Tonight on CBC 11 pm National news, they showed people shouting out with anger at "local politicians" over THOUSANDS STILL with no power - no lights, no heat, in the New York area.
NOW, have you heard ANYTHING, has anyone heard anything from President Obama and or the USA Government, that speaks to this issue?
Has anyone heard any USA Government official addressing the problem and stating anything like: "We are going to send people in from different parts of the USA to fix the problem, fast, very fast."
I have heard NOTHING myself on any news program that this will be the case....... and if the people there are now screaming and shouting on the streets in the face of the camera, I don't think any skilled workers from other States are being sent in....... and Obama keeps his golden oratory going and going; as they say, "Talk is cheap."

The now famous 15 year old girl recovering from being shot by the Taliban for wanting girls to have an education in her country, that still has cultic extremists..... well some are saying she should be awarded the Nobel Peace prize....... would be the youngest person EVER to receive it, but I for one would back such a move...... given the nature of the cult in her country, she was indeed very brave to openly voice her desire for all girls to have an education. And of course the Bible would back up her opinion.

A man in the State of Israel, has invented a bike, yes the good old bike all kids (and many adults) have, made out of "cardboard"!!
Yes, cardboard, and finished with.....whatever, would not say, to protect from rain. The first one he made was rejected as ... well just not nice to look at. This one...... very nice, I'll be happy to have one. Oh the COST.....can you believe ONLY $25.

The BIG FICAL cliff for the USA, it's coming January 1st IF some CO-OPERATION between everyone does not happen. And the "experts" - well they just do not know if co-operation will happen.
They think it will, for if not, another million could be out of work and a drop of 5 percent as some say it will be, will take the USA into another recession or even depression.
......
So China will get a new leader very soon, a leader that most of the world, even the people of China also, know very little about. And many are now saying that by 2016 China will move from number two to the number ONE economy in the world, taking over from the USA.
......
Then you have this guy - head of the CIA (a decorated "military man" - well about as high as you can go in the military at one time) RESIGNING from the position, because of having an affair with his lady biographer. Being a man I can understand that some men in middle age, have a middle age sex problem - they go through this "can I attract a young woman" crisis. But I find it harder to understand a younger woman crisis per se. What am I saying? Well to put it bluntly, the once CIA chief is about as homely as it comes...... he's not even good looking! Well being a man, maybe I don't understand what attracts a younger woman to an older, not good looking man. Then I guess I really do not understand it, for when I think about it.......Marilyn Monroe as an adult, married two men who were anything but good looking. Sadly for her they turned out also to be about as bad for her emotionally as you could get. In her case "opposites" DID NOT attract, and like her childhood, her two marriages were hell.
The bottom line....this once CIA head and lady biographer probably knew from the start this was just a "romantic fling" and nothing serious for them as a couple would ever come about.....then I better not be too quick on saying that: he's now resigned from the CIA, maybe he'll resign from his over 30 year marriage. Will not be the first "high up guy" to have other "women" on the side. It is now a well known fact JFK had all kinds of one night stands while being President. And Bill Clinton..... ah we won't go there. So as wise king Solomon said, "There's nothing new under the sun."
