SYRIA - Makes you CRY!

WILL THERE BE ANY BUILDINGS LEFT IN SYRIA THAT WILL NOT HAVE BEEN BOMBED?

IF YOU'VE FORGOTTEN....THE CIVIL WAR CONTINUES IN SYRIA WITH TERRIBLE EFFECTS.

I was driving home this evening after being with my horse for the afternoon, and was listening to the CBC Radio news. They had this interview with a Canadian journalist who was in Syria, it is bad enough to know people are dying, many cannot leave (even though they would love to) for many reasons, destruction of buildings is all over the place and everywhere.

The story that he told breaks your heart. Talking to civilians he said, "I talked to one young lady. A bomb from the Government blew up a house, the parents of a baby boy were killed. The boy was found alive in the rubble. The finders did not know who could look after this baby child. A young woman said, 'I have no children; I will look after the baby.' Then she told me, 'This boy is the next generation, I must look after him so he can grow up and lead our nation the right way.'"

Wow, that was touching. Got to admit a few tears filled my eyes.

And I was once more reminded how we must still pray..."Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven."

What a Satanic influenced world we live in. What a terrible world some are having to live in. We see the pictures on TV news about Syria, but like this journalist said, you really do not fully comprehend it until you are actually there. And he went on to relate how many of the civilians say, "Why is the world not helping us; we are human beings; the world sees how the Syrian Government is bombing us; why is the world not coming to help us?"

I must admit I am wondering also.

Over a MILLION after superstorm Sandy, are still without power - lights and heat. And the temperature is going down to freezing or near.

Thousands have lost their homes, and have no homes to go back to.....thousands will need new homes.

The troubles for many are great. Let us pray the USA Government REALLY steps up to the plate to help all these people.

After the President election on Tuesday, it will be interesting to see how fast the Federal Government jumps in to help all that need helping after that super Sandy storm left them in such destruction.
