ONE, WHAT JESUS LOOKS LIKE, HENCE WHAT THE FATHER LOOKS LIKE. THE MIND'S-EYE THEN OF HIM WHO KNOWS GOD, HAS SEEN THE FATHER - Keith Hunt)

Rom. 1:20. "The invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead."

Col. 1:13. "Who has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us (moved us over) into the kingdom of his dear Son. 14. In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins. 15. Who is the image of the invisible God, the first born of every creature."

(GOD THE FATHER IS INVISIBLE - ALWAYS HAS BEEN - NO MAN HAS EVER SEEN THE FATHER AT ANY TIME. WE WILL SEE HIM WHEN HE COMES TO THE NEW EARTH TO BE WITH HIS CHILDREN - REVELATION 21. JESUS IS THE FIRSTBORN OF ALL PEOPLE - HE WAS BORN AGAIN. SEE THE CONTEXT OF COL.1:13. 1 Tim. 1:7. "Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honor and glory for ever and ever."

1 Tim. 6:16. "Who only has immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man has seen, nor can see."

1 John 4:12. "No man has seen God at any time."

(GOD THE FATHER HAS NEVER BEEN SEEN AT ANY TIME BY ANY HUMAN BEING. THE ONE OF THE GODHEAD THAT WAS SEEN BY HUMANS, WAS THE ONE WE NOW KNOW AS JESUS THE CHRIST. PEOPLE HAVE BEEN TAKE IN THE MIND'S EYE - A VISION - TO THE HEAVENLY THRONE, AND SEEN THE FATHER AND SON ON HIS RIGHT HAD, AS JOHN WAS IN THE BOOK OF REVELATION. BUT THAT WAS A MIND'S EYE VISION.
