The World on the MOVE!

MUCH is going on around the world:

167 Twisters in the USA so far and the season for such is hardly started. Midwest - Oklahoma through Arkansas and up to the Carolinas - death and destruction like being hit with an atomic bomb.
..........

Air-traffic-controllers still falling asleep in the USA - moves are on to reorganize a very stressful job and more down-time between shifts - I should think so!
..........

Gas prices shooting up like a rocket - one station in the USA at $4.65 a gallon. They claim partly to blame is low low reserves of oil in the USA. Here in Calgary, Alberta (the Texas of Canada for oil) we are at $4.72 a gallon but our gallons are bigger than the USA gallon. No one seem to know when it may stop rising.
..........

It is 50 years since the disaster of the "Bay of Pigs" - it was to be a secret night time invasion from the USA of Cuba. The secret did not remain a secret and Cuban men were in the trenches waiting, Castro was on the front firing line, as the Cubans opened fire - the USA went down in humble defeat.
..........

Cuba is bringing in reforms - slowly, but they are coming. Now it is going to be law that the top leader can only have TWO 5 year terms in office.
..........

Japan now has "ghost towns" from everyone leaving because of the nuclear melt down after the tsunami hit one of their unclear plants a month ago. ABC news was showing the middle class towns deserted - like some science-fiction movie - weird - nobody knows when they may be inhabited again, if ever.
..........

Syria to bring in reforms after large demonstrations and death. The "state of emergency" is to be lifted - new political parties allowed - and a more open media.
..........

Egyptian once dictator Mubarak and sons on trial for corruptions and for sanctioning killings during Egypt's uprising - maybe justice will prevail - time will tell.
..........

Nigeria is in the stage of voting for new Government, which most hope will bring in a better way of life for the people of that country.
..........

Yemen women were out in full force after the country's leader made disparaging remarks in a speech about women. The marching and demonstrations by women would have been unheard of a month ago - just had never been done.

Many things on the move around the world, including Donald Trump of the USA and his theatrical antics - late night comic hosts getting some good laughs as they go to town on him. I think the tea party he's having is filled not with tea but vodka!
