"The word is from the Bible... from the Book of Isaiah... the ninth chapter...Isaiah 9:10.".......
"Yes. So if that same prophetic message, that same warning of judgment, once given in Israel's last days, should now manifest itself in America, it will be a sign—a sign that America is now the nation that once knew God but then fell away and is now in danger of judgment and now given warning and a calling to return."
"So if that word should be manifested in America, it becomes a harbinger of America's future?".......
The Third Harbinger: The Fallen Bricks
"I have it!" I said.
"You have what?" he asked.
"The Third Harbinger. I know what it is."
"And what is it?"
"It's the bricks from the prophecy... from Isaiah: "The bricks have fallen.' That's how it begins... the image on the seal. That's what is in ruins... fallen bricks... a pile of fallen bricks."
"Very good, Nouriel. Now tell me what it means."
"It would be the ruins left in the wake of the Assyrian invasion."
"Correct. When the Assyrian attack was over, the people of Israel began surveying the damage. What they found were the ruins of collapsed buildings, heaps of rubble and fallen brick. The bricks had fallen.....became the most visible sign of the calamity and of the fact that the nation's existence now rested on shaky ground. It was now vulnerable and in danger. The breach had been made, and the destruction, though limited, had begun."
"So the ruin heap of fallen bricks was a sign" I said, "not just of what had happened, but of what would happen if the nation didn't change its course."
"Exactly...the sign of collapse, the collapse of a building, the collapse of a kingdom, and then of a civilization."......;.;

And yet, as in the ancient case, the ruin heap would serve as a sign against the nation's sense of invulnerability. America was now vulnerable. The breach had been made. The stones were coming undone. And the nation's security was resting on shaky ground.".......

'"The bricks have fallen'; it's not just about destruction. It's about a nation's response to destruction, its vow of defiance. So how did America's reaction to 9/11 compare to that of ancient Israel?
"Do you remember the days that followed 9/11?" he asked.
"Of course," I answered.
"No one had to say it. It was as if almost everyone had some sort of sense about it, even if they couldn't put it into words. It was as if the nation had unconsciously heard a silent voice calling it to be still and to return to the foundation."
"The voice of God?"
"Yes, and for a moment, America appeared to be responding. The rush and clamor of its culture were stilled. Wall Street came to a standstill. Hollywood grew silent. Throughout the nation there was a noticeable and massive turning away from the superficial and to the spiritual. Even the name of God was taken out of the closet and publicly proclaimed from Capitol Hill to New York City. Multitudes sang "God Bless America" and gathered for prayer. America's houses of worship overflowed with throngs of people seeking to find solace. In those first few days and weeks after 9/11, it seemed as if there might be a true national turning, a changing of course, an awakening—even a spiritual revival."
"But then America was turning back to God?"
"No. America was not turning back to God. It was a spiritual revival that never came........

THE BRICKS OF THE ANCIENT HOUSE OF ISRAEL FALL FROM AN INVASION!
HE'S ALREADY TRIED TO TELL YOU IT IS THE SAME PEOPLE WHO DID THE 9/11 ATTACK ON AMERICA. ON THAT I HAVE SAID HE WAS VERY WRONG!! THE ANCIENT ASSYRIANS MOVED NORTH AND WEST WHEN BABYLON BECAME THE DOMINANT POWER. I'VE TOLD YOU CRAIG WHITE HAS A FULL IN-DEPTH BOOK ON WHO THE ASSYRIANS BECAME - THEY BECAME THE MODERN GERMANS!! HIS BOOK IS CALLED "THE GREAT GERMAN NATIONS" AND CAN BE OBTAINED FROM AMAZON.COM.
NOW DID LITERAL BRICKS (AND THE AUTHOR DOES TELL YOU HOW THEY WERE MADE - CHEAP AND WEAK) FALL WHEN ISREAL WAS INVADED BY THE ASSYRIANS? DID ISRAEL EVEN MAKE THEIR HOUSES AND TOWNS OUT OF WEAK INFERIOR "BRICK"? IT IS POSSIBLE, MAYBE, FOR BOTH QUESTIONS THE ANSWER COULD BE YES. BUT WHEN "STONE" WAS PLENTIFUL IN ISRAEL, WOULD THEY HAVE CHOSEN TO BUILD WITH BRICK?
WHEN THE TOWERS OF NEW YORK FELL, WAS IT BRICK THAT FELL? LOOKING AT PICTURES OF THOSE TWO TRADE TOWERS ONE CAN SEE THE MAIN STRUCTURE WAS STEEL BEAMS AND GLASS OF SOME KIND. THERE WERE ELEVATOR SHAFTS, FLOORS GOING UP ABOUT 100 STORIES. THERE WERE FOOT STAIRS ALSO GOING ALL THE WAY UP. WOULD ALL OF THAT BE MADE OUT OF BRICK? I GUESS NOT!! IT WOULD HAVE BEEN REINFORCED CONCRETE!!
THERE MAY HAVE BEEN SOME BRICK SOMEWHERE, AS ORNAMENTAL DECORATION, IN THOSE TWO TOWERS, BUT THAT IS ABOUT ALL.
WHEN ISRAEL WAS INVADED AND IF BRICK DID FALL, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN OVER A LARGE AREA, NOT JUST A FEW IMPORTANT BUILDINGS OF SOME KIND. THERE CAN BE NO LINK BETWEEN ISAIAH 9:10 AND THE TWO TOWERS FALLING IN 9/11 AMERICA.
ANY LINK IS STRICTLY IN THE IMAGINATION OF THE AUTHOR'S MIND, AND ISAIAH 9:10 IS NOT A PROPHECY WRITTEN THOUSANDS OF YEARS AGO ABOUT A 2001 AND 9/11 FALL OF TWO TOWERS IN AMERICA.

NEXT TIME I WILL QUOTE FOR YOU FROM ALBERT BARNES' COMMENTARY WHO WILL GIVE YOU THE OVERALL SENSE OF ISAIAH 9:10 AND THE CONTEXT.
REMEMBER THIS THOUGH, THERE HAVE BEEN MANY DEVASTATIONS IN AMERICAN HISTORY, THAT THE NATION COULD HAVE TAKEN AS A CUE TO REPENT AND TURN BACK TO GOD!!

THEY HAD THE DESTRUCTION OF PEARL HARBOR! THEY HAD ALL THE EVIL OF RACE HATRED AND KILLINGS FOR DECADES UP TO THE 1960s! THEY HAD THE LOST WAR OF VIETNAM! THEY HAD THE ASSASSINATION OF PRESIDENT JOHN F. KENNEDY IN 1963!
ALL THE ABOVE IN THE CONTEXT OF A NATION WITH HUGE SINS OF VARIOUS TYPES.
THEN YOU HAVE THE GREAT MASSIVE SIN OF "ABORTION ON DEMAND" BECOMING LAW. MILLIONS OF THE MOST INNOCENT AND HELPLESS KILLED SINCE ABORTION ON DEMAND HAS BEEN LAW. AND TENS OF THOUSANDS AROUND THE COUNTRY DEMONSTRATING ON BEHALF OF THOSE HELPLESS BABIES, AS WELL AS PUBLICLY CRYING OUT THAT IT WAS SIN!!!
THERE HAVE BEEN MANY HARBINGERS WAY WAY BEFORE 9/11 EVER BECAME A REALITY!!

IT'S KINDA LIKE ALL THE RELIGIOUS FUNDAMENTALISTS OF THE LAST 100 YEARS HAVE SEEN THE INCREASE OF WARS, EARTHQUAKES, PESTILENCE, FAMINE, DECEASE, EPIDEMICS, INCREASE IN EVIL AND SIN, AND HAVE BEEN SAYING FOR OVER 100 YEARS "THE END OF THIS AGE IS SOON" OR "JESUS WILL SOON RETURN."
THEY ARE PROPHETS THAT DO NOT KNOW THE 1, 2. 3, PROPHETIC SIGNS THE BIBLE CLEARLY LAYS OUT, THAT MUST COME TO PASS BEFORE THE LAST 3 AND 1/2 YEARS OF THIS AGE COMES, AND SO THEN THE RETURN OF CHRIST JESUS.
THEY ARE BLIND PROPHETS WHO LEAD THE BLIND, AND BOTH WILL FALL INTO THE DITCH!
