ISLAMIC KNOWLEDGE
by Donald A. Syvanen
When I was young, I watched the news for the latest
accurate information. When I was a little older, I verified
on another median the information I heard or,read. Now, I
need to verify the information just as a journalist does:
read or see the actual information reported. So when the
general media states that 'Allah' is Arabic for the God of
Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, I read the Quran. What about
Jesus?

Jesus?
I did a search at Wikipedia.org about 'Jesus in Islam.'
I suspect a lot of the story was done by a Muslim.
Therefore, I tend to believe a lot of the Wikipedia words.
I verified the words in my own copy of the Quran, and let
me tell you now, the words of the general media are
baloney! Allah and the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob
are two different beings! And I don't think they even want
to be seen in the same place at once! In reality, they
cannot be in the same place at once.

First off, Muslims deny that Jesus was God's Son.
To Muslims, the belief that Jesus is the Son of God is
called a 'shirk,' or a denial of the monotheism of God and
it is the sole unpardonable sin. Whew! That's a little
heavy duty stuff for me! Don't be led astray by a Muslim
then!

Read the Word of God, and learn that the Unpardonable
Sin is when you deny the HOLY GHOST! God, our
Father in Heaven, witnesses to us through the Holy
Ghost! God will guide us through Scripture, people we
meet, things that happen, and the witnessing of the Holy
Ghost. At the baptism of Jesus, three manifestations of
the Godhead appeared. God spoke from heaven to say:
"This is My Beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased"
(Matthew 3:17).

The next heavy duty concept with Muslims is that
Jesus was NOT crucified!
Jesus was NOT crucified!
"Thatthey said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of
Mary, the Messenger of Allah"; but they killed him not, nor
crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and
those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain)
knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they
killed him not:-Nay, Allah raised him up unto Himself; and
Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise;—Quran sure.4 (Al-Nisa
??????) ayah 157-158[21]

The Muslim story follows that Jesus did not atone for any
sins, and a belief in Jesus as your Savior is worthless.
Muslims see Jesus as another mortal prophet, another
person crucified instead, and that Jesus was taken by
God to the heavens to await his return.

Again, read the Word, and pray. Muslims say the Holy
Bible was corrupted, but rely on the Holy Ghost to
witness and verify Jesus' words in John 3:16 "For God so
loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that
whoever believes in Him should not perish but have
everlasting life."

The next point, the return of Jesus is a very
intriguing item. Most Christians look forward to the
return of Jesus. Muslims also look forward to the return of
Jesus, but for some different reasons. Let me just quote
Wikipedia.org on their 'Jesus in Islam' page. It is
presented fairly well:
Muslims believe that Jesus will return to earth near the Day
of Judgment to restore justice and to defeat Mas/77
ad-Daijal ("the false messiah," also known as the Antichrist
[4][5]
According to Islamic tradition which describes this
graphically, Jesus' descent will be in the midst of wars
fought by the Mahdi (lit. "The rightly guided one"), known
in Islamic eschatology as "the redeemer of Islam
against the Antichrist" (al-Masih ad-Dajjal, "False
messiah") and his fo!Iowers.[26] Jesus will descend at
the point of a white arcade, east of Damascus, dressed
in yellow robes-his head anointed. He will then join the
Mahdi in his war against the Antichrist. Jesus, considered
as a Muslim, will abide by the Islamic teachings.
Eventually, Jesus will slay the Antichrist, and then
everyone from the People of the Book (ahl al-kitab,
referring to Jews and Christians) will believe in him. Thus,
there will be one community, that of Islam.[27]

Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 3, Book 43: Kitab-ul-llm (Book of
Knowledge), Hadith Number 656: Narrated Abu
Hurairah: Allah's Apostle said, "The Hour will not be
established until the son of Mary (i.e. Jesus) descends
amongst you as a just ruler, he will break the cross, kill
the pigs, and abolish the Jizya tax. Money will be in
abundance so that nobody will accept it (as charitable
gifts)"—Collected by Muhammad al-Bukhari. Sahih ai-
Bukhari.[28]

After the death of the Mahdi, Jesus will assume
leadership. This is a time associated in Islamic narrative
with universal peace and justice. Islamic texts also allude
to the appearance of Ya'juj and Ma'juj (known also as
Gog and Magog), ancient tribes which will disperse and
cause disturbance on earth. God, in response to Jesus'
prayers, will kill them by sending a type of worms in the
napes of their necks. [26] Jesus' rule is said to be around
forty years, after which he will die. Muslims will then
perform the funeral prayer for him and then bury him in
the city of Medina in a grave left vacant beside
Muhammad, Abu Bakr, and Umar (companions of
Muhammad and the first and second Sunni caliphs
(Rashidun) respectively).[5]

Let me further qualify some of the information in the
Wikipedia quote. Mahdi was a seven year old boy in the
days shortly following the original Muslim Muhammad. He
did not die, apparently taken by God until the last days.
This belief is of one sect of Islam, the ones in the
Mideast, Persia, called Shia.
Mideast, Persia, called Shia.
The other Islam majority is called the Sunni. They are
basically worldwide. One more sect of Islam is called
Wahhabi, or the sect in Saudi Arabia. Wikipedia has a
good story about the Saudi religious sect too. I made
some preliminary assumptions and wrote an eBook
available at http://soIomonwright.9f.com. But with this
information on the Muslim perception of Jesus' return and
the Last Days, I am going to redo my assumptions.

From the Wikipedia text, one can see some 'common-
ground' between the Christian and Muslim Last Day
perception: an Anti-Christ. This doctrine is not one I could
find in the Quran, it is in the Hadith, writings of
Muhammad's associates about what Muhammad said
AI-Masih-ad-Dajjal, the Anti-Christ, is in Hadith Number
649 and 650 Volume 4, Sahih Al-Bukhari.

In comparison, the word 'antichrist' appears in the New
King James Bible three times in 1 John 2:18, 22. The
Apostle John sums it up in verse 22b: 'He is anti-Christ
who denies the Father and the Son' NKJV. That means
that Muslims, atheists, and agnostics, are rated as anti-
Christ's in that they ALL deny that Jesus is our Savior, the
Son of God.

The next is from Islamic traditions of how Jesus returns to
aid Muhammad Mahdi in the fight against evil and the
anti-Christ. They win the wars and lead a worldwide
Caliphate, or a worldwide state of Islam! The Devil seems
to have an ace up his sleeve. If a person claiming to be
Mahdi shows some exceptional powers, has another
person appear in a yellow robe coming down from the sky
east of Damascus claiming to be Jesus, I assume that
even Sunnis that do not believe in the appearance of
Mahdi will change their minds!

Now it then does not seem too far-out of an idea to think
of the "we only sell to Muslims" may become a very
popular idea! The Mark-of-the-Beast is a symbolic item.
What you think and what you do come from the mark on
your head and your hand.

Again, read the Word, study and pray. I refer to Zachariah
14:3-4a: Then the Lord will go forth. And fight against
those nations, As He fights in the day of battle. And in
that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, Which
faces Jerusalem on the east. And the Mount of Olives
shall be split in two." NKJV

So we can see how the Lord (whom I interpreted to mean
Jesus) will return and put-His feet on the Mount of Olives!
Not Damascus!
Jesus) will return and put-His feet on the Mount of Olives!
Not Damascus!
So in summary, remember three things about Muslims:
They deny the divinity of Christ.
They deny the crucifixion of Christ.
They have a different Christ returning in the Last-Days.

IT SHOULD BE CLEAR THAT ISLAM IS JUST
ANOTHER FALSE RELIGION IN THE ARSENAL OF
OUR GREAT ENEMY SATAN THE DEVIL WHO
HAS BLINDED THE EYES OF 99.9 PERCENT OF
THE PEOPLE ON EARTH, BUT WHEN JESUS
RETURNS THE BLINDNESS CAST OVER ALL PEOPLE
WILL BE REMOVED - GOD SPEED!!
THAT DAY.
