Well they gave BEST ACTOR to George Clooney!!
TERRIBLE JUST TERRIBLE MISTAKE - MUST BE POLITICAL - the movie was also profane in many ways - saw it - do not recommend it - the kids were vulgar brats, and Clooney ..... MY HORSE could have acted as good as he did. Absolutely nothing to write home about in his acting. Compared to with winning actors of the past Clooney was miles behind them. He really is not that variety character talented as an actor. It's like they said of John Wayne....."Well he's just John Wayne" and they were basically very right, so with Clooney, he's just George Clooney, no character acting skills at all.
NOW THEY DID GET IT RIGHT with Meryl Steep - SHE WAS FANTASTIC as "The Iron Lady" - now that is "character acting" at its best - George Clooney comes nowhere close to be the actor that Streep is.
Well glad they had the sense to give you Meryl the win - they got one right.
