Oprah is doing a large city tour of Canada.
Tonight - 22nd of January, she was in my town here of Calgary.
She was in the Saddle Dome (Calgary Flames hockey club arena) - holds 18 thousand. Was sold out so they say. Some lining up 2 hours before the ... well show or talk or whatever you want to call it. And maybe to be expected 95 percent women in attendance - all her fans.
I would never have posted this except for Oprah being in my town.
Oprah puts forth (has for decades) an outward.....could say warm, friendly, and you'd think "down to earth" gal, you know someone you could meet on the street or in the elevator, and chat with.....hummmm.....maybe if she thought you were going to praise her up and down and kinda drool while in her presence, she'd chat with you.
BUT INSIDE BEHIND CLOSED DOOR WITH HER STAFF - ALL THOSE BENEATH HER EXALTED AIR OF WORLD-WIDE FAME AND MASSIVE FORTUNE OF MONEY, SHE IS ANYTHING BUT "DOWN TO EARTH" AND THE RELAXED FRIENDLY PERSON SHE WANTS THE WORLD TO THINK SHE IS. WITH HER STAFF AND THOSE BENEATH HER SHE IS A VAIN SNOBBISH EGOTISTICAL GAL.
ABOUT 6 OR 7 YEARS AGO I WAS TALKING TO A MAN IN THE BODY-GUARD WORK. WELL HIS VERSION OF OPRAH WAS ANYTHING BUT FLATTERING. HE SAID ANYONE BENEATH HER, YOU DO NOT TALK TO HER, IF AN AID IN THE CAR SHE WAS IN (GOING HERE OR THERE) TALKED TO HER THEY WERE FIRED AND OUT THE DOOR AS FAST AS A BLINK OF THE EYE.
SO OPRAH IF YOU EVER DO GET TO READ THIS POST. GET OFF YOUR HIGH HORSE LADY, REMEMBER WHERE YOU CAME FROM, FORGET ABOUT YOUR WEALTH AND FAME. TIME TO GET DOWN TO EARTH WITH EVERYBODY, TIME TO REALLY BE FRIENDLY OFF STAGE AS WELL AS ON STAGE. GET SOME REAL HUMILITY.
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, WITH ALL THE READING YOU DO, READ SOME BIOGRAPHIES ON ***ROY ROGERS*** AND LEARN FROM HIM WHAT BEING DOWN TO EARTH IS LIKE WITH EVERYONE AT ALL TIMES.
LIKE THE BRITISH OLD ROYALS....AIN'T NO FAN OF YOURS ANY MORE.
